Wow, that was a great sub. Hoagie. Sandwich. Whatever you call it, this was tasty. I followed the Yelp crowd and went with the Chicken Diablo. It was quite hot, with a Buffalo sauce that was nearly straight Tabasco. Whew! Plenty of chicken and cheese on here and the sweet peppers were very tasty. Even the Primo (medium) size is a goodly amount of food here.

RUDE cashier, (Racist) I believe so...I'm not sure if the guy understands "Everything" because he ask Mayo!sweets (yes!)

It had that welcoming, hometown vibe where everyone seemed comfortable, and you could tell the staff genuinely cared about the food and the people they were serving. I've had Italian subs all over the country and this one is honestly the best I've ever had. Fresh bread, quality meats, crisp toppings, and everything perfectly balanced. Nothing flashy, just an incredible sandwich made the right way. The biggest compliment I can give is that before heading to the airport to fly back to California, I made sure to stop here one more time. I knew I'd regret leaving without one last Italian sub and I even bought a shirt as a souvenir. If you're anywhere nearby, don't overthink it. This is one of those rare places that lives up to the hype. Great food, great people, and the kind of hometown atmosphere that makes you feel like you've been coming here for years!

The chicken picatta was so, so good- just the right amount of lemony goodness. The Marsala was my husband's favorite- he's said it's some of the best he's had. My daughter said her veal was delicious. Get the cannoli- even if you don't normally like cannolis. My daughter loved her gooey snickerdoodle butter cake topped with ice cream. The decor and staff are everything you want in a family-owned Italian restaurant. There was Sinatra music playing and My Cousin Vinny on the TV - it was great. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It is a small restaurant with limited seating. If you are pressed, make a reservation. Don't go here, if you want quick, impersonal service. Street parking, just a heads up.

I tried the meatball appetizer - it was decent but not really anything special. For dinner I had the chicken parm in a blush sauce which came with a side of gnocchi and my dining partner had grandmas Sunday gravy, again both decent. We skipped dessert because it was a decent amount of food. The other thing I'll mention is you're going to want to make reservations if you go. The entire restaurant seats what seems like 30 people.

The walls are red with a black wainscoting paneling and framed pictures, sconces, and a small wine rack can be found on the red part of the wall. The ordering counter is also nearby and has a display case with pizza pies in it. We were immediately seated after arriving and ordered the following: Medium holiday veggie pizza, which has mushrooms, spinach, broccoli, ricotta, green peppers, and diced tomatoes. We didn't realize that the pizza didn't have red sauce but we still liked it. Hubs said that he needs to read the menu closer next time when ordering pizza. This wasn't the first time we accidentally got a no sauce pizza. LOL. Daughter and I shared Vongole, which is linguini tossed with 12-15 little neck clams with your choice of white or red sauce. She chose red sauce. We also got a choice of soup and she chose pasta fagioli. She liked the clams and said that the entree was nice and saucy. I prefer white clam sauce, though. So, I will try that next time. Fried calamari- calamari golden fried squid with side of homemade sauce. I liked that the calamari wasn't breaded. This is my favorite type of calamari. We should've ordered linguini on the side and this was Hubs' favorite dish of the night. The place filled up quickly after we arrived. Hubs had been wanting to try Italian food in Delaware. This place is located in a strip mall so there's plenty of parking. We were expecting it to be a fancy restaurant when we saw the exterior and were pleasantly surprised that it was a pizzeria. The place felt very homey and we loved it. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely return when in the area to try other items on the menu!

And I need to be clear, I am a pastry girl. I have eaten my fair share of danishes. This was something completely different. The pastry was unbelievably flaky and layered, with this slightly crisp, almost crunchy outside and what tasted like the lightest glaze over it. Then you get to the cheese filling and somehow the whole thing is just perfect. The textures together were ridiculous. I genuinely remember taking the first bite and thinking, what IS this magical delight?! It may sound dramatic, but it was one of the most delightful things that has ever touched my lips. I cannot understand how these pastries are coming out of this little cafe in Delaware and aren't being shipped worldwide. Boro Cafe, PLEASE figure out nationwide shipping because I would happily have a box show up at my door. I'm writing this review a month after the summit, and I still wake up some mornings wishing I had access to that cheese danish. If you are anywhere near this place, do yourself a favor and go get one. And then eat another one for me.
