Popped into the lounge area to experience the girl dinner. Lots of other ladies and their lady friends had the same idea. For my girl dinner, I ordered a dirty vodka martini, crispy fries, Caesar salad with your choice of anchovies- mine is without, and leveled up with 2 shrimp cocktail. The cocktail sauce was spicy . It was delicious. The blue cheese olives in the dirty martini were the best I've ever tasted. The vibe and decor in the lounge was upscale and cool. This is def the spot on Thursdays. I'll be back.

I would avoid this restaurant. Nothing about it was good. They open at 3:30. I walked in & was the first to sit at the bar. There was one bartender who was engaged in conversation with who appeared to be a wine vendor. So I waited, and waited, and waited. Finally I interrupted her and asked if there was another bartender available who could make me a drink. He broke away & fixed me one. The food was not good. Crab Rangoon was burned and the Oysters Stockofeller as they call them were raw. We expected them to be cooked. We each ordered the wagyu burger which just okay. We had 1 drink 2 burgers and 2 appetizers and with tip it was $130. Certainly not worth it. The ambience was its only redeeming quality.

This was our first time visiting, and we came with a large group. Unfortunately, we arrived later than expected due to a tornado warning and extremely heavy traffic. We anticipated being about 15-30 minutes late because of the circumstances. From the moment we arrived, we felt rushed. Our server did not seem understanding of the situation and was not very accommodating. When we asked questions about the menu, her responses were short and dismissive. She also frequently gestured with her hands very close to my face while speaking, which felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. She was not very personal. Throughout our visit, there were several snarky remarks and sarcastic comments that made us feel unwelcome. We understand that restaurants can be busy, but we expected a higher level of professionalism and courtesy, especially as first-time guests. Edit** there's a couple of us woke up to food poisoning.

We came for restaurant week - and had a wonderful experience. Service was quick, friendly and full of suggestions for future dining. Beautiful interior! Steaks were cooked perfectly - the soup and salad were a great option and loved our dessert. Parking is a bit tricky on the street - but otherwise good location near the Plaza!

This has now been my third time at Stock Hill, and its definitely got a spot in my top 3 in Kansas City for a fine dining experience! The service is top notch, the drinks are strong and taste great, and the food is always incredible and FRESH. The lobster bones are always a go to for appetizers, we also tried the crab cake which was amazing the sauce they put it in is so good. The shrimp cocktail is what you would expect, nothing crazy but the shrimp were huge. Best drinks were the KC Steakhouse Punch and the Wolf on Main Street. If you like risotto, their crab and lobster risotto is WELL WORTH the money - its so rich and flavorful. This time i tried the American Wagyu KC strip with the Marrow butter - highly recommend. If you have some money to spend for an incredible night out, this is the spot to go!

Came here tonight for Valentine's Day and the steak was delicious! I had the steak diane and the sauce was perfect. The potatoes were extremely tender and also delicious. My boyfriend got the Australian Wagu Filet and it just melts in the mouth. It has dim romantic lighting which was perfect for tonight.

High end steak House. There American steaks are superb. We're had a ribeye which was perfect. Medium rare with marrow butter. The super premium steaks, wagu, Australian, all looked magical. Triple fried fries were perfect. Really great cocktails. Wait staff was awesome, I could barely get a sup of water before I had a refill. Great recommendations from the staff. 2 servers per table. A little live music in the bar. Great location, near the street car if you care to walk. Expensive, but worth every penny.

We had a great evening at Stock Hill, the place was large and a nice modern vibe. We went the "traditional" steakhouse route with à la carte but I think if I went back I may do the preated style meals as they were a better deal and looked awesome. I also really wanted a steak but their other dishes looks great especially the crab and lobster risotto.

Are you looking for a transcendent dining experience? Seriously, this is the place. My husband and I were in KC for a wedding and wanted a steak dinner, we landed here and couldn't have been more satisfied. Our server, Gary, was warm, knowledgeable, and a seasoned pro. The rest of the staff were equally as kind and quick. Every dish that was brought out was wonderfully balanced. The 'lobster bones' appetizer and the 'fragola tart' will stay burned into my brain for a very long time. The steak? Exceptional. Wonderful cut and marbling, well cooked, and the flavor was delicious. I'm sad we don't have another night to spend at this restaurant. To say it was one of my favorite dining experiences in a very long time is no exaggeration. The ambience is cozy, the music isn't too loud, and the seating is intimate and comfortable. I wish I had a steak for the road.

