Overly expensive. Quick with the coffees. I was able to sit down and enjoy my quick small meal.

Pret a Manger is so convenient when you need a quick, healthy snack and coffee. I wish Hawaii had a location here. During our visit to NY we visited several locations. I like their ginger and cayenne shots. Especially while traveling and feeling a little under the weather, these shots make me feel a little better. My espresso always tastes good and I receive satisfactory customer service. I didn't buy any food items this time but they have a selection of sandwiches, salads, soups and other items. The tables were clean and so were the restrooms. There was an outlet to plug into which is great. No complaints. And I would recommend coming here or to any Pret A Manger location.

Pret a Manger is a brand which I am familiar with as they dominate London with 67% of their stores in the British capital with a good amount of branches elsewhere in the UK, so I was pretty pleased to see them expand across the pond to the United States - this branch is at the beginning of Park Avenue, NYC. The store is pretty spacious and has a good selection of fresh food and drinks, which they prepare in-store daily including a good gluten-free selection too - they even had Chipolte boxes here, some of them being gluten-free which I found confusing as they were only a few stores down themselves and not all Pret locations in NY have them. They did have a good selection of soups - I went for the Pumpkin Bisque which is one of their two seasonal soups right now as well as a Turkey Chill which sounded unappetising to me - unlike the UK they seem to do the same soups every-day rather than doing a soup of the day based on multiple visits to stores. My soup tasted quite good - I would say it was rather overpriced for a small soup as it didn't fill me up - it ended up costing $5.43 which would have got you a full "large" soup in the UK with a charitable donation, and change - so this does need a review. The staff seemed friendly enough and there was ample seating - the latter seems to be impossible to find in New York coffee shops so that's a bonus too. One of my favourite Pret's in the city in terms of selection and food quality to warrant four-stars!

I like Pret a Manger. I can't help it. Good selection of freshly made salads, sandwiches, and soups at a fair price for this area. This location close to my office opened up a few months ago and today was my first visit there. Some of my favs are the chicken balsamic sandwich with avocado, the chicken ceasar salad with some balsamic dressing, and the moroccan lentil soup. I like the bread you get with the soup too. Good quality ingredients, fresh and tasty. Portion sizes are just right so I don't feel like a total slug when I finish lunch and have to go back to work. This location is on the smaller side so there is a limited amount of seating at small circular tables. Very clean and bright. Friendly staff and counter people too.

I've heard a lot about this chain, esp in London. I've had it there and was surprised to see it in NYC. Stopped here with my boyfriend on our weekend getaway. This particular location was satisfactory. The staff was friendly and sufficient. The manager knew what he was doing. Place is clean, up to date and serves fresh food.

Upon arrival we noticed the difference in crowds. Not as busy and packed sidewalks. Also it was a lot cleaner than Chinatown. Since we just ate at C-Town, it was time to find a good dessert place in K-Town. So we walked and we walked until I saw a banner sign showing shaved ice desserts. Then I noticed the name of the business is Grace Street. How fitting, because that is my wife's name. So we went in and what caught my eye was a mango shaved ice with mangoes, mochi, strawberries, and condensed milk, however I was over ruled by my wife and we went with the black sesame and mochi and condensed milk. It also had red bean, but that had to be on the side, since that gives me gout. Such nice staff taking orders and we went into the dining area to find a seat. What a large spacious area with many tables. Our order came out and it looked so good. The black sesame shaved ice or snow as it's also referred to as, was perfectly sweetened by the condensed milk and the chewy mochi. Definitely cleaned my pallet from our Chinese lunch and it helped cool me down from the New York heat. We got water, but there was no ice offered, so I asked one of the workers and he was kind enough to get me some. We are through that dessert like, if we didn't finish it fast, it was going to melt. We did not give it a chance to melt one bit. The staff here are efficient, as they saw we were done, they asked to clear our dessert bowl away. It was a nice experience even if it was just dessert. They definitely had more dessert options to offer, but i

The generous serving had creamy, silky layers and was easily enough for the two of us to share. Sweet, light, and refreshing. Plenty of seating, generous portions, and a stop here never disappoints! Located on 32nd St, between Broadway & 5th Ave Train: 34 St-Herald Sq (N/Q/R/W); also an easy walk from Penn Station. Overall, a great casual dessert stop after exploring K-Town, Midtown or nearby Chelsea.

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.
