Italian greyhound
Carlos A.

2nd time around here and didn't disappoint. We got the same level of service both times. 1st was a dinner at 7:30pm. 2nds was s dinner at 5:00pm. First time we tried the burger and fries. They were excellent. Pickles tasted unusual. Wife didn't not like them. 2nd time around we ordered The ribeye steak dinner and the burger again. I went there specifically for the 45 day aged cuts of beef. Unfortunately for me, they had suspended serving the 45 day age beef because THEY ARE CLOSING FOR RENOVATION in 3 week. They OPENING ANOTHER MARKET TAVERN IN LODI in the meantime thier staff can be employed. Its the same ownership. Anyways. I really liked the fact that this place offers steak sauces. I got the brown butter and red wine sauce with my steak. Steak cooked to my liking and sauces were amazing. Brown butter was my favorite of the both. Drinks were great too. The martini was dirty and the greyhound was refreshing. After dinner we got desserts and drink. Wife enjoyed her Gelato and coffee drink and I my espresso martini and pistachio chocolate cake. Check was 235+ tip. Will come back after renovations.

Everything was delicious. The food melted like butter. I got the prime rib. My other half got the salmon. Service was quick. The lighting was great. Dark but nice lights. Go if you want to be happy and eat great food.

I visited Prime Table on Friday, 4/5/24, around 8 PM for dinner. I decided to order Capitol Gem Oysters, the Kings Cut Prime Rib along with PT Mac N Cheese and Classic Creamed Spinach, and a glass of La Marca Prosecco wine. I enjoyed everything from start to finish. The oysters were nicely fresh and chilled; the Champagne Mignonette and Kimchi Cocktail Sauce complemented the appetizer well. The entrée was wonderful. The prime rib was a tad salty, but it was still tasty. The sides were both on point. Lastly, pairing the wine with the meal brought it all together. My server for the night was Mariah. She was kind and attentive. I truly appreciated her great hospitality. The inside of the restaurant was marvelous. I loved the dim setting with the lights and a candle on the table. Prime Table does offer delectable food. It is an admirable restaurant. I will still return here.

The vibes here are immaculate! Started the night off with the cocktail 'A Star Is Born'--highly recommend. It was perfectly balanced and set the tone for a great evening. The menu has a nice variety, and everything we tried was full of flavor. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere really made the whole experience feel special. Definitely a place I'd come back to!

Impeccable Service at Prime Table @ Lincoln Center, food was delectable, the Mary's Chicken Marsala was very scrumptious, the broccolini was lemony and the mashed potatoes were super creamy. The atmosphere was nice, it was cold outside so it would have been super nice to have the fireplace lit, super sexy interior , cushy seating , nice lighting , great service, very much enjoyed this meal.

My family brought me here to celebrate my birthday. Neither of us had dined here before. When my sister made the reservation over the phone, she told them we were celebrating my birthday, but upon arrival, the host and the server never mentioned it. When our server asked how we were doing, I replied, "great, we're celebrating my birthday". I believe her name was Shawna. Her attitude at the beginning was terrible. She was cold and robotic with us. She seemed as if she had somewhere else to be like she was in a hurry to rush us with our drink order. After she took our drink order and walked away, I commented to our table if anyone else noticed her attitude. We all agreed we were off to a bad start. Could it be that she had issue with serving folks like us? b/c that's what it felt like. Our money is just as green as anyone else's in that restaurant so why should we be treated differently. Oh but her friends were sitting in her section at a table near us and she was a totally different person with them. It was like day & night. I didn't even recognize her when she was smiled at them. The guy serving the bread though, he was SOO nice and a breathe of fresh air. His personality was so pleasant. Why couldn't he be our server? *sigh* The bread was warm and delicious. The cook on my ribeye was not uniform - some was medium and some was medium-rare (barely). I mentioned it to our server and she offered to have it remade. It was juicy (surprisingly) so I said it was fine. The seasoning on the ribeye was done well. I usually find myself reaching for the salt shaker at this point but it was not needed. I'm usually weary of places that give you a sauce for your steak b/c I feel that if it's seasoned properly, then you don't need a sauce. I appreciated that the sauces came on the side b/c I didn't use mine much. Our server changed her attitude during the meal - maybe she had an A-HA moment or something. We're all human and have our off days. She took a few photos for us, when we requested. Even though she knew it was my birthday, I was not brought a complimentary dessert. Even a scoop of ice cream would've been a small gesture of celebration. Seems they don't do complimentary desserts for special occassions. Upon leaving, she wished me a happy birthday. The food was good but the service we received would make me think twice about coming here again.

Mac n cheese

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago and everything was super delicious. The prime rib was flavorful and the desserts were amazing. The service was great and this is one of those restaurants where the interior is dimly lit, you also need a reservation I think not sure but I booked it using open table app.

What desert should have been. Nothing at all as described. What we got was not as good.
Debra V.

