I value excellent customer service so I'd to recommend the Price Ford car dealership in Turlock, Ca. I like to shop locally, so I bought my Lincoln MKZ hybrid from them. Since my vehicle purchase I've visited the service dept. for regular scheduled maintenance. Each time I contact Price Ford staff they've been very courteous & helpful. Recently my car didn't start & I was stranded in downtown Modesto. I called AAA for a tow. I also called the Price Ford service dept a few times because I was on a time crunch since I had to fly out of state. Each time I called I spoke with Curtis B. a service advisor, who was very helpful & understanding of my situation. I feel Curtis made an extra effort to accommodate my needs. I had my car towed to Price Ford, and he made sure to call me regularly to keep me abreast of what was wrong with my car & provide cost estimates. Luckily it just needed a battery replacement. All in all, from the time I purchased my car to the servicing of it, I'm very pleased that I purchased my car from Price Ford. Bought a brand new explorer from them. Did my research first by contacting local dealers and out if city dealers. Local dealers to me have extremely high markups and out to get every penny from their dollar. And then, they hate dealing over email so they are always trying to steer you from using technology and calling them and visiting in person. By far, josh at patchetts is extremely responsive. And he never once steered me to come in person to make the deal happen. He handled everything over emails! Emails responded within minutes. All questions answered. No pressure. No bs. Best part of it all is if you look around, their prices are the lowest. That's a fact in all cars. Not just my car. I got my suv for 1100 bucks under invoice! I recently bought a Subaru Impreza from Patchetts and I can confidently say that it was an exceptional car buying experience. I had been looking at and researching cars for the last six months and settled the exact make, model and trim that was right for me. I was drawn to Patchetts by their extremely reasonable price for the vehicle I wanted, but also skeptical. I spent my time researching Patchetts, reading reviews and even checking them out on a Better Business Bureau website - everything seemed legitimate. I live in Oakland and wanted to be sure that the car and the sales team were worth driving 2 hours away for. I emailed Josh Lewis and got quick and thorough responses to all of my questions and regarding their policy on the LoJack system.They pre-install it on every vehicle, which you do have to pay a fee for. You can opt out of the LoJack system with no extra fees, no cost to remove it. That being said, I chose to keep the system which decreases my insurance premium. It practically pays for itself. Once I got to Patchetts Josh had the car washed and ready for me to test drive. There was very little pressure and he was willing to work within my budget. Both Josh and Peter (I believe he was the finance manager) got me a great interest rate and all of the paperwork went by swiftly. There was a little problem initially with my bank, I have USAA and I cannot get cashiers checks as readily as others institutions, but Josh and Peter were very flexible and were willing to let me swipe my card for a down payment and have the cashiers check mailed to them in 2-3 days. They noticed that I bank with USAA, realized that I am prior military and took it upon themselves to give me a military discount on the LoJack system. All in all, I worked with Josh, Jason and Peter to get the perfect car for me. They were very courteous, flexible and pleasant to work with. Not a once did they make me feel intimidated by being a female, buying a car by herself. I highly recommend Patchetts Ford. read more

My wife and I both agreed that the Ford Explorer was the one for our family, after calling around to every dealership in the bay area we found a Explorer in stock that we both liked and the price was great. Price ford has a great atmosphere, good people to deal with and you feel well taken care of. Let me begin by saying this is the second time I've had a TERRIBLE experience in the service department but now I'm writing my review. On August 23rd I stopped in to order a long plastic piece that covers the top of the running board and to show the service advisor that my volume/channel control buttons on the steering wheel are malfunctioning. He said oh yes we will just need to replace the button assembly on the steering wheel. I said ok and they would contact me when the parts were in. I called on September 6th to ask about the parts. They said they were in so I made an appointment for Saturday the 9th to get the repairs done and to go ahead a get the oil changed and tires rotated so I don't have to make another trip for the Lube, oil and rotation. They call me at 12:25pm and said let me go over something with you. They said they diagnosed the problem with the control buttons on the steering wheel and they will need to order the parts. At that point I almost list it. I said what do you mean order parts. I called and they said they were in, that's why I made the appointment. At no point on August 23rd did the service advisor, Bryan T. Whitestone say they would need the pickup brought in for the control buttons to be diagnosed. Oh, I forgot to mention this is a warranty situation. WTF is wrong with the lack of communication in the service department. I could just as easy take my pickup to Country Ford in Ceres which is where I live. I will never purchase another vehicle from or have any service performed, except for my free oil changes at Price Ford. read more

They were kind, courteous and thorough. We dealt with a gentleman named Nickeddy. Right from the beginning he was warm and welcoming. He offered us coffee and water while we waited. After finding and repairing what they believed to be the issue they found an additional last minute problem. Since we drove 30 minutes from Merced he apologized and offered us a loaner, full tank of gas. In addition to Nickeeddys excellent service every other employee we came in contact with greeted us and treated us with the kind of customer service one would hope to get everywhere they go. We purchased a 2004 Expedition in June of 2013, they were adamant about us purchasing an extended warranty and so glad that we did, they have great customer service, and the service department is totally helpful. We have free oil change for as long as we own the car w/Patchett's and we feel pleased with all the service we have gotten on our vehicle so far, the warranty has already paid for itself with recent transmission issue which they found when we requested a service on it. That was a good call, as rep Josh Lewis was polite, professional and gave me a price right away, with none of the rather sad, slippery and, yes, sexist salesmen at my local Ford dealer (I'm a man and even I was cringing at what the local guys were saying to my wife). So Josh was a refreshing change, and was quick with a quote, explained the differences between models and rebates, etc.. We went in expecting to have to haggle to get a descent price, however, unlike other dealers that I have been to over the years, there was no pressure to buy or any haggling over the price. The prices for their vehicles are already more than fair, and it includes lifetime oil changes. Originally went in looking for a 2012 Super Duty, which they had none in stock, so got a 2013 for about the same price with good financing.
