We love prime table! We have been going since they opened and are excited to see the remodel!

Came to Prime Table to celebrate my niece's birthday and it was a solid experience. Let's dive in... Ambiance - The ambiance at Prime Table is nice. It's a little dark inside, but there's room for groups both large and small. The room we were in had some art with old famous actors and musicians on the wall, but was nicely done. Service - The service was very good. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We never had to ask for refills; they were always on top of things. Food - The food was great! I had a steak burger and it was delicious. Their triple cooked French fries were equally delicious and came with some house made Russian dressing. I couldn't quite finish my meal, but wished that I had the capacity to do so. It was that tasty! Everyone else seemed to really like their food too. Everything looked good. Overall, the food and service were great and that's the recipe needed to have a repeat customer. I would definitely consider coming back. read more

Service was great. The waiter came often to check on us if we needed refills while waiting for our meals. Over all experience, we waited pretty long to received our meals. My salmon was not over cooked but a little salty. The fully loaded potato wasn't what I expected, it was alright. I didn't get to try their mac n cheese which I didn't care for. My friend's rib eye steak came well done, she asked for medium rare. Of course for the price they charged for it, she asked for another one. Her replacement rib eye steak came out with 10 mins. Let just say I make better steak at home. The becan strip was the only plate I thought was delicious. Seasoning was just right. I can taste the glazed caramel sugar with the side of apple sauce dip. I don't know what sauce the used on the salad, it was devoured by my friend. The plate presentation was beautiful. The price does not match the quality of the foods. The waiter took off one rib eye steak off our bill because we were charged twice. Not sure why it was added on the bill in the 1st place. read more

2nd time around here and didn't disappoint. We got the same level of service both times. 1st was a dinner at 7:30pm. 2nds was s dinner at 5:00pm. First time we tried the burger and fries. They were excellent. Pickles tasted unusual. Wife didn't not like them. 2nd time around we ordered The ribeye steak dinner and the burger again. I went there specifically for the 45 day aged cuts of beef. Unfortunately for me, they had suspended serving the 45 day age beef because THEY ARE CLOSING FOR RENOVATION in 3 week. They OPENING ANOTHER MARKET TAVERN IN LODI in the meantime thier staff can be employed. Its the same ownership. Anyways. I really liked the fact that this place offers steak sauces. I got the brown butter and red wine sauce with my steak. Steak cooked to my liking and sauces were amazing. Brown butter was my favorite of the both. Drinks were great too. The martini was dirty and the greyhound was refreshing. After dinner we got desserts and drink. Wife enjoyed her Gelato and coffee drink and I my espresso martini and pistachio chocolate cake. Personally, I would not waste your hard earned money and precious time coming here... Its expensive eating out, period!...but at least get what you pay for! Food was way under par and service was very slow! Sorry Prime Table... read more

I visited Prime Table on Friday, 4/5/24, around 8 PM for dinner. I decided to order Capitol Gem Oysters, the Kings Cut Prime Rib along with PT Mac N Cheese and Classic Creamed Spinach, and a glass of La Marca Prosecco wine. I enjoyed everything from start to finish. The oysters were nicely fresh and chilled; the Champagne Mignonette and Kimchi Cocktail Sauce complemented the appetizer well. The entrée was wonderful. The prime rib was a tad salty, but it was still tasty. The sides were both on point. Lastly, pairing the wine with the meal brought it all together. My server for the night was Mariah. She was kind and attentive. I truly appreciated her great hospitality. The inside of the restaurant was marvelous. I loved the dim setting with the lights and a candle on the table. Prime Table does offer delectable food. It is an admirable restaurant. I will still return here. read more

This place is so classy! Good for 2 couples when they have a date. The food is so delicious. The service is awesome. They very mannered and friendly and very nice people. You can bring a group of people too? I love the ambiance. Wish a little bit of lights tho! I can't barely see the menu cos it's dark. But I like it. They should put a switch if you want lights then you can dim it back. read more

This food is delicious, although pricey now like everything else now. My friend just told me you can get the meals delivered.