Food is great. Service ok. Only disappointment.... Our daughter who lives in another state set this up for us because it's our 40th anniversary. Added to reservation and talked to someone at restaurant. Choosing the desert as well. The restaurant failed to acknowledge. More of a disappointment to her as she really wanted to make it special for her father and I. I suggest if you are celebrating a special occasion do not just add to reservation. Tell the people there when you arrive. I didn't know till after we left and when I failed to mention she asked me about it. She was upset. Also the desert was not as described or previously ordered. Order the chocolate mouse cake. Came smaller. We got chocolate cake with some mouse like stuff. Some sort of orange flavor cream on plate with slice of candied orange. The other on menu is very different. And much better. This was not very good.

King's cut prime rib with mushrooms and mashed potatoes
Allison M.

A decent steakhouse option in Stockton if you're looking to splurge a little. We got the cheesesteak and king's cut prime rib with mushrooms and mashed potatoes. -King's cut prime rib with mushrooms and mashed potatoes (4/5): Pretty good! Comes with 2 sides and your choice of creamy mild, creamy hot, or straight horseradish. The king's cut would have been enough for my partner and I without feeling too full. - Cheesesteak (3/5): Not the most amazing cheesesteak we've ever had, but it can satisfy a craving - Butternut squash side (4/5): True to its description, very nutty with strong maple flavor. Great service and I love the cozy atmosphere.

Delicious! Great price for the quality of food and service. Definitely would come back. Mashed potatoes could have been warmer but that's my only complaint!

Ask the Community - Prime Table

Is there happy hour on food & drinks?

Is this AYCE like how they do it at Brazilian steakhouses?

No, it is not like a Brazilian steakhouse, just a classic steakhouse where you order one entree.

Hi, Do you offer corkage for BYOB? If so, what is your fee?

$20 per 750ml(standard size) bottle

Hello, we are seeking a great spot to have a true Wagyu A5 dinning experience. Does your location have on your menu? Before we drive to La or San Francisco.thank you

We often times will have it as a special but we do not have any on our menu currently.

Do they do gift cards? I really enjoyed my two meals there and would like to send as a gift to some colleagues.

Yes we sell gift cards. They are available at the restaurant after 4pm. We also sell them at our sister restaurant Market Tavern in $50 and $100 denominations.

Is there a corkage fee on outside wine?

Hi John, Yes, we charge a corkage fee of $18 for a 750ml bottle. Hope to see you soon…

I noticed the attire is dressy, would it be appropriate in casual jeans, casual shirt?

Should be fine I went in jeans

Does Prime Table get very busy during evening hours (5:30-8:00pm) on Saturday's?

It does, reservations are recommended

How is the French Onion Soup?

This place felt like a really elevated Applebees. And I don't use that derogatorily, and I know I used that same analogy before. But this type of elevated is actually more closer to an evening celebration out and you dress kinda noice or church nice. I like the corn bread, the steak, and coconut shrimp. Service is on point. It's a big place with lots of parking, I'd reserve if you can. I'd go back but honestly it's kinda expensive to keep going back so often which I said this is like church nice / evening out. There's a bar with tv too so can be a cool spot to watch the game at. This is a nice date night spot too with some good wine selection

Some plates were worth it, others weren't, and at the prices they're charging the gaps were hard to ignore. The appetizers were the highlight of the meal. The deviled eggs were a hit at the table and went fast. The jalapeño on each one was a nice touch, though the heat varied depending on which egg you grabbed since it was just a thin slice. The salmon cakes were solid, nothing to complain about. My mom's ceviche tostada was loaded, the avocado was generous and fresh, but the ceviche itself lacked the acidity you expect from the dish and had very little shrimp in it. She said it felt more like a lunch item than a dinner offering, though two of them were filling. My mom's friend had the steak frites, which was the standout plate of the night: a lean cut with a rich mushroom béchamel, well cooked, and the frites were fried rather than what you might expect, but the flavor delivered. My dad's spinach salad was underwhelming, overdressed with a balsamic that was too sharp and overpowered everything else. My ribeye was the disappointment. At $65 I expected better. It was thin, closer to pounded than what you'd expect from the cut, came out medium instead of medium rare, and didn't feel substantial for the price. The baked potato was a basic side, sour cream and onion, nothing more. The broccolini arrived at room temperature, borderline cold, which was unexpected. The au jus on the side didn't add much for me. Service was attentive but veered into overdone territory, the kind of performative politeness that signals they want a good tip more than they're genuinely being warm. It was noticeable. Also worth knowing: if you're seated near the windows, the afternoon sun can be blinding depending on when you go. The atmosphere is genuinely nice and this place works better as a brunch spot than a special occasion dinner destination. I've had better meals here before, which is why I know they can do better. One practical note: if you're parking in the disabled spots near the leasing center next door, the sidewalk doesn't connect to the restaurant entrance. You'll need to go through the parking lot to get there.
