One of my go-to's in the area if I'm craving fried chicken. With the expansion of their menu, I can now order chicken tenders and nuggets depending on my appetite and how "healthy" I want to feel. I do wish they didn't charge for every little sauce you'd get, especially when ordering fries. Otherwise, this location is solid and consistent!

This is one of the three pieces of chicken in the chicken tenders meal.

The service and staff at this Pretty Bird is amazing! It has the huge servings we have come to expect from Pretty Bird. The chicken is juicy and the spice is perfect every time! They offer a variety of sauce for every taste. Today when we came in they were trying to fill a HUGE door dash order. We could see they were super busy, but that did not reflect in the friendliness of the staff, nor in the preperation of our food. They even included an extra chicken tender in our order to make up for the wait (which did nit exist). I did not see that coming. If you want AMAZING spicy chicken, paired with FANTASTIC service and a sincere friendly smile, this is your spot!

I wish I could give this a better rating. The team is efficient and friendly and the space is clean. But this was the second visit and both of us in our party got food poisoning. The first visit a year ago wasn't particularly memorable, I remember not loving the seasoning on the chicken tender that much and the corn being pretty meh for what I paid for it, but it had been a while and a crispy chicken sandwich sounded good. The chicken itself again was really subpar and just not a fan of the seasoning, but in the sandwich it was alright - I like the brioche and the pickled veggies. I got the sandwich and my friend got tenders and fries. He could only stomach half a tender and really didn't enjoy the seasoning. We both got food poisoning. I tried to give this location a call and give them a heads up they have a bad batch but they don't have a phone number at all, looked for several minutes, and I'm not driving an hour round trip for that.

I've tried the Pretty Bird on 700 E and 2100 S before. It's definitely a busier location, but it also could have been just the time of day we were at this particular location. Although they did have several takeout orders while we were dining. Love the decor design in this location. It was also quite clean in the dining area and restrooms as well. Always a plus. The food was consistent with the other location. Made to order. Piping hot when delivered to our table. Juicy, fried chicken. Topped with pickles and shredded pickled cabbage. I ordered spicy this time and the dry rub spice coating was a little different for me. I didn't hate it, but I prefer the regular chicken sandwich. In love with their ranch recipe. I could drink that stuff lol. It was my cousins first visit to Pretty Bird. She loved it and so do I. Would like to revisit and try their chili garlic nuggets. They looked and sounded delicious.

I would say the hype is real. The sandwich is huge, I wouldn't bother getting fries unless you are planning on sharing. The chicken is cooked well, juicy and crispy (I will mention it is not white meat. Im fine with that but just in case). The coleslaw, pickles and bread were great. I got mild because I wasn't sure, but I wish I had gotten the medium. Even though I ordered it to go, the person behind the counter was super nice and attentive. If ever around and craving a good fried chicken sandwich, I would definitely keep this in mind!

Did a medium pickup order to try a handful of items. Got the: Chili garlic sauce cutlet 10 piece garlic nuggets 5 piece jumbo nuggets Fried chicken sandwich mild And fries They did a great job with the order. I don't know why I always expect something to go wrong with takeout orders, but they executed it very nicely. Everything was fresh and crisp and we loved it all! Back in the day, I used to order their chicken sandwich extra spicy and it was delicious but would destroy me. The mild was perfect. I would order every item again. Yum

FANTASTIC. That's it. That's the review. The food is fantastic. Go for it, you won't regret it. The chicken is juicy and delicious. I probably could have gone one level up in spice than I thought I could handle. The fries were crispy and flavorful. The corn esquites was super yummy, we loved it! The menu is simple but they nailed it. Seriously, SO GOOD. Great customer service, too.

Pretty Bird has been on my list for awhile and we finally were able to check it out for a late lunch. You can order online for takeout or via the kiosks inside if you plan to dine in. Ordering on the kiosk was easy, you grab a number and they bring your food out to you when it's ready. Our food was ready pretty quickly. I tried the Fried Chicken Sando combo with mild spice and my partner got a three tender combo with no spice. Both combos came with a side and a drink. The sandwich was huge and I enjoyed the spice flavor (even though I'm a wimp and only got mild). The pretty bird sauce was also good. Fries were crispy and you get a large portion. The interior was clean, as were the bathrooms, and we enjoyed our meal! I will say the price is a little steep (about $20 per combo after tax) for fast casual, but the quality was there so that's fair.

Have driven by this place a few times and always wanted to try it. Looked up their chicken sandwiches and they looked really good. The price for the sandwich alone was over $14 and the combo was almost $18. Hubby and I decided that was just too much, but I could not stop thinking about the sandwich so told him we're going... Next time I'm trusting the first instinct and not going. First, with tax $20 per person is a lot for a sandwich and fries and a drink. Second, they don't sell anything that has fish in it but the first bite tasted like what fish smells like. My brain says they are using fish seasoning on chicken but I don't know, I just know it was fishy and my tummy was not pleased. So yeah this place is a no for me. They get two stars because the workers are super friendly and hard working, the place is clean, the food came out super fast and the fries are good. But I won't be back.

