    Since the beginning tires didn't work

    Do not buy a vehicle from here unless you want to be sold a car that will give you nonstop issues. I purchased a car from here and from the start it has given me problems. From the cooler leaking to the check engine light shining, after many visits and calls to them, the car shut off on me while I was taking my kids to school. They did not care that my life and my kids life was put in danger and did a Mickey Mouse job to fix it. My car continues to give me problems and I am contemplating taking legal action against this unprofessional, deceitful dealership

    The salesperson that sold us the car, then decided to ignore us when we let him know the issues.

    Fuckin horrible they will sell you a car and have problems with it make sure you take a mechanic to see any car there.

Unfortunately, we given only a brief demonstration of how the wheelchair operated, with no written instructions, manual, or supporting paperwork provided. There was also no assistance offered in getting the equipment to the car. During pickup, my husband overheard staff mention that the unit could be difficult to charge, which raised concerns. When we attempted to use the wheelchair during our trip, it powered on, light flashing but would not move at all. By that point, we were too far away to return to the store, and without any instructions, we were left trying to troubleshoot on our own. Most concerning was the response when my elderly parents called to report the issue-- they were met with a dismissive and defensive tone rather than empathy or a willingness to help. The interaction was particularly upsetting given their age and the circumstances. After returning the wheelchair, no resolution or follow-up was offered, despite being told the owner would call to discuss our concerns. That never happened. We have rented medical equipment across the country for many trips and have never encountered such a lack of support, professionalism, or basic customer care. This experience was both frustrating and disappointing, and we DO NOT recommend this business.

    On February 10, 2026 I went with my father-in-law to Specialty Medical to purchase an electric…read morewheelchair. I was the one communicating with the owner, Doug, during the visit and he even texted me the receipt directly while I was standing there in the store. Within a day or two, around February 12th, we decided to cancel the order. From that point forward we spent weeks calling and trying to get a refund. On March 12th I texted Doug again regarding the refund. Screenshots of that conversation are included with this review. In those messages he discussed giving a partial refund and repeatedly asked that we remove the review. On Friday March 13th I personally went back to the store and picked up cash from Doug in the amount of $2,355. Even then the full amount was not refunded despite the order being cancelled almost immediately after the purchase. After I posted my original review about the experience, Doug began calling and texting me asking that I delete it. I have included screenshots of those communications so people can see exactly what was said. Doug also replied publicly to my previous review claiming that I was not a customer of the business. That is not accurate. I was present in the store during the purchase, communicated directly with Doug, received the receipt from him by text, and I was the one who returned to the store to collect the refund. I have also included screenshots of the original review that was removed. People rely on reviews when making important decisions, especially when purchasing medical equipment. Because of how this situation was handled and the communication afterward asking that the review be removed, I believe it is important to share my experience so others can make informed decisions. All of the statements in this review reflect my direct experience with this business and the communication I personally had with the owner. Supporting screenshots have been included for transparency.
