    Acai Freeze
    Noa M.

Was excited for this place to open so went on opening day a few years ago. Have gone back a few times including recently and it's not as good as I had hoped it would be. I don't see why one should go here over South Block on the same block. South block is so much better! Others probably agree cause I always see people in South Block or picking up from the window but I have never seen anyone at Pressed. The employees working here have been different each time but are never friendly! South Block employees are always so nice.

I was craving something light and sweet for lunch, so acai bowls it was. Pressed Juicery was conveniently on Uber Eats, and I haven't tried it before since there aren't any near where I live. ACAI PROTEIN BOWL - 13.95 On Uber Eats, they charge 15.94 for the bowl (so 1.99 up-charge). The bowl was smaller than I thought, but it was still cold and very refreshing by the time it arrived. The acai was mixed with a bunch of whey protein puffs, a whole banana was sliced up neatly, and there were plenty of blueberries, strawberries, and roasted granola. Overall, this was quite filling and it made a light lunch. Each serving supposedly came with 27g of protein, which was what I needed. Overall, Pressed Juicery was a nice and convenient option. It doesn't stand out compared to all the other juice shops in the area, but there wasn't anything wrong with my acai bowl!

I was looking online for juice cleanse options before an upcoming trip and discovered this location / the juice cleanse packages they offer. They had a combination cleanse package of juices and wellness shots that come in an insulated travel bag, that intrigued me. This location has a wide variety of pressed juice flavors along with smoothies and juice shots. Additionally they also sell açaí bowls and soft serve frozen yogurt. I couldn't resist not trying their chocolate almond crunch - the warmed almond butter topping was so good! The location is a typical juice bar set up, with very limited seating, and counter service. The staff was helpful in their product recommendations and they put my fairly large order together really fast.

OVERALL: I had no idea they sold more than just juice! They have acai bowls, ice cream, and protein bowls. FOOD: we got acai bowls and signed up for the rewards membership to get free wellness shots. The acai bowls were good but the ones at Southblock are better. SERVICE: the woman at the register and who made the acai bowls was super kind! She was helpful and efficient. VENUE: small with limited seating but you can always take your drink or food to the logan circle park!

the limited edition lemon blueberry crumble sundae @pressedjuicery missed the mark in my opinion - definitely try one of their other sundaes if you go!

Service is amazing! Maria is an angel. I was having a terrible day and she was kind, sympathetic and helpful in finding the best juice for my mood. The juices are delicious! I had an apple ginger lemon cayenne and a shot of lemon ginger cayenne. Both were fresh and spicy, DELICIOUS! The juice is worth the squeeze. Maria, thank you for making my day!

Literally in LOVE with this spot! I was so impressed by their selection of juices, lemonades, and smoothies, and their smoothie bowls and freezes were absolutely to die for. I'm usually pretty wary of "healthier" vegan ice creams, especially ones that are almond-based, but Pressed blew it out of the water. Their vanilla freeze is perfect for a hot summer day, is naturally sweetened with dates, and comes with three toppings, which helps to add a bit of texture and ~pizazz~ to your overall experience. I've only tried a few of their drinks (Greens 1, Strawberry Basil Lemonade, Mango Turmeric Lemonade), but all of them have been absolutely delicious so far. I visited Pressed during their grand opening event in July, and I was thoroughly impressed by the staff's hospitality and kindness. I was a bit confused about how everything related to the grand opening promotions worked and which juices would be right for me, but the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. The cashier (bless her soul) answered my many questions and walked me through everything that I needed to know. I really appreciated their patience with me as I sampled different items and asked about ingredients, and they were super accommodating of my dietary restrictions and needs. All in all, highly recommend giving Pressed some love, whether it's for juice or for soft-serve or for a smoothie!

Awesome!! My girlfriends and I live on P, and we were waiting for this place to open forever. Today passed on our walk and went inside to find the most friendly staff who were so nice! Got such a good deal too. So excited for this place to be around this summer!! Also the rosé bowl is amazing...trust

They have a great list of unique rotating flavors, and it's always fun to come back to try out their new seasonal releases. A few of my favorites over the years have been their hibiscus sorbet -- a delightful dairy-free addition to their Hispanic Heritage Month flavors that is the perfect balance of tangy and sweet -- the cinnamon cardamom -- a super spiced ice cream that, despite being freezing cold, feels like you're about to drink a warm beverage -- and blueberry sour cream crumble. When I'm feeling less adventurous, they also have a really solid strawberry ice cream that uses real berries (none of that artificial nonsense you see in grocery stores) with a delightful fruity, slightly tangy flavor. There's usually a pretty long line, but it moves quite quickly since they don't allow samples. It's also a small space that gets crowded pretty easily, so I'd recommend taking your ice cream to go and enjoying it as you walk around Mt Pleasant or on the benches just below the entrance to Mount Desert.

The mutabbaq is good, but the fruit flavors were not good. Blueberry was alright but I couldn't taste the sour cream at all. Watermelon was artificial and bad too. They also don't let people sample, which is weird for an ice cream place. Overall, I would not recommend this place because paying $8+ to take a random chance on ice cream flavors is not worth it at all. At least let us sample first...

I was so excited, in fact, that I waited in line on opening day. While the flavors were indeed exciting, I found the flavor to be muted. I was picturing intense Indian spice that hits you in the face, only to be confronted with very mild flavor. I've been a few times since opening, and I think it's fine, but it doesn't live up to expectations. I've found the soft serve to be better than the hard ice cream, but it almost has too creamy of a texture. The yogurt soft serve flavor with cardamom was the best thing I've tasted there. It took a while for the waitress to come over to get my order. 4. I'm in the middle of a zoom call and instead of her putting the drinks directly in front of my laptop or to the right of my laptop she proceeded to reach over me during the zoom call to put the drink on my side. I've never had a waiter reach across the screen on an obvious Zoom call to put the drink on my side. 5. She brings the machine to Pay and clicks through the screen of what was on the order to the payment screen. I asked her can you please go back so I can see what was on the screen she proceeds to just stand there holding the pay machine and I say I'm not going to pay unless I see what my bill was she proceeds to say she can't go back and that she will show me what I paid after I paid and if she needs to, she will give me back money. I said absolutely not. I need to see it. She proceeds to just keep standing there to try and force me to pay without seeing my bill. I have never been at an establishment that not only will not let you see your bill, but tells you to pay and then you can see your bill. She does this about three times and we're at a standstill to the part where I say I will leave if you do not show me my bill and I can call and pay for it afterwards and then she's able to go to the register and get a copy of my bill which it shouldn't have been that difficult and then I say I would actually like to talk to the manager. 6. The manager was pointless. If I was a manager, I would be completely remorseful and apologetic and he was neither. the main question he kept asking was is there something wrong with the bill. Which I responded, what's going on a customer should be able to see the bill without going through all these hoops and he asked me again. Was there a question about the Bill. I responded again. I should be able to see my bill without all of these other their questions. This was a disappointing experience at a restaurant. They drove out of my way to go to. A customer should not have to call a manager over just to see a copy of their bill. To keep standing there after I said I want to a copy expecting me to pay without seeing the bill is wild and unacceptable. And a manager should absolutely handle it better when their employees doing this. Bad customer service.
