I had my amazing ice coffee with almond milk perfectttttttttt for the summer oh I mean all year long yessss !!!!!!!!

Bakery selection

This particular Paris is larger than you think - with three stories of seating. It's different than their other places, as here the staff grabs your treats as opposed to you grabbing a tray and picking out your own food. I also think that they did not have every bakery item I've seen at other Paris Baguettes. I think they were more limited as to their bakery items. This restaurant is relatively clean and the staff is very friendly and attentive. There are bathrooms in the back that are clean enough for Manhattan. The coffee is consistently great! Today I tried the salted butter twist roll. Holy cow! It's like this perfect buttered roll with no butter on top, as it's baked inside. It's light and fluffy and delicious. Can't wait to get another one!

Matcha (it's SWEET!)

Paris Baguette is a lovely place for a pastry! They have a wide assortment of croissants, donuts, and cakes. We came in for coffee and matcha but ended up also getting a few pastries. Coffee and snacks were great!! We asked if the matcha latte was sweetened and the cashier said no, but it was VERY SWEET. So that was sort of gross and unexpected. But I'll still give 5 stars for the excellent coffee and filled croissants.

Let's just compare my review to how some baguettes taste: toasted and fresh, toasted, crisp fresh and chewy or toasted and DRY. This location falls under DRY.. VERY DRY. Additionally, one can't judge a book by its cover. Here, looks are deceiving.. Let's start out with pleasantries shall we? First, the location is next to sone restaurants thus it should be queen of the neighborhood, after all there is Starbucks but PB offers so much more Second, the offerings are great, baguettes, beautifully prepared cakes, sandwiches, pastries and a nice selection of to go treats. The beverage options are plentiful. Third, very spacious and has an upstairs with additional seating and very clean environment. So, where is the disconnect? The SERVICE.. I'm unsure if the employee was having g a bad day but her demeanor was not polite. I ordered a Chai and treat. She did not make eye contact whatsoever. I did give her a chance to redeem herself when I asked the code for bathroom entry, same demeanor. Here's where it's at, no service, no smile, no small talk? How about Hello? How is your day going? If one can't perfect that, then there is no use for me to patronize your establishment. Presentation isn't everything... Paris Baguette 888 Tenth Avenue

It is so hard to find study spots in New York! This Paris B has an upstairs that had really good seating! I enjoy their drinks and pastry and it wasn't too crowded which is a plus! They have a bathroom which is also a bonus! Overall great vibes and perfect for doing work or reading!

Very convenient location for where we were going. Super clean and big bakery. This red velvet cake was the best cake we've ever had from them and we've had a lot of Paris Baguette cakes.

This bakery caught our attention every time we passed by since it was near our hotel. It looks super charming and clean from the outside, so we finally decided to check it out. Once inside, the place smells amazing, and it has a posh Parisian vibe going on, which immediately sets the mood. We grabbed some cream puffs as a snack to enjoy back at the hotel, and they were delicious! A bit on the pricy side, but honestly, what isn't these days? It was our first time trying this spot, and we were happy with the experience. The service was solid, and the staff behind the counter were very accommodating. Even though it was just a quick stop, this bakery left a great impression on us. The cream puffs were fantastic, and the wonderful service made it even better. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

I have always like the baked stuff at Paris Baguette when I was living in Asia. One thing I miss is the pudding. Unfortunately I didn't see any at this store. The products were not placed properly and so I got the wrong stuff. I wanted the mini garlic croissant and somehow what I ended up with was the mini cream cheese pastry. I only noticed the mistake when I got back and wondered why there was filling in it. I had to check my pictures to realize they were mixed up in the pile. I also bought the sugar mocha donut and that was delicious! I had always wanted to try it but didn't get the chance till now. It was so soft with a stretchy texture because mochi. Way better than expected as sometimes mochi can be a bit hard but this was like biting into clouds. There is a second level here for more seating. I also like how you can watch the bakers through the glass window to see them make magic. Good place for coffee or tea with baked stuff or sandwiches.

Paris Baguette is a chain bakery. I wanted to see if there was a difference between the California and New York locations and have to admit that the New York one was way more impressive in terms of selections. For my visit, I ordered the Raspberry Almond Croissant and a Cappuccino. The croissant was so good, and also very messy! The cappuccino was good as well. This was a very nice way to start my day in Manhattan! The service was quick, my cappuccino was ready in a matter of minutes. The bakery is very clean and spacious, with a good number of tables for sitting down to enjoy your treats.

I absolutely love Paris Baguette. A must visit got me every time I'm in NYC. Not only do they have the best pastries, but one of the best Cold Brews I've had. You also have the option for something sweet or savory. They never disappoint and they're located in different areas of the city. My first time to a Paris Baguette was in Los Angeles, but that place can't begin to compare to these NYC locations. Their buns with sausages and hot dogs are to die for. Also recommend the donut twist. This location has plenty of seating, with some downstairs and more on the second level.