1. Let's start with ambiance, this place is cozy and has an old school feel. It's beautiful and honestly to me just screams "classy" without being too intimidating to want to dine in regardless of how you are dressed. 2. Service, our server was helpful, attentive, and very accommodating our whole time there. My family is very curious so they ask a lot of questions lol but our server answered everything with patience and he was very knowledgeable! They took care of us and we were never wanting for anything /waiting for refills. They were on top of it and made their rounds around the restaurant. 3. Food, personally my family and I enjoyed everything. The meat was perfect ! The only thing I would say were the veggies were not memorable /lacking flavor but that's a personal preference as I like my veggies seasoned a bit. But honestly food is 10/10 the appetizers were a 10/10. We can here for my sisters highschool graduation celebration dinner and let me tell you my family is PICKYYYY! My family brought me here to celebrate my birthday. Neither of us had dined here before. When my sister made the reservation over the phone, she told them we were celebrating my birthday, but upon arrival, the host and the server never mentioned it. When our server asked how we were doing, I replied, "great, we're celebrating my birthday". I believe her name was Shawna. Her attitude at the beginning was terrible. She was cold and robotic with us. She seemed as if she had somewhere else to be like she was in a hurry to rush us with our drink order. After she took our drink order and walked away, I commented to our table if anyone else noticed her attitude. We all agreed we were off to a bad start. Could it be that she had issue with serving folks like us? b/c that's what it felt like. Our money is just as green as anyone else's in that restaurant so why should we be treated differently. Oh but her friends were sitting in her section at a table near us and she was a totally different person with them. It was like day & night. I didn't even recognize her when she was smiled at them. The guy serving the bread though, he was SOO nice and a breathe of fresh air. His personality was so pleasant. Why couldn't he be our server? *sigh* The bread was warm and delicious. The cook on my ribeye was not uniform - some was medium and some was medium-rare (barely). I mentioned it to our server and she offered to have it remade. It was juicy (surprisingly) so I said it was fine. The seasoning on the ribeye was done well. I usually find myself reaching for the salt shaker at this point but it was not needed. I'm usually weary of places that give you a sauce for your steak b/c I feel that if it's seasoned properly, then you don't need a sauce. I appreciated that the sauces came on the side b/c I didn't use mine much. Our server changed her attitude during the meal - maybe she had an A-HA moment or something. We're all human and have our off days. She took a few photos for us, when we requested. Even though she knew it was my birthday, I was not brought a complimentary dessert. Even a scoop of ice cream would've been a small gesture of celebration. Seems they don't do complimentary desserts for special occassions. Upon leaving, she wished me a happy birthday. We had a double date here on New Year's Eve. We had a reservation at 5 and arrived about 10 minutes early. We expected a wait but were sat right away. Our server was great. He was on point and made sure we had everything we needed and didn't miss a beat. He had a great sense of humor and was able to banter with us. - I wish I caught his name. The cosmo was not good at all but the espresso martini was great! I was kind of underwhelmed with the food. The prime rib as good. Very tender. I wish the au jus or prime rib had a little more flavor. (I am a little bit of a steak/beef snob though- grew up on beef cattle ranches.) The loaded baked potatoes were great. The only real down side for me was the baked mushrooms. They were very onion-y. I couldn't eat more than 2 as they were overwhelmingly strong. One of my friends liked them though. All in all - the food was good but not great. However we had a great time! read more

