We came here for a quote to repair small damage to our bumper. The quote we were given was the highest of the three we received...by nearly 3k or 30% higher than other certified repair centers. Not only did they charge a premium on parts but the labor was double. All other businesses we went to quoted us $40-50 for labor and they quoted nearly $80! This place is a scam. My Mercedes Benz had slight damage on the back passenger side plastic bumper where there was a slight indentation. It was struck in a mall parking lot. Notified the insurance company and they estimated that the damage would cost in the range of about $600. Went to paramus collision and they estimated that the cost would cost over $1,500; that's more than 2 1/2 times of the insurance estimate. bought the car into this shop and was called a few days later informing that the car was all done? Upon me picking up the car, I immediately saw that it was poor work done on the car. It looked like the car was rushed and just bondo was added and painted over where you could see where the damage was at. I informed them that this was shoddy work and that I doubted that the bumper was even removed as stated it would be. They agreed that the job wasn't right. They redid the job and now I noticed that on the other side of the bumper along the seam where the plastic bumper meets the metal of the body of the car, there was an inch long chip and about an eighth of an inch wide. I let them know that this damage was not there and that it seemed this occurred during the removal of the bumper. now I'm talking to a new manager there that was recently hired that worled in another capacity at another facility as a service writer for a new car dealership. The prior manager was no longer working there and now the new manager says that that was already there and that insurance wouldn't pay for that and that in order to do the job right, the whole quarter panel had to be painted? Prestige Collision center at Paramus is absolutely unreliable with the worst possible customer service, there is very little communication, no responsibility and couldn't finish a car repair for 7 weeks. I was recommended to consider this place by Prestige Lexus Rt 17. After being involved in a car accident with my whole family in the car, when we were all distraught, I thought it will be less stressful, to get my car towed back to Paramus, close to my house. To my utter disappointment, I haven't yet received my car back after 7 weeks, no one is ready to take any responsibility either. I will never go back to that place, neither would recommend to any one. read more

My car collided with a deer and I dropped it off at the prestage collision center in paramus in New jersey. The painting work was great. But I brought home a mercedes benz e350 that was repaired here. But when I sat in the car, there was white paint on the inside of the hood where it was connected to the window of the car. So I called the Prestige Collision Center and visited in the morning. When I scraped off the white paint at home with my fingernails, white powder came out, but the staff lied, saying it was a scratch. How can be scratched inside hood? The staff have been fixing it soon. When I got home, I found a clear scratch on the inside of the hood, and he had scraped it off with something. And there was a lot of dirt under the headlights. The staff said it was a storm, but that was a lie. When I got home and wiped it with cleaner, it was all gone. read more

I booked a reservation to have my car repaired at the shop approximately one month ago. I was scheduled to come in next week and then they pushed back another 1.5 weeks during the time I'm starting a new job. I would've went to another body shop have they just initially told me that they are overbooked. The customer service had no remorse and was very rude (Karen) when I called them. Got rear ended for the first time so wanted the work to get done right. What was said to be a week took a little more than a month. The collision advisor Edgar Dasilva is a joke. Scheduled a pick up with him and he apparently didn't remember who I was or why I was there. Even the car rental company that was working with them couldn't get in touch with him or anyone over there so they were about to charge me. Didn't even walk around with me once I picked it up. 11/9 Update: The seat cover arrived at Prestige...... but they never ordered the seat padding!!!!! This place is a complete joke!!!!!! 10/31: Dealing with the Prestige Collision Center has been by far the worst experience I have ever had with any company. Five months and it's still not over. I brought my 2007 Jag XK in for some work in June, it's now Oct 31 and I still don't have my car back. So, after several attempts to get updates, Joe Candela, my largely unresponsive and dishonest service advisor got back to me in July telling me the seat cover is expected to arrive the week of 7/11. I let Joe know that I would be away the first week of August so if it is expected to be done then, I can arrange for it to be picked up. I heard nothing. I got back from my trip and