I've been wanting to try prince street pizza for years and I'm glad AZ finally has a spot! There's no seating but still thankful they exist They had tons of options & I ultimately chose a large box of the naughty pie. It was cooked perfect & when I ate it later in the air fryer it tasted even better! Service was quick & I love the decor and photos all over the wall. First things first to cover the bases. It's takeout only so plan accordingly. You can order whole pies or by the slice. If you do by the slice and there's only one left please don't fight over it. Prince street served up both New York style and square pies. The menu has lots of creativity and everything sounds good. I opted to get slices to try more. Ordering is easy. The staff seemed passionate about pizza and told us their favorites. Although you can't eat inside, the vibes were cool. It reminded me of the legendary establishments you go to in the northeast. I ordered a spicy spring, naughty pie and an oakey Smokey. The spicy spring is their most popular slice, the OG. It was moderately spicy piled with loads of pepperoni. My favorite however was the naughty pie. The hot honey levels it up a lot. I only wish there was more vodka sauce because the little bit I could taste was amazing. Lastly, the oakey smokey was also great. The smoked mozzarella was top notch but I have to say the original pizza sauce was one of the more unique ones I've tasted and one of my favorites! read more

Yeah, another yummy pizza place in town. NYC inspired pizza slices. We went last night got A Neo slice and a sicilian slice. I have never that I can recall, been to their NYC locations so cannot compare but will on my next trip and update review. GOOD sausage not that junky stuff and fresh ingredients. On a side note, it is not very NY but I might have to come back for a slice of the pickel one. Lol man the look I got from my buddy. What can I say. I LOVE PICKLES? Haha A side note Please remember burning through crust is a no no no. Lol still delish even though they burnt the bottom. Some people like it that way but not me. Even burnt yummy though and the Sicicilian slice was delish. We are going back tomorrow. I work nearby so I see this place as a fat inducing issue. Ha! Be forewarned, this is more a togo place with no tables inside and we went late so fewer choices. They are opened really late which is a nice option for night owls and students. We ended up eating in the car. Mill used to have places to sit outside but we saw none anymore nearby. 2nd Time I have tried Prince Street. This time was excellent. Piping hot and great flavor. It also came with some of their "Not Ranch" sauce. The first pizza was Spicy Summer - a spicy pepperoni pizza. Really enjoyed it. The sauce has a nice flavor to it and the crust (a bit thicker than I typically order) was crisp on the bottom and had a nice texture in the middle. The Sunset Square is a take on a cheese pie. The sauce is a bit sweeter and there is plenty of cheese. The "Not Ranch" is quite tasty as well. Is like ranch, but with a nice garlic kick. It is a take out joint, so ambiance is what it is. That said, it was clean and inviting. The service was great. My first experience had some gaps, but they quickly reached out to see what they could do to improve. While there are many great pizza places in town, I finally made it to Prince St. Pizza on Mill Avenue to check out what the hype was about. It's thought for lunch yesterday that I would try one of their Sicilian SoHo Squares and an original Neapolitan pizza slice. They both were tasty, and the service was good. Unfortunately, most of their squares were spicy, which wasn't my cup of tea, and there is no seating area in the restaurant which is predominantly for to-go orders. I ordered a Sicilian SoHo Square made with a thick, crisp and fluffy crust. I chose the Sunset Square, made with Sweet Marinara, Fresh Mozzarella, Shredded Mozzarella, and Pecorino Romano. I also chose a slice of New York Style Round pizza with pepperoni with crispy crust. Both were different but tasty and served quite hot. I would definitely try both of these again. I just wish the other Sicilian SoHo Squares had non-spicy meats on them. Prince St. Pizza has been around for the last 14 years in New York City. They have expanded to other states like Florida and California and even Canada, and now they have a location in Arizona. It resembles a New York City slice shop experience. While they sell pizzas as whole pies, I settles on just slices, which were fresh and tasty. They are open from 11 AM to 10 PM from Sunday through Wednesday, 11 AM to 12 Midnight on Thursday, and 11 AM to 3 AM on Friday and Saturday. This location is located near ASU, serves lunch, dinner, late night, and catering options. You can join their loyalty program at https://princestreetpizza.com/loyalty. First things first, $41 for a 18" round pizza. DAMN! We chose to customize a pizza and did the Old School (Pepperoni) on the full pizza and the other half sausage, ricotta, garlic, jalapenos, and onions. Slices are available for $5.75-7/each. Round 10" personal pizzas are available for $11-13/each. While pricy, they use a water filtration system to replicate New York water and their ingredients are FRESH! I could really taste that garlic and they were generous with the ricotta. Not sure how many New York style pizzerias we have, but we would definitely splurge on Prince St. Pizza again! read more

