    Hash brown bowl
    Tina C.

Can here during the week and was able to get outside seating. Plenty of indoor and limited outdoor seating. Beautiful weather and great customer service. Ordered the hash brown bowl and was very pleased with my order. Everything was fresh and flavorful and came together nicely. Server was attentive and professional. Would def recommend this spot to anyone.

Delicious food and good service! The brunch menu was surprisingly extensive and there was plenty of seating. I tried a sweet and a savory dish and both were good! The chocolate chip pancakes were pretty good and the chorizo scramble was fantastic! Not to mention, the homemade hasbrown was a great addition.

The Coupe is big and lots of natural light inside!! It's a great place to hang out and great for groups. The vibes get a 4.5/5. Bathrooms are basic but clean. With shared sink. The food was solid 3.5/5, nothing super amazing but good variety on the menu. The tofu tostada looked like a very healthy option (wish I got that) and the breakfast burrito also a hearty choice. Good on our friends for picking those. I shared a burger and the coupe royale. I really liked their scrambled eggs, it was not dry and tasteless like many but had a lovely texture. The pancake was a little dry though. The burger was a bit dry but maybe because it was well done? The service was a bit iffy... we all detected a little bit of "offness" like maybe she was overwhelmed and didn't have much patience.... and didn't like that we were hovered over during paying the check. Brought down the overall experience, but it coulda been an off day for her. All in all, not too bad! I know the group will return for the variety it serves and ease of getting a table. Not for my choice but definitely keep it in mind for medium sized groups!

Great experience on a very busy Saturday. After a 20 minute wait we got seated and enjoyed a great snack, drinks and service. The mimosas were delicious and the everything bagel with peanut butter and jelly was perfect. Loved the vibe and decor. Also fun seeing such a diverse community including lots of young families. Highly recommend this place

    Rude management, even ruder baristas.

As a longtime Yelp Elite, I rarely leave negative reviews--but I believe it's important to speak up when treatment feels disrespectful. I've visited this café several times, including once when I left an average review, but after today I won't be returning. I ordered a small oat-milk vanilla latte, expecting a quick, simple drink. Instead, the drink tasted like lukewarm milk, and when I politely asked for a refund, the experience became incredibly uncomfortable. The same barista from a previous negative interaction handled my order and greeted me with a smirk I should've recognized as a red flag. When I asked for the refund, she called over someone who identified himself as Martin, the assistant manager. He seemed unsure how to process a refund, told me the transaction was voided--even though it still appeared on my card--and then handed me a regular takeout receipt while insisting it counted as proof of cancellation. I didn't feel confident in either explanation. Throughout the exchange, both the barista and the manager spoke to each other in another language, smirked, and acted as if I was causing a disruption. At one point, the manager even said he "didn't want my seven dollars," which felt unnecessary and dismissive. Regardless of the price, any customer deserves a respectful interaction when a drink isn't right. The overall handling of the situation made me feel unwelcome, judged, and deeply uncomfortable. No customer should leave an establishment feeling that way.

I came here for brunch and while the food was average, and the decor was nice, service was very slow. I never got a water refill and it took a really long time to get the check. I have a sense that my server was overbooked. Otherwise tho, the food was ok. I had a salad that was fresh but lacked flavor and a tasty seasonal late. I did however love the big hash brown! Best part of the meal! I probably wouldn't purposely come back here but wouldn't be mad to be invited by a friend here.

    WTF?

So disappointed. I basically donated $6 for a "chai" that was milk with cinnamon. You guys should be embarrassed of yourselves for your service. Actually ruined my day to stop by. The "barista" will smile in your face, so I trusted her, and then I go to leave and look down like wtf.

Came here for Labor Day brunch and it was a solid spot! We were seated right away. Service was a bit slow. It took a minute to get drinks ordered and to pay our check at the end of our meal took a while. I had the hashbrown bowl and split a cheddar jalepeno biscuit, both of which were really hearty and filling! Everyone enjoyed their meals. They have a good range of brunch options and specials.

