Went with my friend to take our daughters for birthday treat. Owner was very nice and welcoming. However techs not so much. It was obvious they did not want to be at work. They were cold and just unwelcoming. Our daughters are 5 years old, they were able to sit for the pedicure and manicure with minimal re direction. They were offered juice and wanted more. One tech told them there was no more juice, another tech told them only one cup of juice was allowed. Then the owner says "give them as much juice as they would like". So which is it ? The pedicure and manicure was very basic, while I don't expect too much I was surprised that they didn't clean or cut their nails just painted over them. This place is very cute with the right Aesthetic and has great potential. I would suggest hiring technicians that love children and have more patience. The experience could have been better for the price. Not sure if I would recommend but won't be back. read more

Pretty in pink is an amazing spa place for kids. I have been to a few pink spas in the city but this is thus far the best one I have been to. The employee that worked with my girls was enthusiastic and super friendly. The girls automatically felt comfortable with her as they were getting their mani and pedi done . The girls were able to request music, drinking apple juices in cute cups, give a little model show , relax. There was enough space for us parents to lounge around as well. The employee did an amazing job with the girls. ( I wish I knew her name ) The place is clean and very spacious. There's 3 rooms with one being a party room! street parking available, also a free parking lot one block away I will definitely bring my girls back. Thank you for an amazing day! read more

Took my daughters here yesterday for my 5 year olds birthday, the experience was good during the first part of our appointment it was extremely pleasant. Before I tell you how the other half of the appointment went I want to give props to the two young ladies that took care of my daughters they were AMAZING. They made my babies very comfy and happy. Those two young ladies need raises. Now moving on to the other part of our appointment, while I was buying my daughters a gift at the gift shop a black women and her daughter was standing outside trying to come in for an appointment . One of the young ladies that were taking care of my daughter said " no she have to wait for there appointment to end" I said to the young lady it okay she can come in and wait with her child I don't mind, our appointment about to end anyway. The lady came in seen the wait time and left, after that a white women and four girls came for an appointment that they had and the other worker asked "can they come in ?" I said I don't mind and the lady and girls came in and sat down. After that I was getting the last pictures of my babies and my 2 year old daughter accidentally fell off of the swing & I was busy handling calming her down and cleaning her bleeding lip. The boss then appears in the shop and was asking if my baby was okay and telling us that children fall off of the swing all the time, I was thinking she comforting us and making sure our experience was good. While getting my babies ready at the back of the shop the boss pulled the curtain and Im thinking she giving us a lil privacy to put my baby panty hose and shoes on . The boss told us we can go behind the curtain, well that what I thought she said. While the white women and the 4 girls appointment is starting what the boss really said was that we have to exit from the back so we don't interrupt that white lady and her girls appointment. Now I was too busy focusing on my two year old to hear what she said so my sister heard what she said and was offended that us being the black people we had to leave from the back. Mind you the owner is a BLACK WOMEN. It very much gave "back of the bus type of situation" and trying to make sure that the white women is taking care of when the white women came in on my appointment and didn't say thank you for me allowing her to wait inside. I did that out of my kindness. That owner should've let us leave from the front door like how we entered. We were not disturbing nobody. My baby got hurt in her shop and we getting the kids together. After leaving the shop from back I then realized and put together what owner was doing. Very disappointed I will not be coming back there. I spent 300 and change at this shop . I should have been able to leave from the front door like how I entered. IF YOU ARE BLACK I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND .SHE WAS VERY MUCH WHITE CATERING AND NOT CATERING TO HER PEOPLE.IF YOU ARE BLACK GO SPEND YOUR BLACK DOLLARS SOMEWHERE ELSE . read more

Very nice place for girl's Bday party they offer spa treatment, Pedi & Mani as well as makeup, among other things... the venue is bright and colorful. A kids delight. I would recommend. The ladies-workers are very engaging with the kids, entertainment was on point. I took away few starts because as I was planning my daughter' party, they weren't very accommodating.. I called to ask for measurements of their table just to make sure I was ordering the right size and I was told by one of the workers, "I don't know." She showed no eagernes to find out either, I figured if you have several parties there you should at least know your table size, if not get a measuring tape and size it. Additionally, When you're running a business it's important to accommodate your customers. The owner is rude, abrasive and very defensive.. Two days prior to the party, I was told by one of her workers to drop off my theme party decorations before 6pm for them to do it, which conflicted with my schedule. the venue hours are 2-6pm, and my work hours are 10-6pm so I couldn't, then i was told and given the option to bring it after 6pm on the Friday evening prior to the party, I was told that some one will meet me there to drop off decorations. When I arrived, I was met by the owner, and after an exchange of words and having a conversation, was told by her that I will be doing the decorating myself because she doesn't pay her workers over-time for stay late to help decorate..and she went on and on with other unpleasant comments.. I took a deep breath, said what I had to say respectful and ended up doing it myself because at this point all that mattered to me was the happiness of my daughters birthday party celebration. Basically, I wasn't given information in details by her workers or her during the planning which is very important, it boils down to effective communication, which they all lack. read more
