My wife and I aways loved their Roast Beef, but the last two times we had it on a Hoagie, it seems like they changed to a lesser quality.

Never had a bad hoagie here. I usually stop in when I'm in town. My only advice is that the owner could be a bit nicer.

We got some bread for the table, which was really good with the maple butter. The bruschetta was pretty good, and for my meal, I ordered the Cajun ribeye with green beans and asparagus on the side, all cooked perfectly. Service was on point throughout the evening - our server was very attentive and helpful, and the ambiance is really nice inside as well. Charming design and good times, and I would come back for a future work dinner. Prices are pretty good too.

Our booth was in the bar areaI, which was crowded, but we didn't have a problem hearing each other. I ordered the filet mignon and he ordered prime rib. Let me tell you, this kitchen knows how to cook a steak! Mine was medium and cooked to perfection - it practically melted in my mouth. I have never had a bad meal here and this was no exception. All of the servers were attentive and cordial. John, the manager, took our orders, and when we had finished our meals he brought me a dish of ice cream with a candle in it. We will go back again and again and again. Highly recommend!

It was understandably packed so we arrived early were offered a table in their outdoor tent - but I wish we opted to wait for a table inside. The outdoor tent, while appreciated to accommodate extra guests and while heated decently for a cold evening, was cheesy and decorated with grocery-store decor and flowers - it felt like a high school dance. Just was not the vibe we were expecting or hoping for. The service was also noticeably slow which I also imagine was a combination of being in the tent and it being a holiday. On the plus side, all of our food was incredible. There were lots of specials and everything we had was delicious. We will absolutely be back just for the food, but will avoid the holiday rush and will opt to sit in their "usual" dining room going forward.

The service was top notch and super accommodating, and the ambiance of the place itself was cozy and upscale, but overall the food wasn't doing it for me. To start we ordered oysters which were fresh. They'd run out of Blue Points which were noticeably better from the other option they ended up having to give us since just three were left, which were just a tease at that point. The mussels were in a garlic and white wine sauce that was just too sweet and not really balanced enough, and many of the mussels were still closed or almost closed which I know better than to mess with. My steak special was the best thing I had here with mashed potatoes and crunchy greens, but even the au poivre sauce wasn't very flavorful. Still, my steak came out cooked just how I asked for it, and it was a good cut of meat. The waitress did say the kitchen was closing early that night since the chef's wife just had a baby so maybe it was just an off night. It was packed though so it seems like locals really like this place.

We typically eat upstairs. Our server was pleasant but new for us. Greg the owner stopped by as he normally does and we had a brief chat. A couple of cocktails a spicy Hawaiian Margarita and an Aviation. Both were perfect. We ordered a dozen oysters two types and they were clean and fresh. For mains we got the surf and turf and 8 oz. Filet. All perfectly prepared. My side was the Brussels sprouts and they were great but different from what I remember. Greg said that the new chef added chili aioli. It was a good add. We had a bottle of the Barolo from the wine list it was very good great bouquet and went well with our meals. This place never disappoints one of our regular stops in town. Mark & Nancy.

We were ultimately waiting ~15-20 minutes from the time that we arrived on site since we had put ourselves on the wait list an hour prior. Staff is super friendly given all the incessant "is my table ready?" questions that they get from folks. Things are pretty packed here but we got a table, and were helped and served quickly, and checked on regularly. Our table got the usual: Cactus Blossom, ~6 baskets of bread over the course of the meal, and individual meals. We shared a 12 oz. ribeye w/ ribs combo. Today it was actually not as good as usual, a bit more medium rather than medium rare, and the ribs were dry on the outer half. However, still a completely filling and enjoyable meal all things considered. Pro-tip: put the last bits of your Cactus Blossom in a bun with both butter and sauce for a treat that is much more unhealthy and delicious than you bargained for. To boot, we asked the staff to put our celebrant on the saddle, even though we weren't celebrating his birthday, and they happily fulfilled our wish. Folks here love a good time, even though they are probably easily clocking 30K+ steps filling all their tables.

The one positive point is that the steaks themselves are consistent. The cuts and quality control for how the steaks are cooked are the high point - nothing available here is super high grade but you will get what you selected and it is generally cooked to your specification. However, the sides are hit or miss. Fries tend to be soggy and soft. The Caesar salad was once dependable as a "good" side but they seem to have reduced the quality and even the amount of dressing they put on it, maybe as a cost saving measure? To me the biggest issue here is the drastic inconsistency in quality of service. Sometimes you score a great server, but I'd say 75% of the time it is someone who seems to lack training in basic steps of service (getting the order right, following up on satisfaction a few minutes after food delivery, following up on drinks, etc.). It's a shame as this location had higher standards in the past.

First impressions: We started at the bar and when I arrived it was almost the end of happy hour. Nai the bartender was nice, just not very engaging. I ordered the passionfruit margarita it was okay, but the seeds clogged the straw, making it hard to drink. We switched to mango margaritas, which were much better just toooo much ice. One in our group had an old fashioned and enjoyed it. Salad bar / sides: This was honestly the highlight for me. They had a great variety: Caesar salad (very good) Smoked salmon & seafood salad Cold roasted garlic Rice and fried rice Pasta Oxtail stew (needed more flavor; too much fat on the pieces I had) A black bean and meat stew (VERY flavorful and hearty! my favorite) Fried bananas (just okay) Fried salmon bites (my friend liked them) Lobster ravioli (just okay) They had other options on the salad bar I just can't remember. The meats (the main event): This is where it fell short. Out of our group of five, only one person really enjoyed the meats. The rest of us found them Dry and Lacking flavor I tried the ribeye, shrimp and lamb--all were disappointing. I mean I only had a slither and only took a bite and didn't finish the rest. So disappointing. Service: This is where they did great and why they received the three stars: Brianna (hostess) was amazing!!! very welcoming, helpful and engaging Jonnatn our server was attentive and solid Chef Iago was also friendly and funny! He knows how to follow directions! Lol Overall, We had a great time celebrating, but the main attraction, the meats did not deliver. I wouldn't travel back just for the sides and drinks.