This spot is perfect for a comforting Sunday brunch, with a wide variety of delicious options on the menu. The burrito is the standout--hearty, flavorful, and worth coming back for. It's a very casual atmosphere, but if you're looking for a laid-back place to enjoy a satisfying Sunday meal, this is it. Being a diner, the service was good for what it was and overall it is an affordable place too!

Popped in when looking for a Sunday pick me up drink and super happy I did. I heard that it can get busy but when we went (around 4) there was tons of space. This place has lots of space which is nice for sure. Coffee was good. Got the iced latte with lavender -next time I'd get it a little less sweet but overall the flavor was great. My sister got a macchiato which she said was delicious. Drinks came out quickly and barista was kind and helpful. Would def come back to check out their breakfast menu!

Visited here again and enjoyed it just as the first. Service was nice and quick, super friendly and welcoming. The space is large with lots of seating. The food was good too of course. I had the biscuit and gravy which was nice and seasoned and filling. I also had a scramble.l, with potatoes eggs and bacon. It was good. I wish there was cheese, that would have been a good touch. I didn't care for the peppers and onions. But overall good spot to check out for a nice breakfast.

The curry itself had a wee bit of spice and was a bit sweet - but that could have been from the sweet potatoes. The chicken was served in a bowl on the side, which felt a bit... odd... An Elegant Breakfast Spot with Wonderful Staff (Just Mind the Checkout)…read moreThe Atmosphere & First Impressions High-End Finishes: The restaurant is beautifully designed with high-end finishes, creating a very upscale environment. Impeccably Clean: Upon arriving, we immediately noticed how clean and well-maintained the entire space was. Warm Welcome: The hostess was incredibly kind and set a great tone for our breakfast. The Food & Service Fantastic Menu: The menu offers a wonderful assortment of options. We were originally drawn in because we were excited to try their homemade Pop-Tart! Accommodating & Kind: Our waiter was a very nice gentleman. The kitchen was more than happy to make small adjustments to our orders for dietary needs, which we deeply appreciated. Kudos to the Staff: The waitstaff does a phenomenal job, especially considering the clientele. This area tends to attract a lot of pompous professionals, and we witnessed customers being incredibly rude to the staff on two back-to-back visits. A Note on the Crowd: For example, we were in on a Thursday afternoon and watched a large group of business professionals completely ignore their server. They wouldn't even acknowledge them or say thank you. It felt like olden times, where the staff were treated like servants to a king or queen and were just expected to take abuse. It was really bad. A Quick Note on the Checkout Process Rushed Payment: The payment process felt a bit rushed. The server hands you a small payment machine and quickly pushes you to complete the transaction right then and there. Keep an Eye Out: We aren't the type of people to scrutinize a bill closely--if it's right around the expected amount, we don't worry about it. However, the lady at the table right before us was loudly complaining about a service fee on her bill, and she ended up not leaving a tip at all because of it. Combined with how fast they push the payment machine on you, it might be worth taking a quick second to look over your total if you are the type of person who likes to verify the fine print. Come on people, do better! Overall Impression It is an expensive spot, but the food quality, cleanliness, and excellent service from the waitstaff make it worth a visit. The staff handles a tough crowd beautifully!

I sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly but busy restocking as it was towards the end of the day. I had the cheery old fashion as she promised it was one of their stronger drinks. I didn't find this to be true, it was actually overly sweet and tasted more like syrup. The second drink I picked was the bourbon bash. I thought this one would be sweet as it's made with different juices but it was actually on the stronger side. Definitely stronger and better than the Cherry old-fashioned. To snack on I went with the steak and cheese, eggrolls and bacon, blue cheese brussels sprouts. The egg rolls were great. Lots of flavor and the texture was spot on. The brussels sprouts were good for the most part. They did go a little overboard with the blue cheese for my tastebuds. My second visit was for a late breakfast. I started with an Irish coffee by recommendation of the bartender. It was a great way to start the day. It was strong enough but with the right balance. My breakfast plate didn't meet my expectations. My eggs were too running, bacon was chewy, toast was stale and the hash browns were only cooked on one side. I did ask for them to be crispy. I picked at it enough to curb my hunger.

