Driving from Atlanta to Baltimore to run an errand for my family I stopped in Short Pump to break up the long drive and spent the night near here. After 530 miles I decided not to leave to find something for dinner and asked the front desk for some menus. They have me this one, one for Potbelly. And I spent about an hour perusing Grubhub, I decided on this place, because delivery was cheap and the food sounded tasty. I only ordered a bowl of their crab soup, and it was a generous portion. At first I was thinking it was just a creamy flavored broth but then my spoon hit the bottom of the container and there was SO MUCH CRAB I was shocked. It was the size of an entree take out container and it wasn't full to the top but there was enough soup for a meal. The soup came with a garlic hoagie roll that was a nice complement to the soup. I also ordered a medium white pizza and then barely got into it. I had two pieces and then basically passed out. Useful delivery system, contactless delivery to my hotel room door. I only read the reviews on GrubHub ahead of placing my delivery order, which was obviously an amateur move on my part. This place is simply not that great. Granted, I come from the land of Philly hoagies and classic Italian eateries galore, so perhaps my expectations were set too high. THE GOOD: Delivery was fast, pleasant, and accurate. They called ahead of time to ask if I wanted my Italian sub hot or cold. I was a little confused by the question because I only ever eat 'em cold, but I guess hot could be a thing too. My lasagna dish was pretty good as well. It's listed as homemade on their menu, and it's a fair portion for the price. The lasagna comes with a side salad and garlic bread also. The garlic spread was nice; the bread average. THE MEH: Club sandwich. It wasn't *bad*, but it also couldn't stand up to any of the other club sandwiches I've had from establishments in RVA. And for some reason, I've had several club sandwiches recently. THE PASS: Yep, the Italian sub falls here. I can't think of one positive thing to say about it. The meat randomly jutted out from the bread. The bread wasn't strong enough to effectively hold it. The meat itself was bland. The cheese was even bland. All around: It was a sad sight and no amount of doctoring it on my end made it at all savory. I didn't try the pizza, but I don't think I could be convinced to give them a second shot based on their sandwich quality. I am always super excited to find a pizza place that serves slices, and has new york style! What a pleasant surprise. Their pizza was very good, and I enjoyed every bite. The crust was just right. And thats very important to me. Service was great, I walked in at lunch time, no lines and it has the typical glass case with some pizzas already made. The plain cheese was all I needed and it satisfied my craving perfectly. This location is tucked away on pump rd in short pump in a strip of store... I never knew it was there but was so glad it was! They recently changed the name and that may be because of the poor reputation previously held. The food did not change however. It's not good. A lot of the pizza toppings are the frozen kind. I got a sausage pizza expecting a place calling itself Napoli pizza would provide an authentic experience. To my chagrin, it was the same lazy pre cooked, flash frozen chunks of unrecognizable "sausage" the size of rabbit pellets. Terrible. Im quite certain the pizza dough is also pre-made as it always has the same texture. The few experiences I do have there with the service were negative. A general lackadaisical attitude by the waitress on 2 occasions. The space is really nice with a beautiful brick oven and newer tables and booths but I will be avoiding Napoli from here on out until they take some more pride in the way they make their pizzas. read more

I wanted to like this place. It's close to our house and its a small local joint which I always prefer to the chains. The menu offered a decent selection, the staff were friendly and the food was ready fairly quick. Unfortunately the pizza was on par with what you'd get at a public school cafeteria or an amusement park. We may stop in again and try the subs/sandwiches. Hopefully those are better. read more

This was one of my favorites ... until recently. The food quality has gone downhill and now they have changed their French fries to be those awful ones with the weird coating on the outside. Before they were so fresh tasting and normal and now they just taste like a greasy potato with a weird texture. I know there are supply issues but don't change something that has been good for the last couple of years. Or buy potatoes and cut them yourself to stay fresh. I can't comment on the food because they didn't make it but i can tell you they seemed to care less that they didn't. I ordered 2 pizzas to go because I drive past it regularly and wanted to try it out. I was told the order would be ready in 25 minutes but when I arrived the young lady that took my order asked me if I had just placed it... I said no I order a half hour ago. Then the employees proceeded to wander around aimlessly looking for the ticket that was clearly never rang up. When I interrupted their pointless search with a question of how long it would take to get the pizzas the response I received was a shoulder shrug and a "I don't have a ticket so...?". This isn't the 1st time a mistake has been made on an order, however the response was 1st for me. I left and I won't be back. Hopefully ownership provides some much needed training on how to deal with customers because a simple " Sorry we will make it right now. Me and my family stayed here on vacation and were exhausted to go out to eat so we tried this place as they delivered. Word of advice get dressed and go get something... maybe I'm just spoiled living in NY with good food but this was the worst "Italian" food I've ever had. Everything was bland the sauces were very watery, there idea of cheesy garlic bread was a sub roll with butter and cheese. My daughter got ravioli's the meal was 12 dollars she got 5 ravioli's. My wife got a cold Italian sub it was missing salami, I said no onions they added onions. Moral of the story avoid this place at all cost. I have ordered Napoli's 2 or 3 times already. I'm new to Richmond, and I've been searching for a new favorite pizza place. I usually try a new pizza place every weekend. Last weekend I ordered delivery from Napoli's for the 3rd time. They always arrive way earlier than I expect, which is great. Their food is consistently hot, cooked properly, and delicious. The crust is good, not too doughy, or too chewy or too crispy. The sauce was exactly how I like it and the cheese was real and plentiful, as was the pepperoni. I ordered the small pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and it was Amazing. I have found my new pizza delivery place. As all my interactions have been delivery, I cannot speak to the restaurant itself, but I'm very happy with my delivery pizza. And tomorrow's Friday! Pizza night!! Service was laughable. My friend ordered and was charged for a burger combo and 2 slices of cheese pizza. Somehow the entire staff managed to forget about the pizza even though they managed to serve everyone who came in after us. 20 minutes later we had to actually remind them of this simple order. Another 20 minutes later and our order still had not been filled. Since we are human beings with lives and obligations we left, order still not even in progress. Today August 4, 2017. My wife called in our order, because I thought the mailer was attractive. I visited the original restaurant on West Broad Street. I told my wife that food was not frozen processed. My order was a steak and mushroom strombolis with peppers and onions. Neither my wife nor me ask if the steak was process frozen., well it was "not" fresh. There was very little meat mostly bread, i'm not sure if there was cheese, I taste some onion, no peppers or mushroom. Charging $10.00 for this sandwich was questionable at best. I used to really like this place when it was Apollo's and I don't know if it's new management or owners but I would not recommend this place anymore. I used to love ordering from here but I'm really frustrated. For one, I feel I was being highly overcharged during my last experience. I ordered a medium cheese pizza with no toppings for take out and my total was $17.95. Which confused me because the menu board behind read that a medium cheese pizza was $10.99 (no specials, just the standard price)...and when I confirmed with the cashier she said that a medium no topping pizza is in fact $17.95...does that sound insane to anyone else? Price aside, I had ordered about 40 minutes prior and they told me it would be about 25-30 minutes. No problem, but when I came in 40 minutes later, paid, and she went to go get the pizza, I was told they hadn't even started making it yet because they forgot. And then when I asked for a refund the manager was visibly reluctant to give me one, told the cashier there was no refund to give because my ticket was unpaid, *even though I had literally just paid*.
