Since they relocated to Elkridge and are now Prestige Wheel House the service has gone down. The wait times are long and they are unable to fulfill their appointments. If you have read this far this is why. 1. I had an 11:30am appointment and arrived at 11 to complete the paperwork. I was told it would be a 2 hour wait from the front desk attendant who was pleasant. 2. At 1pm I inquired how much longer it would be since my car was still sitting out front. The front desk attendant said another hour. At that I was offered a discount. 3. At 1:30 when my car still had not been taken back the desk attendant said I can not get your car done before 2pm. At which time she gave me my keys. 4. I was only there 2 hours however there we 2 guys before me that were there much longer. I would not use their service as the wait times are long and their communication as to delays are poor. read more

I had a terrible experience with PWH. I ordered Vossen wheels from a local place in Sterling. This place source Vossen wheels through PWH since they are Vossen distributor. The whole experience was vague and painful. Here is what happened: - Order arrived three weeks late. No one was following up from PWH except the guy who I placed the order with. - FedEx delivered the wheels package to PWH location, and no one picked it up. We had to notify them to receive the package, and they did two days later. - PWH sent the wheels mounted without lug nuts!!! We had to order lug nuts from Vossen. My car literally was sitting on jack for a couple of days in the process. - Once the installation completed, I found out that the TPMs were not installed !! They completely forgot to include TPMs even though I paid for them. Now, I am trying to figure out how to get a refund from PWH. This is by far, one of the worst experience I had with anyone in the auto industry around the area. Not recommended at all !! read more

Here is what they we're supposed to do A) mount & balance (nope never got done 160$) B)alignment (nope pulls to the right 150$) C)sold me new TPMS SENORS (3out of 4 worked 200$) D)leveling kit (installed left fender liners loose ) WAIT ! WAIT ! WAIT! Gets better I took it back for a second time ! They had car 2 more days Here what they did .......... NOTHING ! So a total of 5 days of my truck off the road . So on 10-3-18 Night owner Bryan or Brian calls "I got you I will fix everything, no worries " 10-4-18 no one calls , I call the shop owner calls again in 10-4-18 late afternoon "take it to radial tire, they should be able to do it " I go to radial today 10-5-18 , I called prestige wheel house , they had no clue . So paid 100$ to have 4 wheels road forced and balanced ! After giving them chance to pay ! Terrible customer service ! Went in to view this set of used wheels. Was told, no bends or cracks. When I got there I examined the set and found bends quick, no big deal because I just won't buy them. They said they would fix it (Amongst the employees) Later I found out my friend bought the set, I assumed they fixed it before selling. Nope, the bends were still there. The worst experience every - for a company to be in the service industry to make money ... this is the worst service I have every experience in my life thus far. Communication with the owner is by far crap! I wasn't able to view my goods prior to install - then it took weeks to get it installed, only to have 1 wheel severely damage, no center caps, & the install completely wrong that cause warning lights to stay on. This has not been corrected yet - LAWSUIT !!!! Maryland wheel enthusiast - stay far away from this distributor .. I mean far away... I dropped my car off at 0800 to get ONE TIRE replaced. When I returned at 1330, my car was still on a jack with no tire on. Not to mention the 2.5 hours I spent here yesterday for them to tell me they didn't have the tire I needed and that they would certainly have it today. read more

Sorry, another edit, because theres always stuff I find about this place that makes it so much worse and should not even be in business. I'm enroute to GA from VA and stopped in SC to visit a buddy and he needed a jack and we came to conclusion that Prestige forgot to put back my car jack. And when it came time to roll my fenders, my buddy realized that they had forgotten to secure the brake line down to the driver side front strut. Luckily my friend had a bolt to secure it but that could've ended badly. Not sure how a place like this is truly in business and hope no one has to go through this. read more