The three cocktails we tried--the frose, le jardin, and the clouseau--were all stunners. And of course the bread deserves another special mention, *especially* the room temperature butter. Thank you for not serving hard as hell butter! We shared the warm shrimp salad to start, and for $31, we were expecting more than a few avocado slices and 4 shrimp on it, but c'est la vie. The dressing was incredible, and the greens were crunchy. That's actually the only dish of the night that we thought was unfairly overpriced. One of us ordered the burger and the other got the rabbit pappardelle--you've got to get rabbit when you see it on a menu, which isn't often enough! There was a good amount of super tender meat and the pasta was perfectly al dente, all in a lightly stunning sauce. Chef's kiss. The burger was, no surprise, another triumph. There was juicy meat, bun integrity, and all the right accouterment notes. The fries are standard. Our daughter got their mac-n-cheese, which is probably just the gratin dish renamed. It was OK. We kind of got out of control for dessert and ordered the pot de creme, the cookie dough ice cream, and the profiteroles. Honestly, these were all good, but nothing that stood out as exemplary as with the savory stuff. Our only major complaint was the service. It was really spotty and while there was a very, very long gap in between when we got our water and then put in our drinks, but our mains came out almost directly after the salad. And the guy was just not very hospitable. Not necessarily a "bad" experience...it just could have been a lot better. That said, a couple missteps that should not have occurred took this review into the negative realm. Let's start with the positive. This appears to be a great new addition to the neighborhood, and I hope it is supported. The appetizers were delicious and nicely presented. The pistachio feta with grilled pita was tasty and interesting. The halloumi with orange marmalade was as well. The hostess was engaging and friendly. The atmosphere was calming with a touch of casual refinement. One of the entrees was delicious (the scallops and grits). I'd order all three items mentioned so far, again. The negative. The second entree was the short rib. It was tender and.... Wow, way too salty. A shame because it was otherwise well cooked and nicely plated. But whoa. When the hostess came by, my girlfriend kindly said it was a bit salty. I "refined" her answer and said she was being nice, but it was very salty. The hostess went to note this for the kitchen (a positive for her), and because we are on the first floor outside the kitchen window I heard the conversation. The chef responded that he knew what had happened. Earlier when preparing the short rib someone (in his words) blasted it with salt. What this tells me is that they knew they'd made something close to inedible but served it anyway. At the end of our meal we had leftovers of the two apps and the short rib. We asked for a bit of extra pita to take home and they provided. Then the bill arrived. Not only was there no adjustment for the inedible short rib, but they charged us $2 for the pita. The least they could have done was just given us the pita. Ah well. Those two missteps; 1) serving a known and improperly prepared entree, and 2) not doing something to make good when reported, have led to this sadly negative review for a place that could and should have gotten a positive one. Hopefully someone there will see this, and the experience and review will be a learning opportunity that will help them thrive.

We were seated almost immediately which was great but it took the waiter 15 min to come to our table and the restaurant wasn't really crowded. Once he came to our table we gave him our order for drinks. He did not offer water so we asked for water. It took approximately 25 min to receive our drinks and still no water. He finally brought the water when I asked a second time. While we were waiting for our drinks he was steadily walking around aimlessly until he realized we did not receive our drinks. After delivering our drinks we were finally able to order our food. Our food came out in a decent time however, I was so annoyed by this point. For our entrees we ordered the Cajun salmon with grits and the Cajun pasta with chicken and salmon. The Cajun salmon was good but they gave a small portion in ratio of the amount of grits given. The grits were a bit cold and could have used some more seasoning. The Cajun pasta with chicken and salmon was delicious but could have been hotter as well. For drinks we ordered the pineapple Hennessy and whisky margarita. The Pineapple Hennessy was delicious. The margarita could have been stronger and less sweet. Overall, it was decent experience. Not sure if I will return though. Cheers!