emailed Joe again asking for updates. No responses. Finally on August 17 as I was on my way to the shop (since they don't respond to emails I figured I'll just show up face to face) Joe actually responded. Now originally Joe said the part was expected to come in 7/11, but now says it's been on rush order since August 1st but they have no tracking number. I found his interesting since they apparently had an ETA a month before! At this point I got Jaguar USA involved. After working with Jaguar USA on the issue, they advised that the part was in production and would arrive on 10/24. On 10/26 Jag called and said the part arrived in the U.K. but Prestige canceled the order and notified me. Another lie! Last message I had from prestige was on 8/17! At this point, I called to speak to Joe. I left a message with the receptionist. Of course Joe didn't return my call. So I called Geico to let them know the part was canceled. A part Geico already paid for back in June. Next day I send Joe and email and copied Geico. Finally. Joe responds. Later in the day Joe calls and tells me it was a miscommunication. The part shipped 2 days prior. I asked for a tracking number. Joe didn't have one. He said he would get it for me right away. I'm still waiting...... Here's the best part, I know why I'm still waiting. Jaguar calls me 5 mins after Joe and I speak and they tell me the part never shipped!!!! Another lie!!!!! So here I am 5 months later dealing with the most unethical company I have ever experienced. Down to their 5* ratings their own employees give on Facebook. I was levied 200 storage costs and I told them it is not fair since i called 3 times a day. The sales manager Tony Sulaj insisted that I pay. Out of fear, i paid with credit card. Tony subsequently called the police. I was advised by police to call BBB. I have filed complaint against BBB and Consumer Affairs of NJ. This collision center has SEVERE customer satisfaction issues! (I highly recommend looking elsewhere for a quality repair shop) My vehicle was dropped off on 1/30/17, and assessed to (initially) be a 4 day job. Prior to leaving the business, I had to fill out an intake form, listing my home phone #, cell phone #, email address, work phone #, and my spouse's cell phone #... Then was asked which method was my preferred method of contact - I stated my cell phone. The following day I began to receive random emails from PRESTIGE COLLISION with varying/erroneous dates of completion....including February 23rd! When I telephoned THEM, I was instructed to "just ignore the emails since it was a new system they were just starting to use and it isn't giving correct info". After one week passed, and I heard NOTHING from Prestige, I telephoned THEM. I was told that the vehicle was being repainted and was slated for completion by that Friday (11 days in). Since my service advisor, whom I had never met, was "busy with another customer", I decided I would call back later for an exact pickup time. 72 hours later, (the day prior to my slated pickup), I called again....only to learn that my elusive advisor didn't make it into work, so I requested that the receptionist/secretary have HIM call ME first thing in the morning (8am) before I drove over to Paramus. I heard NOTHING that next morning. I waited until noon, and then, once again, I called Prestige. This time I was lucky enough to be able to speak to my assigned advisor (Joe). I told him I was ready to drive over to pick the vehicle up, when he told me: it wasn't ready - in fact, it wouldn't be ready for another 4 or 5 hours, so it was probably best to pick the vehicle up after the weekend. I told Joe that was fine, I'd continue to drive my ENTERPRISE rental car, but would plan to definitely be at Prestige on Monday morning. Before ending my conversation with Joe, I requested that IF, for ANY REASON, there was a problem, he was to call me by 9:30am on Monday. He went on to say that no matter what, he was going to call me Monday at 9am REGARDLESS. Monday morning arrived, I waited until 9:45am - no phone call from Prestige, so I set out. I drove from Rockaway Park (Queens) to Paramus, battling 40-45mph wind gusts crossing the RFK & GEORGE WASHINGTON bridges. I return my rental car and have Enterprise drop me off at Prestige @ 11:25am. When I told the secretary my name, and that I was there to retrieve my vehicle, she telephoned Joe to come up to the front. At that point, I finally met JOE in person, and was promptly told my vehicle was NOT READY! This infuriated me. I asked why I was NOT called, and reminded him of our conversation just 3 days prior when he vowed to call me. He had no excuse and apologized, but told me my vehicle needed another 2 to 3 hours. Without transportation, and NOT living close by, I sat down and began my frustrating wait. After 30 minutes, realizing my anger was NOT subsiding, I requested to speak to the manager "ANTHONY". Anthony listened to my recanted saga, and promptly proceeded to start placing blame on all of the associates involved: 1) the front desk girls must have listed my preferred method of contact incorrectly; 