The first 2 were really good, but I think they gave me the wrong drink, because the one with BT didn't taste like it had any bourbon in it at all. But the waiter switched it out for me with a Tequila OF, which was really good. They brought out two salads for the table, and their Cesar Salad was really good, the dressing was so good. I ordered the Australian Lamb Chops, which were amazing. Simply seasoned, but done so well. I ordered a side of Chimichurri sauce, and it was not needed at all. We made reservations once through OpenTable and once by phone -- both were easy, and reservations are probably a good idea since they stay busy. The food has been great both times. On our first visit, my husband and I shared the ribeye and loved the flavor. Their Caesar salad is also surprisingly unique and delicious with broccolini instead of a traditional Caesar style. I also really appreciated being able to order a single Rockefeller oyster since most places require a half dozen minimum. The second time we visited for an early Mother's Day dinner with my son and shared the off-menu tomahawk, which was excellent as well. The only consistent issue we've had has been steak temperature. We usually order medium, but their interpretation of medium has come out significantly more rare than expected. The first time, we had to send the steak back, and they asked us to identify only the undercooked portions to recook separately, which was a bit awkward and something we hadn't experienced before at a steakhouse. The second time, we tried being more specific and even requested an approximate temperature around 140°, but the steak came out closer to medium-well. That said, the flavors, atmosphere, and service have been so enjoyable that we'll absolutely keep coming back. We're just hoping we can eventually land on the perfect medium steak on a future visit.

The food is still sitting in our refrigerator because it wasn't something we ordered or wanted, so unfortunately, we feel like we essentially threw away $25. The shrimp bisque was good but I've had better- for example near by Capital grill and definitely not closed to any of the bisque at fisherman's wharf. But you know what, when I got chunk of crab and shrimp I started to change my mind that it was getting pretty good. Cheese steak roll was pretty good but real rich. Calamari had good flavor but extremely sweet. The whole table agreed that there was unnecessary amount of sugar in there. Steak was nice and thick- however it would've been better if it had more salt and seasoning. The steak was cooked perfect medium rare. Texture was soft but I was slightly suspicious of meat tenderizer in there. Just a thought. Cheese cake was good but again, I've had better. Service: service was good. Although since it was table size to acclimate a party - everyone was attentive. Price: in my opinion it is overpriced. I.usually put price insight in the beginning but I am giving my insight on this last because- overall the experience and food was good. Once we were seated I started by ordering the Long Time Listener Cocktail (Bourbon, Blackberry, Mint, Fernet-Branca) which was excellent and probably my favorite drink of the evening. For my other drink I tried the Structured Settlement (coconut washed tequila, peach, popcorn orgeat, and lime). This drink was also good, but not as good as the long time listener. For food, we started with the Manchego-Herb Biscuits which were flaky, soft, and didn't need any butter. After that we tried the Heirloom Tomato Salad (provencal granola, mozzarella ice cream, and peaches) which was perfect. The large tomato with the crunchy granola, olive oil, and mozzarella and peaches were the perfect blend of flavors. I couldn't stop eating this dish. However, during my visit for dinner yesterday, I witnessed something that was extremely disturbing and completely changed my impression of the restaurant. I observed what appeared to be the manager, Bailey, reprimanding the hostess and then reaching toward and touching/grabbing at her cleavage area while saying something to her. The hostess appeared to be very young, possibly around 19 or 20, and she looked visibly uncomfortable and frightened. I sincerely hope this young woman is okay and that this situation is taken seriously and thoroughly addressed by Crawford & Son. No employee should ever feel intimidated, uncomfortable, or subjected to inappropriate physical contact in the workplace. The only reason I am leaving a one-star review is because of what I witnessed and what I perceived as deeply inappropriate behavior toward this young hostess. I hope management investigates this matter immediately.

We also had the dream team behind the bar: Chris, Shaq, and Gabby! They made the entire experience even better with their friendly personalities, outstanding service, and attention to detail. They were engaging, fun, and made us feel like valued guests from the moment we sat down. They truly elevated our evening. The only disappointment was the change in the Malbec selection. We were longtime fans of The Seeker, and the new Alta Vista simply doesn't compare. In our opinion, it lacks the smooth, rich flavor that made The Seeker such a great pairing with the meal. My boyfriend ordered the Fireman's Chicken and by the looks of it when it came out, someone should have called the fire department while it was cooking! It was so burnt it was black. The only flavor present was charred meat and it was the most dried out chicken we have ever had (unfortunately I tried it). The collard greens were bitter with little flavor and the black-eyed peas still had crunch to where they weren't cooked all the way. To say all this, to have a $100 bill was HIGHLY unappreciated as it was one of the worst meals we have had in a LONG time. I definitely could see why they were not busy. The food was cooked terrible.
