My property management hired this company to replace our roofs. The team of works they sent out for the job are highly unprofessional since the first day they were throwing their water bottles and energy drinks in my back yard throughout the day. When it came to the end of the first day for clean up not one of the employees asked for permission to enter my backyard. I have a dog. The next day when they returned the workers went directly in my backyard without asking again they could of let my dog out. At the end for clean up the workers entered my yard again without asking at one point the workers were climbing over my fence to enter other residents backyards. Now today they arrived went directly into my backyard placed equipment in my dogs bed and I seen they had some tools in the backyard at 8am I returned home at 4:30pm I just realized they plugged their power tools into my house where I have my deep freezer plugged in instead of the property's outlets now ill be paying for it on my electric bill ontop of my freezer turned off and now my food is defrosted. Every time I call the company office no one answers it rings to voicemail. Maybe this review will finally get the company's attention because I will not be the one responsible paying for the electricity they used without my permission!! read more

Our property manager suggested Prestige Roofing among three companies for quotes for a new roof at our Garden Grove rental home. The quote was very thorough and professional. I hired them not as the least expenseive but as the company I felt would deliver the best value, though they werent the highest bid either. The communication from the office and the field was quick and thorough using text, email and phone when necessary throughout the entire job. The roof was the orginal from the 50's and was in need of much more than could be seen from the exterior layers. The change order necessary to add more sheathing was very reasonable and timely. Pictures from before, during and after were provided by John and could show the detail and craftsmanship the crew put into their work. In fact, I actually showed the pictures to another roofing contractor in my area and he was very impressed with how Prestige replaced the entire rafter tail back into the wall as opposed to cutting and attaching at the face of the wall. Last year in November I noticed a group of duplexes being reroofed across the street from my residence. They looked like a large professional company. The work was quick and efficient. They made the small houses look great. When they were working on the houses owned by Meagher reality, my next door neighbor's roof began leaking. My neighbor was panicked. Her roof was leaking and her husband began to experience a medical emergency. She spoke to the men working on the houses across the street and asked them for help. They covered the house for them free of charge. She was told to taKe care of her husband and they would cover the roof and give her an estimate later. That is when I met Lupe Vasquez. He was the foreman on site. While on my neighbors roof he offered to look at my roof and give me an estimate too. I said, "sure, why not"? I really enjoyed the process of working with John and Lupe. They actually made it fun and efficient. We removed a very ugly red lightweight concrete tile and replaced it with Presidential TL. We found out we had a leak during the heavy rains in March 2023. I scheduled an appointment with Prestige Roofing to get a quote. You can do it on their website, and you'll get an email of your appointment and a reminder. I had to make a schedule change and you can do that on their website also. Amazing. I called a few other places first and either they never called back, or had no openings. John came on time (Friday), climbed up to the roof, took pictures & showed us the problems. This is an update on a repair from 2 years ago. After a heavy rain my roof started leaking in the same spot that was repaired just 2 years prior by Prestige Roofing. It was a little after the 2 year warranty period but I asked if they can at least take a look to see why it was leaking in the same spot. They found a crack in the flashing and they said the repair would be covered. And they also replaced the underlayment. It is very rare these days to find an honest company who stands by their work. Prestige Roofing is an excellent roofing company!!! My single family home is in La Habra city and my roof size is about 3,900 sq ft. John Arellano spent a great deal of time answering my inquiries during initial bidding and submitted an honest estimate detailing what shingles reroofing work to be performed including replacement woods pricing. For shingles reroofing, customers can choose between GAF, Owens Corning or CertainTeed products and maybe others. Their bid for Owens Corning product was the most detailed and it beated out some of best Angie's List and Home Advisor top rated roofing/construction companies. It was a great working relationship with Prestige Roofing workers during reroofing. Lupe, Peter, Edwin, Mikey and others really took care of my concerns and questions very well, and fixed all areas as expected and beyond. I have went up to view their work on roof - they do not take short cuts and they fixed issues like a sagging roof area near chimney and house front that were not fixed right previously long ago. This is a CRACK crew who knows roofing! I am very happy with the results with city inspector signing off the work promptly during and completion of reroofing. Lupe and the crews really did a marvelous/fantastic job of getting all wood problems (sagging roof) fixed, sealed flashings around chimney and exposed open corners sealed, created diversion channel for rain water runoff where appropriate and re-painted new wood trims to match house colors. Prestige Roofing really came through for us. We had a minor roof leak due to the recent rain and also discovered both of our 30 year old skylights had large cracks, and needed to be replaced. As this is a busy season for roof repairs, we could not find a company that was able to inspect our roof on short notice. First had an estimate with John Arellano who is the contractor. And Lupe was the Project Manager for the crew and who was on site every day during the project. We had a total re-roof done which means our attic and garage were totally exposed. We were well prepared in advance as far a removing everything from the attic and covering everything in the garage with plastic, but expect a lot of dirt. Crew cleaned up everyday before they left the site. Crew replaced fascia and shiplap due to water damage. We were very satisfied with the job, but like any other huge repair, there were some glitches but nothing that couldn't be easily resolved. Great pictures of before and after on company's website. I just had my broken tiles replaced by Prestige Roofing and they did a wonderful job. John came to assess my roof and quoted me with a great deal than the other roofing company. I called on Monday and made an appointment for Saturday. I told them that I needed 15 broken tiles replaced. They asked for my email, for an estimate. Someone came to my house and sent a text saying that I need 15 tiles replaced...but no amount to be charged. I called asking how much. I got another text asking if I would supply the tiles. ??? I said no. Never got the estimate and never heard back. Avoid...unless this is what you're looking for. read more

Prestige Roofing did an amazing job re-roofing our house. We had an old Cal shake roof, so when it started leaking, we had to re-roof because repair was not an option. For our new roof, we decided we wanted architectural composition shingles. We got bids from 4-5 roofing companies but admittedly were surprised by how wide-ranging the estimates were. Our last bid was from Prestige Roofing, and John Arellano (owner) not only impressed us with his knowledge, recommendations, but his pricing was so competitive that we were able to get the top-of-the line Presidential triple-layer (TL) Solaris shingles with ridge venting--while still being able stay within our budget! During the entire process, I emailed John quite a bit as questions came up, and he always responded thoroughly and in a timely manner, and I really appreciated that. Although we were initially scheduled for late-March, John pleasantly surprised us by moving the start date earlier by almost one month. With rain forecasted for Tuesday night, we were nervous about starting the re-roofing on Monday, but John reassured us our house would be watertight before the rain came. Not only did he deliver on his promise, his crew actually FINISHED tearing off the old roof, installing plywood deck, and laying the new roof in two days. Sure enough, it rained overnight and even hailed Wednesday morning. Lupe, the foreman, was fantastic at making sure the job was done right and addressing our questions. The crew was courteous and professional, making sure everything was cleaned up daily. Needless to say, we love our new roof! The shingles themselves have a lifetime warranty and are rated to last 50 years, and Prestige gives a 13-year workmanship warranty (longer than the 7-10 years offered in our other bids). As an added perk, the company provided before-and-after drone shots (and video) of our roof, which is such a thoughtful touch, because of course the roof is the one part of the house I can't easily take pictures of from the street!