2) the intake staff shouldn't have stated that it would only take 4 days; 3) the secretary should have NEVER told me to ignore those emails with time updates; and 4) Joe had no justified reason not to call me, so he would speak to him.... Excuse after excuse after excuse. As a member of management, never did he accept any responsibility for the cascade of events. He went on to show me pictures of my vehicle that were taken during the repair process, in an effort to show me why it was taking so long. Lastly he offered to have someone drive me to the mall to go shopping while I wait. (...side note, the LAST THING an angry customer wants to do is go shopping!) I went to the customer lounge and waited nearly FIVE hours. When my car was FINALLY brought to the front, the delivery person told me to 'be careful shutting the doors' because usually the kind of repairs done to my vehicle need 24 hours to set the glue. So I became VERY concerned that I have not received a true quality job. Pushed to my ultimate limits, I reached out to PRESTIGE Auto Family management and am currently seeking reprimands for the Prestige Collision team!! Bottom line: PLEASE look elsewhere for a repair shop!!!! read more

My son recently hit some black ice while driving and his Mercedes C63 wound up in a ditch on the Parkway . The car was in bad shape . I called Prestige and Christina took care of everything regarding getting the car towed there and the necessary insurance stuff. I was given weekly updates on the car by Lilli and Christina throughout the process . When I randomly showed up to check on the car Nicky from the shop brought me back to see the progress and went over everything with me . He was very knowledgeable and I knew my car was in good hands . This has been one of the best experiences I have had with an auto body shop . I was in an accident last month and Prestige Collision took fabulous care of my car from beginning to end. They were pretty flexible with dropping it off, dealing with insurance, and making sure I was happy upon pickup. You could not tell the car was even in an accident and needed significant body repair. Karen was the representative in charge of my car and she was wonderful to work with. She answered all my questions no matter how minuscule and kept me in the loop. I brought my son's Audi TT here for repair in December 2017 after my son had an accident. They took a month to repair, that was fine because we wanted the car repaired the right way. Low and behold the paint's clear coat bubbled up on the hood. My son took the car in fore inspection and they admitted that it was a poor job and the would repair it. They give lifetime as long as you own the car. I took the car in on Tuesday morning 9:00 a.m. The manager said that it would probably be ready at the end of the week. Called Friday and was told car was not done. Called Monday, car was not ready, called Tuesday morning 11:00 a.m. was told car was being washed and detailed. Called in the afternoon and was told car won't be ready until Wednesday and when spoke to manager was told they did not want rush ( with an attitude). My reply if the car was repaired right the first time we "wouldn't be having this conversation". The service was bellow bad. Shame will not recommend. read more

***WARNING STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE*** The worst customer service especially from Karen Leighton who is extremely condescending, rude, arrogant, demeaning, just plain nasty, she always comes out with all the excuses in the book to not take responsibility for their Shops Shoddy Repair Work. We took our vehicle in to be repaired only to have them glue the bumper back into place and barely paint the bumper correctly(We had to return a second time to have them paint white spots that were left unpainted). Their excuses are always that the "Insurance Bogeyman told them" as an excuse to steal your money and do absolutely nothing to fix, repair and paint your vehicle correctly. A few weeks after the repair in October the glue they used to position the bumper back into position washed away and my bumper was left hanging in the same original position we brought it in for repair. The people who paint must be using Washable Markers because that has washed away as well. QUOTE FROM THEIR WEBSITE: "REPAIR WORK GUARANTEE. All paint and body repairs are covered for the lifetime that you own your vehicle, all replacement parts carry a manufacturer specific limited warranty. Prestige Collision Center takes great pride in our repairs, rest assure we put quality first and stand behind it and our customers." ^^ LOL good luck ever getting them to honor their "Lifetime Repair Work Guarantee" they will simply give you the excuse of "why did you not bring it in sooner("Lifetime"!) or better yet you got hit again" ROFL. If I could give this collision center 0 stars I would. My husband had work done on his car here within the past 3 years and now the body work has rusted. Since they guarantee their work, he has been trying to get an appointment to fix the rust for the past two months. Apparently they are