I wish I could give more stars but the pizza just didn't wow me. The garlic knots were fresh and fluffy, but the pizza felt dry. It might be different if you order an entire pie, but the individual slices were not IT. That's all. The good: I enjoyed the outdoor dining area. Perfect to enjoy the outdoor breeze. I also appreciated that they had ranch. I don't care what anyone says, ranch and pizza are a perfect combination! We were around the area and wanted to find a pizza place that wasn't a pizza hut, domino, type of chain store. So we stumbled upon this one. This is a very small pizza parlor is on a corner and has a VERY small parking lot. A lot of the spaces are in a one-way kind of direction. They have a few small tables inside but they have a patio with some picnic style benches. We loved the pizza, but we wished there was more sauce. They ask for your number and will text you when the pizza was ready for pick up. We waited in the car. I'm absolutely spoiled by all the great pizza places in Los Angeles, and Prime Pizza is high on my list. Their house made ranch is a show stopper on its own, but their pizza, both times I've had it, absolutely knocked it out of the park. I could only compare it to what feels like an all expenses paid trip to flavor town, with plenty to love, including their own blend of arnold palmer which was lip smacking good too. I love this place for all it is, but I would be content to just stare into the windows of their various flavors. read more

I stopped in 2 days ago for a slice and the employee/manager (woman with glasses and a red shirt) asked if i wanted a slice from the corner or middle. "Corner", I said. When she brought my pizza to me at my table, there were two slices on the tray! "The slice was very small," she said. Prime pizza have quickly become one of my new favorite pizza spots. I have been on the hunt to find the best pizza spots in the San Fernando valley and prime pizza is definitely in my top 5. My personal favorite is the spicy pepperoni pizza. It has the perfect kick of spice and the dough is the perfect crunch and soft in the inside. Definitely a one star and crazy hype. Giving it two because I'm never going back to try the square pizza. Heavy sauce, no cheese, crazy over priced, thin cracker crust. No clue what I am honestly paying for. The pizza is so thin it doesn't even hold heat, ate it immediately at the location as it came out and the pizza was not too hot to consume or it might simply be the fact there's no cheese to hold the heat. The sauce is acidic, in my opinion the character of cheap sauce. Nothing on this pizza brought anything that would make one feel like this is a good pizza or garnered your attention. I ordered to go and it said 30 minutes for pickup. I arrived and my pizza was 15 minutes late. So I was waiting for it to come out. To be fair it was prime time dinner, but I ordered one pizza. There were probably 15 delivery drivers waiting or arriving in this time. The restaurant is taking in way more orders than it could handle. Do not waste your time or money. Most restaurants near the Portos area were closed when we arrived at our hotel around 9 pm. My sister and I trekked across town and found this hidden gem while trying to figure out which restaurants were still open. We bought two pepperoni slices for a total of $10. That's unheard of in the SF Bay Area. When we returned to our hotel, our pizza turned cold. To our surprise, our flat, cold pizza tasted like a little slice of heaven. Every single cold pizza that I have tried tasted gross. We regret that we didn't buy an entire pizza. My sis and I agree that this is the best pizza that we've ever tried. My wife, son and I visited together...it's a small spot with just a few parking spaces...we were lucky to nab one. You order at the conter in a sort of inside space and then take it to go or eat at their outside tables. They've got super-rock solid NYC slices. We all had cheese slices to start and had no complaints...perfect crust...perfect ratio of cheese to sauce (ie not too much cheese and not too little sauce) gave us the exact experience we were looking for. Hallelujah! Enter their thicker square pie slices...more Detroit style...not your typical, basic restaurant pizza...but truly fantastic and perfectly cooked crispy dough with all kinds of enticing options on top...we had Sicillian slices of this variety and are still salivating over the gorgeous flavors that went into our mouths. If Prime Pizza opened in Santa Clarita, we'd set up camp outside and never leave. It was super good...well worth the 20 minute drive from where we were and they have plenty of reasons on their menu for us to go back, try new things, and have more of what we really loved. Great pizza option in Burbank, near the studios/Magnolia park area. Located in an easy to access corner space with decent amount of parking. All of their pizzas are one size though, they do not offer anything smaller than a Large (feels like an XL). Quality of the pizza is great, generous amount of toppings and tasty dough. For years, I have driven by this pizza place and never stopped. Honestly, I thought you had to buy a full pizza, so I never really thought about stopping in. However, I learned they also do individual slices, which is great for a quick lunch! I had two slices and both were pretty good and a reasonable value. They have a little sitting area if you want to stay and eat there. For individual slices, they heat them up out of a display case. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes and it's pretty efficient. Came here after a very long day and I just wanted/needed something delicious and comforting. My friend suggested this place and I'm glad he did. It was later in the evening and their small parking lot was empty. Even on busy days, I would suggest parking across the street and just walking over. They sold pizza by the slice and since it was my first time here, it was an easy way to try a little of everything. They have a variety of toppings, crusts, and sauces. I can't tell you specifically what we got because we just pointed at pre-made slices and took them all home. While we waited for our stuff, we sat down and had a beer. Tables were small and I can see this being more of a pick-up and go place. Beer selection was minimal. Even though we took it home and it was slightly cold by that point, the pizza slices were all really, really, really good. It makes me think how much better they must be hot! I would recommend trying the slices and getting to know their flavors, or if you're up for it, ordering a full pie would also be a great idea. Definitely gonna make this a regular spot. read more

I had never met her before, yet she made us feel truly welcome, almost like family. She took the time to explain everything we asked about without rushing us at all, and she was patient, attentive, and genuinely sweet throughout the entire interaction. It's never fair to compare but if you enjoy Prince Street, then you'll love PRIME PIZZA Their grandma slice and regular slice are crisp and oily and tasty and everything you want in a slice of pizza pie. I also sampled the wings and wasn't disappointed by those, either. Topped off with a nice fizzy drink and your LDL level is off to the races. I arrived right at opening and there were slices ready to serve, and a stream of deliveries and pickups already occurring in the first 20 minutes of opening. The steady business is a good omen! Date: September 2, 2024 Starting off September with a review to this gem of a spot we got to check out! Hubs was in the mood for NY pizza so yelped around and saw this one looked the most delicious and had the most reviews stating it was closest to authentic NY pizza so we decided to give it a shot. They have a little patio outside if you prefer outside dining with restrooms and a water station. They also have a parking lot, sometimes right parking due to its small space but a good 10 spots at least! Walked inside and they have a couple tables inside as well. It was fully packed when we arrived but luckily we managed to grab a seat as someone was just leaving. Ordered at the counter and they give you a number and bring your food to you. We got a full pepperoni pizza (27$) and buffalo wings (12$) as well as a slice of Sicilian Pizza (5$). ALL were amazing delicious!!! The Scilian pizza was so worth it! Wish we had more. The pepperoni pizza was a little on the oily side but the pepperoni was delicious! Love that the cheese wasn't extreme but also just enough to make the pizza blend well together. They have can drinks (2.50-4$) but no ice so some drinks were on the warmer side but still a nice addition to the meal. We got a Diet Coke (2.50$) and an Arnold Palmer (3.50$).
