Not my go to Pret location but was close by and decided to give them a try. Wasn't busy at all. The service was good. There's plenty of seating. I was able to use my app with no issues. My latte was well made. It's a bit of the way but not a bad visit!

My favorite item from this restaurant is the spice chicken Cesar wrap, and I was delighted to see that they were still open at 5pm. I had actually been thinking about getting a wrap from here since lunchtime, which I skipped unfortunately. Their wraps have just the right amount of ingredients, and I think the Cesar dressing makes all the difference. I've had a couple of their other sandwiches, and every one of them is made with great care. Their lattes and capuchino drinks are also very good, and I have grown to like the vanilla capuchino. Ialso like this restaurant in particular because of it's simple and welcoming ambiance. I've probably been to this store half a dozen times this year, and the folks who work here have always been kind and respectful.

Beware! I was charged for the free soup topper today. The check out lady did not warn me that soup toppers were now no longer complementary.

On our walk towards a meuseum this was a nice stop to get some coffee as well as use super clean restrooms . Polite employee it's just close to 6 pm the were out of Mochas so I had a latte. Right in a trafficked location I was super impressed .

Mediocre prepared food at steep prices with crappy service. Everything here is prepared - nothing is made to order and looks stale - have no idea how long the food has been sitting out for. I gave the food the benefit of doubt and tried the hot falafel sandwich and the cold roasted corn and kale wrap. I have no idea how long the falafel sandwich was sitting in the heated counter, the tortilla was hard as a rock. The sandwich wasn't bad, I like the marinara and feta cheese - a weird combination, but tasty. It has 700 calories. The corn and kale wrap was less caloric, but tasted okay, it was kinda bland. Paying over $10 for a sandwich/wrap- I would expect a fresh sandwich. I like how Aubon Pain has both the option for to-go and custom sandwiches/wraps. Pret a Manager would do better adapting that model. The service is quite poor at this location. They want to complete your order as food as possible - it's like they are competing in a contest - who can get rid of the customer the fastest. Pret is also very stingy as it provides only 2 napkins per customer like Subway. For some messy sandwiches, I need at least 3 napkins - but wait, I would have to talk to the cashier and ask for more. Never mind - I'll just go to the dirty bathroom and wash my hands. Overall, I don't recommend Pret to anyone - go to Potbelly's, Aubon Pain, or even Subway for a cheaper, fresher, better sandwich.

They've reopened, yeah. And food is as fresh as ever. Had a delicious avocado pine nut wrap with heavenly rosemary olive oil potato chips, decaf coffee and a croissant. Service is very friendly! And decaf coffee was fresh. Not old and burnt. And you can dine indoors. Covid precautions in effect are good. They close at 3pm so get there before then

Good smallish coffee bar, with lively vibe in Downtown DC near Warner and National Theaters. This Pret A Manger chain offers hot soups, coffee , danish and sandwiches for a quick bite or those needing wifi for a couple of hours. Lattes are very well made, and they offer soy or almond milk in addition to their organic skim, whole and full cream offerings. Premade sandwiches and salads round out a competent set of offerings, with lots of quick bites for almost every need. Seating and tables available from one to ten. Make sure to ask for bathroom access code of wifi code with your order.

I tend to like sugar (too much) but try to drink black sometimes to try to appreciate the actual coffee flavor and for health reasons. Nice way to hydrate in a fancy way. Art work doesn't typically grab me but this art work did. If I had money, time, and comfortable accessibility to purchase, I would. I am sure I could order online and have shipped but I like to avoid shipping costs if I can. The realism and detail grab me in a way I like. The DC tunnel views that continue to beautify DC's respectable metro system show you that Jimmy is truly a local DC artist. It is reminiscent for me of Juniper Lane's music album cover Tightrope. I didn't notice this until after the fact but apparently when you buy art directly from here you get 15% of your purchase for more coffee here too. Wow. Why the missing star? This is kinda picky but if I wasn't looking or a foreigner, I could've accidentally added hand sanitizer to my coffee and well that's a big no no. Granted the bottle is labeled but I am not a fan of this being in the same area as the coffee add-ons. I know spacing is tight and maybe someone moved this bottle in this area but I don't get that sense and just think it's not a good setup. If this place wanted to expand , I think finding good NYC locations would be optimal as well. I am unsure if Philly would be good or not as an additional location as a coffee culture crowd. Of course I would still come back. It was worth the 15 min walk from the convention center in this hot August weather.

I'm in search of the best croissant in DC, so I regret not getting the regular croissant on this visit, but the chocolate croissant gave me an idea of what to expect. Buttery, flaky, crispy, with just the perfect amount of sweetness. The typical chocolate croissant was my personal favorite. When we asked what the most popular items were, we were surprised it wasn't the more classic bakery items, but we enjoyed what we tried. We want to go back soon to try some other items as well. As someone who works in the industry and is very familiar with coffee and coffee shops, I was genuinely shocked by how rude and unprofessional the staff was. I ordered a house latte with an extra double shot, which made it a quad shot, and I also paid for extra ice and requested that it be served in a large cup. It wasn't a complicated order. When I saw a drink come up, I politely asked, "Is that mine by any chance?" The barista immediately told me to "hush" and said, "I'm not talking to you." I found that incredibly disrespectful and completely unacceptable. When my drink was finally handed to me, I simply asked if the quad shot had been added since I had paid extra for it. Instead of answering my question, the barista ignored me entirely, and another employee had to respond. The employee, Taleisha Young, who was wearing glasses, was especially rude throughout the interaction. No customer should be spoken to that way, especially when they're simply asking about an order they paid extra to customize. Customer service and professionalism should be a priority, and this experience fell far below that standard. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, and I will be sharing my experience on other review platforms as well. I hope management addresses the behavior of its staff so other customers don't have a similar experience.