Ambiance is stunning! It's a beautiful restaurant with intimate lighting & lots of different seating options. The service was fantastic. The bartender was very knowledgeable on all the cocktails & gave appropriate recommendations. When we were sat in the dining room, our server checked on us often and was very informative, patient, & professional. We went during restaurant week so we ordered off that menu. It was $55 for the soup, filet + potatoes, & dessert - what a deal! We added on some extra sides as well. The mushrooms were the best I've ever had. The Brussels sprouts were also delicious.

Waygu experience. Sorry, I had to dig in, pic was the last thing on my mind, but can you blame me? YUM!

This is officially our new favorite restaurant. I used to think I'd eaten at all the best steak places in KC--turns out, I was dead wrong. This is the spot to order steak, no contest. We went all in on the Wagyu experience, and let me tell you, it was like steak had been kissed by angels. The sides didn't just tag along either. The ricotta gnocchi was so cheesy and indulgent, I considered asking for extra to-go. And the lobster risotto? Writing about it now, my mouth started watering all over again. The place is cozy and quiet, with a gorgeous bar up front that basically begs for a post-dinner nightcap. Our server was like a steak whisperer--knowledgeable and on point. Hands down, the best Mother's Day dinner--ever. Can't wait to go back and pretend I'm fancy again. Seriously, how am I supposed to eat regular steak again after that Japanese Wagyu? I'm officially spoiled for life.

Been to stock hill many of times but on this occasion my waiter was a bit aloof and not attentive at all. At one time and point I even found myself at the bar ordering my own cocktail due to him being elsewhere and not coming to our table to ask if we need new drinks even after walking by us several times. On this occasion I would have to say I was displeased with the service yet the food was still great!

Her first reaction when it arrived was that maybe she should have ordered something else but after digging in was pleasantly surprised with the flavor of the sauce and how it complimented the salmon and veggies. I ordered the fish and chips. Of my meal I enjoyed the fries, not so much the fish. As I was eating it, I tried to think of how best to describe the taste in this review but wondering if it were bland with the expectation that you'd want vinegar. I just can't put my finger on it. I will say it was plentiful as I only finished one of the two pieces of fish that came with the meal. I myself, will definitely try something different if we were to go back. I gave this review a 3 partly because of my meal but also the overall experience. When I walked in, other patrons looked at me as if I'd walked into the wrong place which made for an odd feeling. But once my other guests arrived we decided to stay because we wanted to try the food. Crazy how a glance or two can make you rethink your lunch plans.

It's located in a cool area in the middle of the plaza right underneath Chiefs Fit gym. As soon as you enter you get a feel for the great ambiance and fun variety of music. We came in during a cold snowy day and took full advantage of the FREE coat check at the front desk. On the first floor there's a mini golf course as well as a full bar and seating area. Once you go downstairs though, you'll see just how massive the place is. Theres TONS of seating and cool little nooks to hangout in which make it great for a date night or corporate events. Once you get into the mini golf there's some great courses to check out. Each one has a different theme and they make it super simple to track your points. Simply enter the names of all your players on the touch screen at the first hole, then enter the number of strokes afterwards. After that it will follow you throughout the course until you're finished and tell you who wins at the end! There's also a place to sit your drinks at the start of each hole with a menu of course specific cocktails that I highly recommend trying. Every part of this place is perfect to take pictures and have a great time. But in my opinion, the true highlight of the Puttery is the food. I had the pleasure of meeting the head chef while here and he truly puts his heart into the menu. Our server Mariah was also super helpful giving us drink and food recommendations throughout our time here. Everything sounded amazing but I had to go with the Cajun Chicken Philly since I'm a sucker for a Philly sandwich. It was one of my favorite sandwiches I've ever had. From the soft delicious bread to the unbelievably juicy and tender chicken, this was such a great dish. The combination of ingredients and the plating itself made it clear that nothing comes as an afterthought here. I also tried the loaded fries which were a great recent addition to the menu. Last, we finished it off by trying the Tiramisu, Raspberry Donut Cheesecake, and the Bourbon Bread Pudding. Each one was really amazing but my favorite was the Raspberry Donut Cheesecake, and I'm not even a huge cheesecake fan! I definitely plan to come back here just for the food because it was so delicious!! And on top of that, they recently started a meal prep service which I plan to take full advantage of! Overall you can tell that every detail is thought through at the Puttery. It truly feels like a luxury experience with an element of fun to round it out. The service is amazing and the food and drinks are to die for. If you're ever looking for a fun date night, a group outing, or even just a place for a solo dinner or drinks, you have to check this place out!