fantastic when you are a paying customer but when the work they have done in the past is not satisfactory, they do not make amends. This is an Auto Collision Shop? It looks and smells like a new car showroom. This place was immaculate! I was recently in an automobile accident. The other driver was totally at fault. My car was towed by a towing service that was arranged by the police officer on the site of the accident. I didn't have much say at the time where my car was going. The next business day I called my service department for my car and they said they had there own repair center and gave me the name of Prestige Collision Center. When I arrived still shaken up from the accident, the receptionist could not have been nicer. She offered me a seat, a cup of coffee, water, whatever I needed and promptly called an Advisor over. Dave Del Monico was the advisor that came to my rescue. He first ask how I was and had I been hurt in the accident. Then he asked me where my car was, told me how to contact them and get my car released to their recommended towing agent and took care of getting the car to them. They said not to worry the insurance company would reimburse them for the storage and towing while we waiting on the outcome of the accident claim. My car was totaled. Dave contacted me more times than the insurance agent or their adjuster called me. He walked me through everything. Reminded me to take all my belongings from my car when I was ready and took car of the release to the other drivers insurance company. They really put me at ease at a very stressful time in my life. My car has been there for 3 weeks for repairs that were supposed to take 5 days. There is no communication on status of repairs. I thought bringing my Lexus to the dealership that I purchased it from was the right way to go. WRONG! Their unprofessional lack of communication has managed to undo trust and loyalty that took 13 years to build and only weeks to destroy. He always took my calls and kept me abreast of the status of my car. My husband also had his car repaired from a collision with a deer last November and Prestige Collision fixed the car -also an excellent and timely repair. I would not trust any other body shop!! If there is a lower rating than zero I will give it to Prestige Collision Center in Paramus NJ. They kept my car for 20 days and during that time my advisor, Joe Candela, never called me back even I left him messages or with the progress of the repair. He called my Insurance Company and told them that the repairs will be finished on Thursday, so my insurer ended the rental on that day. He called late Thursday and told me the repairs car not finished and car will be ready on following Monday and he will call my insurer to extend the rented vehicle till Monday. Enterprise car rental called me over the weekend looking for their vehicle and I told them that it has been extended till Monday but they were not aware of it. So I called my insurer and asked if Joe had update about the repairs and apparently he never called my insurer as he promised me to do so. I confirmed over the phone if my car was ready on Monday with Prestige Collision Center before going over there to pick up my car. After paying my balance I waited almost 45 minutes before they brought my car, they kept telling me that the battery has died and they are driving it around so it does not dies again. Finally when the car came in after a long wait, the repairs were not done and it was missing parts. Joe told me that the car is in drivable condition and that I should take the car and when the missing part will come he will call me to back in to replace it. I really do not understand the dishonesty on Prestige Collision behalf. They could have told me that car is not ready instead they kept lying to me every step along the way. Just got my car back from Prestige Collision Center after a severe accident. They are not the quickest repair facility but the quality of the finished product and cleanliness exceeded my expectations of a body shop. As a single woman, I needed someone to trust and Dave Delmonico, my service advisor went above and beyond and reassured me every step of the way. An automobile accident is not a pleasant experience to begin with, especially when it wasn't my fault. I definitely will recommend them to all my friends but hopefully they will not need to use them. I had a bumper collision. I took it to Prestige. I was worried because they seemed to be a little non-people friendly and hard to reach by telephone. my repair was suppose to take 3 days but ended up taking five days. However, Prestige charged me exactly what my insurance company estimated the car to cost to repair and not a penny more. Also they offered to deliver the car to my house which was very nice. once I received the car I couldn't believe what a great job they did in repainting my bumper. it looks as good or better than new and matches my car perfectly. Boy was I relieved. I especially commend their service advisor Joe Candela, who was very friendly and responsive to all my communications by email. read more
