Roger and his crew did a fantastic job. I asked several movers to help me estimate the size of pod I would need to complete my move. I had already packed 3/4 of one on my own and wanted to know how much more I needed. Roger replied quickly, came out and told me to get another large pod. He said that given the state of our preparations, the move would be quick as I had already wrapped a lot of stuff. After we scheduled the move, I got overwhelmed with wrapping and packing and Roger's guys did all that for me (of course it tool longer since I expanded the scope of work). He brought a second crew from another completed job and they worked late to get it all done. Unfortunately, we had underestimated the container size due to a lot more garage stuff than anticipated, but there again Roger was super helpful. His guys got a truck and moved the remainder of my stuff into storage. Fast forward three weeks and the pods arrive at our new house. Shortly after that Roger;s guys showed up with a truck and all my storage stuff. Once again, a second crew arrived a bit into the job (after they finished another job) and the work moved along quickly. Everything is in the new house. Nothing was broke or lost. I was very pleased with the crew. Everyone was polite, helpful and just generally great to work with. Roger and his crew saved me a lot of hassles by storing my excess stuff and taking on the wrap and prep work they were not really contracted to do. I have moved over 20 times, and without a doubt, Prestige was THE BEST experience I have ever had! I was moving from San Diego to Sarasota, FL, so it was really important to choose well. I got multiple estimates, Roger (the owner) was my last. Roger has a very professional and genuine persona. I could tell he was dedicated and had a lot of integrity. He went through my home & gave me his quote. I hired him on the spot. He was the only company that would give me a delivery date (others said it could be anywhere from 1-3 weeks and I would not know until the day of pick up!). Two weeks before my move, Roger and 2 employees came to wrap my art. I was really impressed. Moving day, his employees really took their time prepping furniture and loading. They also accommodated MY schedule!, arriving on our agreed date. Everything arrived the same as it left!...I have to admit, Roger and his 2 employees came. They were polite, yet really enjoyable to be with. Just so you know, for long distance moves, Roger does rent trucks, drops them off and flies back (smart!). Honestly, there is no way to accurately rate this company. This is one of those rare finds (in fact, part of me doesn't want to let you in on the secret!). I had several extremely heavy things to move - including out of my house, down hallways, up stairs, outside, in the heat, around obstacles, along narrow pathways... We are talking about big-ass items in hard to get to places that needed to be moved uphill. Then, they had to drive those items and place them at my new house. AND, they did it. With zero complaints. I dealt directly with Roger, he was very professional and thorough. He moved all our belongings from San Marcos to Omaha, NE, including 3 motorcycles. We knew we would be very close to a full truck, and sure enough we had a few things that didn't fit. He brought them about a week later on another trip he made to the area at no extra charge. Not a single thing was damaged or broken. Neil was his main guy and driver, he took a lot of care to make sure we were happy in the end. I am very impressed. This company was recommended by our new complex. Not only did they have the best rate (I checked with 9 other companies) they were available to come on short notice! The 2 guys they sent were on time, courteous, and extremely professional. One of the glass drawers of our dresser was cracked during transport but they had it replaced within a few days. It was wrapped well before ax I'm sure the dresser was just very delicate. The manager, Roger, was a breeze to work with and made everything flow smoothly. I highly recommend this company. These guys really got me out of a pickle. I fouled up by not signing the proposal so I called on moving day and asked Roger where everybody is. They told me they were at other jobs and did have our name but never heard back from us. Roger and his crew figured out a way to get the job done that day and didn't break a thing. We had to move that day as my wife had a surgery scheduled for the following morning and our old home was closing the following day.
