My apologies for sharing his expletive of choice on this review but I found this unforgivable and incredibly disappointing from an establishment I have been patronizing for years. Rude! First timer and I can tell they definitely charge people more than others. Glad I asked how much they charged for a dress before I dropped my stuff off. I was told $13-$18 depending on the material and when I questioned the price variance I got depends on the material. This is just a sun dress and I've never paid more than $12 for a dress. Of course they quote me $18 but were pretty rude about it when I said wow that's pretty expensive. I will definitely take my business elsewhere. read more

We love Pride Cleaners. We moved to Phoenix a year ago from Texas. Pride was one of 3 cleaners in our neighborhood. We went to Pride & were happy w/ the results. The staff is super nice & engaging. The workmanship is spot on (pun intended) & the price is competitive & reasonable. Even tho we're now in a new neighborhood we continue to use Pride for all our dry cleaning. read more

I stopped by Pride Cleaners on Saturday and dropped off two suits and two shirts. Ended up costing about $40 which is a little more than I am used to spending, but they did a really great job and my clothes were ready to go on time. Open until 6pm on weekdays works for me. read more

I wish I could give zero stars! I should have known better to come back after I was misquoted the price for fluff and fold my first visit here, but I was in a pinch. I dropped off a large amount of clothing, some wash and some dry cleaning. I told them when I needed it by, and they said no problem. They called me later to let me know a lot of the pieces were dry cleaning and they might need longer - I told them I left it with them because I needed it at a certain time and if they couldn't do the job by then I would come by and pick it up. They said they would have it ready. $317 later, I have my laundry. 85% of what I dropped off was laundry, but they were so lazy that they dry cleaned 85% of it instead. I have about 20 cotton, machine wash tank tops that they dry cleaned to the tune of almost $6 a piece! Are you kidding? LAZY and UNPROFESSIONAL. When I got home and realized what had happened, I called to inquire. The guy on the phone was so rude and accused me of being 'nasty,' said he did me a favor (?) and then hung up on me. I would absolutely never come back here. I really can't believe the nerve they had to dry clean so many cotton, machine wash pieces, and then tell me they did me a favor while sticking their hand in my wallet. LAZY LAZY LAZY. read more

I rarely use dry cleaners, but I recently moved and my new washer & dryer are not big enough to wash my queen-sized comforter. I researched and called many places but decided on Pride Cleaners because of their convenient location and price point. I was told a price with the Yelp discount over the phone, and again when I dropped the comforter off. I planned to pick it up 2-3 days afterwards on a Friday evening after work. I knew they were closing at 6:00, so I called when I was on my way around 5:30 letting them know I'll be arriving 5-10 minutes before closing. Instead of being appreciative of the heads up, I received a rude attitude over the phone. After I arrived 8 minutes before closing, someone had to open the door for me as they were already locked up and ready to leave (good thing I called...). After being told the total (which was higher than I was quoted, twice), I showed the guys the Yelp coupon and explained that I was told that it would be X amount, twice. Instead of having any sort of customer service, they began arguing with me and telling me that the coupon is not applicable to this item. They wouldn't do anything about the price, when in reality, it was only a difference of a few dollars. Being talked to and treated like that both over the phone and in person, as well as not keeping their word and charging me more upon pick-up, I will never return. Terrible customer service and rude men with attitudes. Plus, the place can really use some updates to the interior and exterior. read more

Dry cleaners are like hair stylists - you are entrusting them with something very personal and important. I usually test-drive a cleaner for several months before I will entrust one with an important item. So far, this cleaner has been great. I have been using it for the past 9 months with no incident . The prices are surprisingly good for this part of town. I am holding back one star because of its hours. Very inconvenient if you have to work for a living. They don't open until 7 am and close at 6:30! They are open Saturday, but only until 3 pm. And closed on Sunday. Luckily, I live nearby, so can stop on my way to work. Anyway. Pride Cleaners rocks! On Tuesday I had a full-day of meetings and accidentally forgot to pick up my dry-cleaning by Pride's closing time. I needed my clothes for a business trip yesterday and 15 minutes after Pride closed I called their telephone number and reached them. Their closing employee was already driving home but they contacted him on his cell and he turned around and headed back to the store to provide me my clothes. This was awesome customer service! I was already a happy Pride customer as their prices are fair and service is quality and punctual but this experienced compelled me to both write this Yelp review (my first ever) and become a big Pride Cleaner fan. If I could give negative one million stars I would. I was blown away today by the service provided by "Pride" cleaners. First, let me say this... I am not one to review a business on a social forum, this is literally my first time doing so. I typically give everyone the benefit of the doubt. But I specifically signed up for yelp this evening because based on principle alone, I feel it is justified. I will start by saying this... I am a native of the Arcadia neighborhood. I was born and raised here. I grew up near 40th Street and Campbell and with the exception of four years of my life, while serving in the Marines, I have lived my entire life in this neighborhood. I'm a firm believer in supporting local, small businesses. Which is why I have been using Pride Cleaners for several years and have been a regular customer of their establishment. I regularly turn in my clothes for dry cleaning and laundry and have been VERY satisfied! Extremely! Then today I went to pick up my most recent drop off. I dropped off a pair of pants and four shirts the day prior. When I came for pick up I received a pair of pants and three shirts. I politely told the Gentleman at the counter, who appears to be the manager or possibly even owner, that I was missing a shirt. I knew I was missing the shirt because I had just recently purchased that shirt and specifically remember dropping it off. Instead of a heartfelt I will look into it and see what I can do, to my surprise I was met with a very inhospitable approach. He told me "I'm not trying to be difficult here" and essentially treated me as if I were lying and completely in the wrong. I kept my composure and despite my awareness that I had in fact turned that shirt in, I returned home to inventory my clothes and confirm. I then called "Pride" cleaners and spoke with the same man and informed him of my findings. I was again met with hostility as if I were lying and being difficult. I don't even care about the shirt. It was $70. Which in the grand scheme of things is a decent amount of money for a dam shirt! But more importantly, it's about the principle of the matter... Is this how you treat your local and loyal customers? I work in the hospitality industry... and you sir, whatever your name is, gets an epic fail! The last thing you said to me on the phone was that you would do your "due diligence" and look for my shirt but that you were "adamantly sure it wouldn't turn up!" Well I am "adamantly sure" it will and when it does, I don't want the shirt back... I want you to hang it up in your shop as a reminder of the the failure you provided to a longstanding loyal customer who is now taking his services down the street... read more