Ambiance is the old school 1920s esthetic. Very cute but it is kinda small. They are able to accommodate large groups as they have a room in the back. Their prices are excellent. Service is superb. Probably some of the best service in Stockton. I feel like I'm not even in Stockton when I go here. The drinks are amazing made with fresh ingredients and well balanced. Their filet mignon is so delicious as well as their prime rib. Whenever I want steak I'll return here. They cook everything to perfection and flavors are excellent. Went here for the first time a few weeks ago and everything was super delicious. The prime rib was flavorful and the desserts were amazing. Added to reservation and talked to someone at restaurant. Choosing the desert as well. The restaurant failed to acknowledge. More of a disappointment to her as she really wanted to make it special for her father and I. I suggest if you are celebrating a special occasion do not just add to reservation. Tell the people there when you arrive. I didn't know till after we left and when I failed to mention she asked me about it. She was upset. Also the desert was not as described or previously ordered. Order the chocolate mouse cake. Came smaller. We got chocolate cake with some mouse like stuff. Some sort of orange flavor cream on plate with slice of candied orange. I ordered the petite prime rib, loaded potato, mushrooms, and I thought I would try a dessert Crème Brulé . This was my first time eating there and it's my last. I had the worst meal ever. My prime rib was delivered to me cold and had to be nuked and had no flavor whatsoever. The mushrooms were served cool and were just plain no flavor whatsoever. The loaded potato had no flavor at all and tasted weird. The crème Brulé was horrible in fact the whole meal was horrible and a totally waste of $$$. I have heard folks saying it was one of the best steakhouses in Stockton. I beg to differ it was the worse meal I've had in a long time. Amazing! I can't believe we had not tried this little gem out. The service was A1 and mainly the food, fire. I asked the server what wine he would recommend to go with my Filet mignon and he recommended there house wine (Oak, something) lol & let me tell you my dinner was delicious. We were so full but we had to try dessert. We had a vanilla gelato scoop paired with the Stockton Cheesecake, HIT THE SPOT. Pictures would of definitely helped I know, but just go visit them. First off, I want to say the service was good, check on us often and they provided everything we asked for. The wedge salad was so good, the bread was hot, and wine was excellent. We took a vegetarian friend, and the cauliflower steak was not available, that was disappointing, for us since we were celebrating an anniversary, and we can here because of the cauliflower steak. The rib eye was good, seasoned and made well, but it came with a lot of gristle fat. me and partner order the baked potato, and boy was that a disappointment, it was cold, and it was NOT made like I had it there several years ago, I remember it being hot, salted on the outside and so creamy inside, instead they put sour cream, cheese and bacon and it's cold. I feel like this menu that they have has been their menu for some time now, it's not a wide selection so they should have this menu orders made to perfection. First time dinning in today . The hostess was not very welcoming . The ambiance is perfect, nice and dark with music playing. Our server was nice, the small both they sat us at was very dirty . My sweater was dirty from the bottom edges with a very sticky substance. The filet mignon with the sauce flight was delicious! My favorite sauce was the peppercorn one. The broccolini wasn't very good, the mashed potatoes were very tasty, I highly recommend ordering them. The Star is Born (drink) I won't order again, it's a very basic sweet drink. We ordered a cocktail called the star is born which is like a lemon drop with cotton candy on top, very good could not tell there's alcohol in it. This restaurant is on the higher end of the scale. I would say a reservation is pretty much required unless you get lucky and find an opening. The service was average. They were nice but nothing above and beyond especially for the high prices. The mac and cheese was to die for. It was the best thing of the whole night. The oysters were also delicious as well. My baked potato was alright and my filet mignon was nice and juicy. We came tonight for my sons birthday! To make a long story short because we were there which seemed like forever, the waitress had to tell us how tired she was, the first drinks took a good 20 min to get to the table, apps took 40 min and then the dinner was really not great for the PRICE at the end of the night. It's a small, intimate restaurant. My husband surprised me with a Anniversary & Valentine's dinner with reservations. We walked in and we were greeted, first thought when I walked in was it was pretty dark. Our server was great, and noticed our plates were dirty with crumbs on them and replaced them immediately. Our food was delicious, I prefer the New York steak which was perfect. (Medium well) my husband ordered the Prime Rib which I had a couple of bites which was amazing. We did order the Shrimp appetizer which were jumbo shrimps but I wouldn't order them again, just because of the price for only 4 shrimps.