This review is based solely on what didn't happen today and I will update Friday when I go back . Got a referral from my friend , Will and called on Monday 4/16/18 spoke to Jesse, really nice guy who explained the process , told me they were open all day after 11:00am . I booked an appointment for Wednesday @ 1:00pm for tinting on my Dodge Charger . Arrived @12:55pm and spoke to a really nice guy , reviewed cost and level of tint , said it would take 1.5 hours so I walked a half a mile up the street to get lunch and wait . I walked back around 2:10pm and saw my car was not touched . The girl at the desk said she just returned and didn't know anything. I asked for the guy to come out and bring my keys as I couldn't wait around another hour and a half . Total bummer . He said they over booked , apologized, said he would upgrade to the next level of " tint " for the same price . Sooooo I'll take Friday morning off to bring my car back ( I live in Bowie 26 miles away ) and give them another try . I'll update my review after . Wish me luck !! read more

I have had my last 3 cars modified by this shop. Whether it's tint, wheels, or suspension, I have complete faith the job will get done right. I know they do more but I've only had this work done so that's all I can speak on. Byron is a personable guy that is super easy to talk to. Joe knows his stuff and gets the job done in a timely manner. The rest of the staff is capable and friendly. prestige wheel house review wheel painting: absolutely horrible experience. I came here to get my front windows tinted and my wheels painted. they subbed out the wheel painting work to another business and that was literally the only thing that went well with this experience... The part that they had nothing to do with. if you are trying to get your wheels painted I suggest going directly to the company that they hired to do mine: Bmore Kreative - (410)220-3832 window tinting: They also tinted my Front windows and the tints had bubbles in them and they had to redo them not 1, not 2, 3 times. That means I ended up having to wait a total of 6/7 days to let "the tints dry" only to see bubbles again. Then they finally said that my car is so "special" that they couldn't put tints on it. My car is a Porsche Cayenne SUV... 2014... Nothing special. i've seen plenty tinted before. This shop is unprofessional and employs people who are friends of family and neighbors of the owner who are not truly skilled at the craft and it shows. after three weeks of this back-and-forth with these tints and me having to drive an hour to Elkridge Maryland and having to wait two or three days before rolling the windows down after each tinting attempt that ultimately failed, I still have no tints on my windows. Do NOT get your windows tinted here. (see attached picture of the horrible tint job done - this was along the full border of the driver side window....after their second attempt at tinting. car detailing: they claimed to detail my car "at a discount" but really ended up charging me full price for the detail on the invoice and did a horrible job. They left spots from whatever chemicals they used all on the trunk cover and on other parts of the interior. I had to get the color re-detailed. on top of that there was still pet hair in the car (used car i just bought - i don't have a pet) after their $200 "detail". do NOT get your car detailed here. read more

One of the best custom car shops in MD hands down. Prestige did a tune up on my 2015 Dodge Charger and did a great job. Not only was the service fast, but the owner called me two hours after I drove off with my car to make sure the car was running properly. The technicians are awesome and personable along with the receptionists. This is a 5 star company that not only does custom jobs for cars (remake engines, rims etc), they also do perform basic car work such as tint, brakes, tune ups, and oil changes. Very nice facility with a tv and refreshments in the waiting area. I will definitely be going back! read more

IF I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS I WOULD. The bad: -ABSOLUTELY THE WORST IN COMMUNICATION -took 3 months to do a simple wood trunk install and STILL not done. -they screwed up my original tank trying to powder coat and also a second tank (I don't know how) -get to the shop and Byron had the installer install the wood trunk setup with his/their vision and not even saying a word about changing my vision around -they've re-done the install but still not exactly how I wanted it but whatever, I was already done with them and wanted my car back. -STILL the tank have not been powder coated -bring my car home, and they screwed up my factory car alarm. - the next day my compressor goes bad. -keep in mind I've been constantly calling them with absolutely no response from Byron. His people are apologizing and trying to get a hold of the installer and Byron but no word. You are lucky to catch him on a call. - still no word on when they will fix it -I took my powder coated tank and going somewhere else. -the hardlines also don't match the new tank so those hardlines are pretty much trash. -I wasted so much time and money on these people so I advise you NOT TO GO TO THEM. Worst experience ever. No customer service, incompetent staff, and the owner Byron Mapp will lie to your face. Suspension and wheels took almost two weeks and they installed the suspension wrong. Tech had no idea it was wrong. Byron said he would compensate for the trouble but never did. Called back and then said they didn't install it wrong that the directions were wrong so not their fault.