We were out near this Midvale location the other day. It's just south off the 215 freeway on Union Park Ave. It's in the big Walmart shopping center. WE pull in and there easy parking. The line isn't too long as we go inside. Inside is way cooler temp wise than eating in the Suburban. Plus you get all the drink refills you want. This visit I got it in my mind to try something different other than my normal Double Double. I ordered a "3X3" animal style extra grilled onions and put the lettuce and tomato on the side. I never had a 3x3 before and wanted to see it it was that much better than a regular Double Double. It was only like $1.70 I think more. One other guy on my crew did the same. I asked for the lettuce and tomato on the side, cause I thought the additional height of this 3x3 might be too much for my mouth to open. Our orders come out and wow, that 3x3 sure has a lot of melted cheese all flowing out of it! I hate when the cheese isn't melted! OK, Here goes my 3x3, I open wide and ease that meaty goodness into my mouth. Biting down, it is a different experience than a regular Double Double. More meat centric with out the lettuce and tomato. The buns were toasted well and there was a crunch from that. I did like the 3x3, but I think the Double Double is a more balanced burger experience. That familiar taste of the Double Double wasn't there, more just meat and cheese, but yeah lots of meat. I'm glad I thought to give this 3X3 a try animal style, but I think next time I'll stick to the Double Double animal style with my extra grilled onions. This bug meat burger was enough for lunch so I skipped the fries. A 4 X 4 is the biggest option In N Out will make, but that way too much meat to fit in my mouth!

You can tell she loves her job and is proud of her cook. This place may not look fancy like other Italian restaurants with dim lighting, fancy deco, but her food speaks for itself. Her salad is always fresh and flavorful. We had avocado salad. It's not just a bed of mix green with avocado slices. There's apple slices, mixed green, every piece is lightly covered with rich and refreshing dressing. The pizza is not the usual pizza from pizzeria, she made it from scratch. It has its own texture. Pork lasagna is light! It is not the typical thick pasta layers. Everything is made from scratch. We love it. My friend said it's more northern Italian cooking. It's not loaded with red tomato sauce. The pasta is thinner, the ground pork is tender. Then comes my favorite short rib ravioli. I'm usually not a fan of ravioli, because they're always full of cheese and nothing else, but Susy's is full of short rib. Just meat, not trying to cheat with cheese or cream. If I want real authentic Italian food, I'll come here. I love how Susy will stop by the table, chat with us, told us what tv show she's watching. When she's excited, she'll talk with her hands, what an adorable lady. One thing to keep in mind, it's a one person's does it all, so it'll take a bit longer to get your food. Come in hungry but not too hungry so you don't get hangry!

The meat was good, the peppers and onions were good the wiz was good the roll was good. Tasty sandwich. I am spoiled by Frankie's south Philly's Cheesesteak in Tucson, which was about as authentic as you can get out side of Philadelphia. They ship their hoagie rolls from a Philadelphia bakery. And the way Frankie's puts their cheesesteak together is divine. This was just a half a hair under, it was so good. And it was so big and packed with meat. I couldn't finish this 6 incher. And it is very thoughtful that they provide a plastic fork and several napkins. Moochie's also has several sauces: jalapeño, chipotle, and Ranch maybe? Anyway, they threw in a bunch--and I mean a bunch--of jalapeño sauces and a couple of chipotle sauces. All in all, 7 sauce containers. The sauces are really good. Hardy and full of flavor. It is so tempting to eat this Philly with the sauce and I did for a few bites and really enjoyed it. But the flavor of the sandwich was so good, I didn't want to spoil it. This location on State Street seems a bit older and a hair tired, but still comfortable. There is enough parking and it is easy to get to. The service was pleasant and friendly. I definitely recommend Moochie's. I'll be back to try their sides. That, after all, is an important part of having a Philly cheesesteak. (Frankie's had killer sides.) 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Bread is just right, crispy on outside, soft in the middle. Meat super tender and flavorful, each piece coated in a thin veneer of cheese. I always grab a bottle of jalapeño sauce and squirt on each bite. Prices are a bit steep for fast food, but it's worth it. As for other food here, fries are pretty good - on the greasy limp side but satisfying dipped in their bottled fry sauce. Sweet potato fries not as good. Hard pass on the cheesecake cups (too soft & sour). It is nice this location actually has tables to sit at for a change, and usually no line unlike the downtown location. Bathroom is micro small. Considering how many workers are here, I was surprised they screwed up our order.. They seem to socialize A LOT in back. But they eventually did make it right. I'm just glad to see Moochie's has expanded into a local chain. I'll definitely be back in.
