For sure the worst experience I've ever had having my nails done. Made an appointment for a full set as I was going in an hour before they closed and many places can get busy. They saw me quickly but from the beginning I could tell it was going to be bad. They didn't bother to cut down my natural nails or clear out any dead skin or hangnails currently there. Then she starts slapping the fake ones on using too much glue so it went down my finger. I asked for them almond shaped and on the shoeter side. This is where the arguing started, she was cutting them in a stiletto shape and keeping them way long. Every time I asked her to change it she would push back. Eventually she got the gist that I wasn't going to let up and got them somewhat like I was asking. Every nail is a different length and a different shape, half of them are round not almond (see photos). She then doesn't use a base coat, only two coats of color and I had to ask her to use a top coat. Then she sprays all my hands with alcohol which I know is normal but then doesn't bother to put any lotion on my hands or give a massage in anyway. You can see how dry they are in the photos too. At that point I was done arguing and went to pay. They charge $46 for a full set! That's a ridiculous price especially for such a terrible job. I will never be back and will tell everyone how terrible they are. read more

I came here with my mom and brother and we all had an excellent time. My brother got a manicure and pedicure (without polish), and my mom and I got gel pedicures. They had lots of options for colors and they even offer many chrome options. The staff is really friendly, and the atmosphere is serene. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a new place to get your nails done! read more

They said "busy come back later." Oookay, even though you'll make appointments you can't for such a simple removal? I have been getting services at this salon since Tammie was the owner years ago. Recently, My husband and I went to get pedicures, and one of the manicurists accidentally nicked my husbands toe. Accidents happen, right? Well, it just wouldn't stop bleeding enough for his nails to be polished (yeah-my 60 something husband likes black polish on his toenails -‍) After waiting a while for the bleeding to stop, we decided to go home and administer first aid. THE SALON CHARGED US FULL PRICE FOR HOS PEDICURE! When I argued that he hadn't even gotten polish, the owner shrugged and said come tomorrow. I have patronized this salon for years, and I wouldn't go there now if it were literally the last place on earth. Oh, the kicker, he got a slight infection in his toe and so we also had to pay for a Dr visit. read more

I took my daughter in here for homecoming nails. She wanted just her tips painted white. The lines were not straight and the polish chipped and wore off after just a couple days. I can do her nails at home better than that and it costs me a lot less. read more

I always love my nails when I come here, but they are super expensive. I get the gel polish and it's so expensive. For me to get a fill with gel polish and my friend got a full set with gel polish and it was $100! That's crazy. I dont think I will be coming back here. They do a good job though, just to expensive. read more

It was my first time here at pretty nails. I was getting a regular manicure. I could tell the nail tech was not happy I wasn't doing gel manicure. It was probably the most basic plain manicure I've had. For $15 in the area, I would think the massage would be more than one minute each hand/arm. I would also hope they would have some sort of nice lotion. Where I go near home,it's $12 and you get a shoulder massage as well and a nice arm massage. She did great at getting rid of the dead cuticles and polishing my nails with a clear pink color. A big concern I had was sanitation. She took her tools out of a box. I asked and she said they have a sterilization cabinet. But I only saw one for towels. When asked to wash my hands, there was only one container with disinfectant solution with all the brushes. The lady told me to put my used brush back in with the sanitized brushes. You should keep the clean ones separate from the sanitized ones. I also noticed that they don't use disposable liners for their pedicures. I unfortunately, with the lack of time the disinfectant spray is left on in between clients, it doesn't have enough time to disinfect or sanitize the bowls. Which means when you put your feet in the pedicure bowl, it's most likely not disinfected from the client before. I was hoping to find a new nail place in Bonney Lake. But this was the first one I've tried. I'll have to keep trying. read more

I've been coming to Pretty Nails for over 6 years, I've always been happy with my nails and pedis. Jennifer has done a wonderful job of remodeling and updating the Salon. It's always clean and neat. Her staff are all very good. I have always left very happy with my nails or toes. read more

I've tried to give this place a chance so many times because my neighbor loves it, but it seems to be slightly more disappointing each time. It's fairly inexpensive but you get what you pay for I guess. The pedicure does not last, my polish was chipping right away. The gel manicure is just okay-there were a lot of rough edges and polish left on my skin. I had my daughter get her fingers painted too and it was all goopy (old) and coming off by the end of the day. Not to mention, the gentleman that works there is soooo grumpy and unfriendly. They're never busy(wonder why) and inexpensive but it's not worth it to me. I won't be back. read more

Best gel manicure I have ever gotten! They lasted 2 1/2 weeks before they chipped at all. Good prices, not to expensive, but the work is very good. I would recommend this salon to my friends. I got a pedicure as well that was not gel and it lasted just as long as the gel manicure before chipping. read more

Talk about "bait and switch". My first visit was great. I got the usual fill/pedi with artwork on fingers and toes that I have always gotten at every salon for the last 29 years. They did a great price and charged the amount I had expected to pay. My next visit I was told that the lady who had helped me was no longer there but was helped by yet a competent person who did the design well. However, I was charged $10 more for the EXACT service I had received the first visit. Now guess what happened on my third visit - SAME service as before fill/pedi artwork but was told by the tech that I should do my own design, informed that the normal amount of design I get (all fingers and toes) would cost more. So I got partial design on all but one finger on each hand. AND was charged even MORE than my last two visits. And when I asked to see the price list they had to search for an old one and then changed the prices. I have always taken in a rough design to my salon as I have done my own nails during "hard times" or between visits. And at this point I have been less than impressed with the quality of techs I have found here in Washington. I guess I will have to go back to doing my own nails. It's cheaper and I don't have to deal with rude techs even if it does take longer. I WON'T be going back. read more

I went to Pretty Nails only once. The staff doesn't really converse with you and are a little pushy on sales. My reward for trying their pedicure was a SEVERE case of athletes foot. Six weeks later after dr appointments I've almost got it cleared up. Stay far away if you don't want a fungal infection! read more

I completely disagree with the previous reviewer. I've had my nails done at every salon in the Bonney Lake area, and this is by far the best! Besides being the cleanest and most beautiful salon in the area, it is also the best place for a manicure/pedicure: extra long massages (and multiple treatments), affordable prices, excellent colorists, and overall outstanding service. Although most of the nail artists who work there don't speak very much English, the owner is always present, and she can translate anything her customers need to communicate. I've been getting manicures & pedicures for many years, and this is my favorite salon ever. Don't pay any attention to the previous reviewer's claims. Go check it out for yourself. read more

I've come here twice in the last 6 weeks. Both times the staff was extremely friendly and attentive! The technician paid close attention to detail and really wanted her work to be perfect.