I usually go to the 8th Ave location but my friend goes to John Jay and recommended we go to this one. The location itself is huge - there is so much indoor dining! They even have an upstairs! They have savory and sweet options. I went with a regular iced latte and couldn't stop myself from trying the spooky donut! The staff was super sweet. Line went fast & we were in & out in 5 minutes. Will definitely make this my go to Paris now!

Tuna sandwich with posh cup of tea!

Because I was in Paris, France, last month, I was seduced by this outpost for a quick dejeuner and voila! I was transported by the high quality of the baguette and posh cup of tea on a winter's day. Super quick service, tables are plentiful and well spaced, and wiped down. The baked goods look amazing and I am already dreaming of the pigs in blanket -- a la prochaine!

WARNING! CAKE was AWFUL! FELL APART!…read more I ordered a cake from a professional baker (Soma cakes) a few years ago that was beautifully made but was a bit bland, so I decided to look for a different baker. I found BakeStreet online, and I chose a baker, only to find out these are not "professional" bakers but HOME BAKERS! I didn't realize they employ home bakers until I asked my baker for the address. The NYC address they use for their business is NOT a real bakery! I thought these were professional bakers working out of a bakery. I found this part to be very misleading and only found out after I selected my baker and paid a deposit. My baker was 30 minutes from the city by car. I had made a deposit, and even though my intuition told me to back out, I decided to take a chance based on her reviews. I'm really curious if the reviews for the bakers are from real customers. Makes you wonder. You have to realize these cakes are being made in their homes! There are no sanitary rules that you know are being observed. My cake was placed in a cardboard box, and although it didn't really look like what I wanted, and the tassel, lettering, and diploma looked amateurish, what can a customer do after they paid for the cake and need it for a special occasion. Seriously, this is a great way to get ripped off! Once we got home and took the cake out of the box, it was falling apart, and the company had the nerve to tell us it was made properly! This cake was worth $100 maybe $150 but NOT almost $400. A cake that is baked properly will not fall apart after a 15 minute car ride! At the time that I picked up the cake, I told her I could hold it in my lap, but she said it wasn't necessary and placed the cake in the car. My Soma Cake that lasted an hour in the car to a different location never fell apart! The company had the nerve to offer me a $50 credit for a future cake that I would NEVER purchase! Why would I purchase another cake from a home baker? Poor customer service! They can enjoy my money! What a RIP-OFF! If a cake cannot make it in 15 minutes from pick-up to your location, there is something wrong with the cake! If you want to have a cake beautifully made, use Soma Cakes but don't get the red velvet. She is very talented. Her cake looked so realistic and we received a lot of compliments, but unfortunately it was bland, but it was a lot cheaper than what this company charged me, or you can just make your own cake. I'm sure it will be better than the disaster I received! Also, PLEASE do your research on this company. They have bad reviews on TrustPilot! If you want an okay cake, order from here. If you want a cake for a really special occasion, please go somewhere else. Find a place with an actual bakery and professional bakers. You will pay the same amount but get better results and not have to deal with their awful customer service!

REVIEW UPDATE: As a result of my feedback, GB has changed…read moretheir policy and is now less rigid about menu alignments and dessert offerings. I was not impressed with the response posted here, but about a day later, I got a personal response via email from a their Director of Guest Relations and they resolved my grievance in a way that was more than satisfactory to me. So I have boosted the review to 4 stars, as the food was really excellent, and some of the best we had during French Restaurant Week. In the opinion of my friend and I, it was second only to La Tete D'Or, and we enjoyed Grand Brasserie far more than we did Cafe Boulud. Cafe Boulud left us hungry and poor. Grand Brasserie left us filled and with some money to spare. Given how management reached out via email to resolve the issue I did have, I would whole-heartedly recommend Grand Brasserie to anyone who wants great food in a rather unique setting. ORIGINAL REVIEW (PLEASE NOTE: GB has since changed their policy and desserts are now available a la carte, even if they are featured on a prix fixe menu): Grand Brasserie provides a one of a kind historic setting as a backdrop for outstanding cuisine. Our food was outstanding. However the crux of my problem was around the fact that we attended for French Restaurant Week, which featured it's on separate menu. While the choices were outstanding, you had to choose two courses between appetizer, entrée and dessert. There was a dessert I had wanted to try, the Paris Brest, but ordered an appetizer and entrée figuring we could pay for the dessert separately. However the dessert was not on the regular dessert menu, so our request was refused. Moreover, I had ordered as an appetizer the Veloutè de Champignons which was listed verbatim as: Truffle Mushrooms, Chive Cream, Toasted Brioche. However it failed to mention the soup was served cold. Not being familiar with French cuisine and it being FRW, which should be assumed to attract folks unfamiliar with French cuisine, and introduce them to it, the menu should have indicated that it was served cold. I never would have ordered it had it been listed as served cold. I'd have shared an app with my dining companion and then shared the Paris Brest. Moreover, an idiosyncrasy of a promotional menu and a rigidly programmed POS (Point of Sale... quell your foul mind ) system should not interfere with customer satisfaction at a restaurant that is otherwise outstanding quality.