Hot diggity dog!!!!! This is some good a** pizza. Worth the hype for real. Me and the hubs don't even know which one we liked the most, 3 different slices and they all win first place. Actually the one I would order again was called THE GREEN MACHINE. So much garlic. Actually everything we cherish most in our food was in this pizza. THE NAUGHTY PIE wow! The hot honey was not cheated, excellent SPICY vODKA. Perfect amount of heat. It is the best kind of spice because it isn't spicy at all until after you finish the bite. I personally do not like eating pizza crust, just seems like a lot of bread and a waste of calories. So for me I wouldn't want the New York style squares again, because the entire pizza is thick and like eating a loaf of crust. I definitely would do the rounds, I like the thin crust. My hubs loves crust, and usually eats my crust, but even he liked the round style more "triangle". They serve NOT RANCH, that was incredible. Top #2 ranches I have ever had and we love ranch. I walked in and immediately saw the Little Nero's Pizza box from Home Alone. This made me so incredibly pleased as a Home Alone fan. Did y'all watch Macaulay Culkin on Last Meals? Anyways, pizza talk time: Spicy Spring (Fra Diavolo Sauce, Pepperoni, Fresh Mozzarella, Pecorino Romano): One of their most recommended slices and THE slice that could booby-trap your tastebuds. Little crisp pepperoni cups that holds hot oil like artery-clogging nectar. The amount of pepperonis on one slice is enough to make your skirt flip. This is getting the J-Wow, "WOW!" If you like pepperonis, you'll like this slice. Prince Perfection (Marinara Sauce, Fresh Mozzarella, Pecorino Romano, Extra Virgin Olive Oil): If Buzz wanted to steal this slice from me, him and his tarantula can have it. Perhaps it was because I tried this slice after the Spicy Spring but the marinara tastes off-puttingly sweet. This is one of their recommended slices but I don't think it's for me. Give me savory, not super sweet! Oakey Smokey (Original Pizza Sauce, Smoked Mozzarella, Pecorino Romano, Fresh Basil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil): It's advised that you get the square Sicilian sliced pizza at Prince Street but I wanted to give one "round slices" a try. Oakey Smokey it is! It's a classic and solid slice of New York style pizza. You won't be mad about it but in my opinion, the Sicilian slices are what you're here for. The crust is that beautiful. Crisp on the bottom but with enough chew to remind you that you are very much eating carbs. No micro-machines, blowtorches, or glass ornaments on the floor to keep me trapped as a loyal customer. Having been to the OG spot in NY I can say that this definitely did not hold up to the expectation but it was a solid square slice. The pepperoni was charred nicely and it had a nice spice to it. The crust was slightly over baked which made it hard to chew and I think it needed more cheese. The bigger disappointment was the vodka square. This was pretty much only vodka sauce and bread. Little to no cheese on it. Vodka sauce was totally overpowering everything. For almost $8 a slice you would expect something better than this. I went to Prince St., Pizza after a night out with friends. The green machine was calling my name . Slices were about 6 to 7 dollars. A whole pizza was $41 which is kind of shocking to me. But the quality was super delicious. The dough was amazing, the toppings were amazing and they had garlic powder, red peppers, and oregano for you to use as much as you please! I definitely want to go back and try different flavors. The shop itself was kind of small but it's also not necessarily a sit down place so overall the vibe was great very New York. read more

The McCallister's knew what they were doing ;) I first founds this place on Instagram and the Home Alone pop up caught my attention, so I was excited to see a Tempe location! Unlike Kevin who wanted plain cheese, I love a good margarita or Neapolitan, and this one did not disappoint! The dough is just the right amount of doughy and crispy without being greasy or tough. The sauce is my preferred balance of sweet and spicy, and now I'm definitely going to try the pasta sauces they make. As a surprise, I got to try the spicy spring and naughty pie (I believe that's what the squares are)... and OMG *chefs kiss* Thank you to the kitchen and staff for the special treat! Absolutely one of the best pizza you can get in Arizona. Prince Street Pizza comes from New York and they have incredible pizza that is perfect in every way. Both are incredible and can't go wrong with any of those two pizzas. The Naughty pie had great crunch, a nice sweetness from the hot honey on the Naughty pie, and a slightly spicy pepperoni. The Oakey Smokey. was a bit on the lighter side and the sauce was incredible. They need to bottle that pizza sauce and sell it. We came here on a random Thursday night and it was packed. The size of this place is overwhelming small, there is no where to wait for your pizza from how cramped it is. The pizza itself has good quality ingredients. Their ranch is trash, maybe that's why they refer to it as "not ranch"? I was disappointed with their crust. The four cheese pizza is dry and the cheeses don't have enough flavor without their garlic sauce or hot honey. 2/5 The vodka was fine, not enough sauce. All I was able to taste was the bread. But the sauce flavor was decent. 3/5 Spicy spring was decent, had a lot of pepperoni. 3/5 The naughty pie was the favorite among us and the only pie we would go back for. The balance of flavors was great. Sweet from the honey, salty from the cheese and pepperoni, and the red sauce was a bit spicy. 4/5 Get their garlic sauce (4 cups minimum) to dip your pizza in. While living in NYC and LA, I've been to Prince Street multiple times in both cities and always loved it, so I was thrilled to discover a location in Tempe on my recent trip. Unfortunately, this location falls very, very short of other Prince Street Pizza locations I've been to. First, the service was not good -- the workers here seem to primarily be college kids (not inherently a bad thing) who are more interested in chatting with friends and getting through the shift than actually helping customers. I ordered my pizza and the woman working the counter chatted it up with two customers who were eating, seemingly forgetting about my pizza in the oven. When my pizza came out, the bottom of the crust was burned from sitting on the hot oven, to the point that it was so hard I had to rip/cut off the bottom edge because it was inedible. Went for lunch with a friend and order several slices of pizza during the week. We ordered The Veggie Original $6.25 a slice, The Naughty Pie $7 a slice and The Green Machine $6.25 a slice. The pizza pies are already made and once you order the slices get reheated. The restaurant only consists of the lobby to order and then you stand to the side and wait for your order. There are no seating inside or outside. Our food order was given quickly. Since there was no seating we had to go back to our office at ASU and by the time we got back unfortunately our pizza was cold. Our feedback was the pizzas did not taste good at all (super disappointed), they did not have any flavor, the sauce was bland, the crust/bread was dry, hard and overwhelming taste of grease and ricotta. It reminded me when you overheat a pizza slice and the crust requires a lot of chewing to be able to break it down and pass it through. Friendly service and restaurant that is quick and easy to grab something to eat. No seating in and no open seating around the restaurant. This pizza restaurant was all over the news and had massive lines when it first opened, so I was extremely excited to go when it slowed down a little. It was not worth the hype at all. If you go, just a heads up that there ate no lunch specials and you will be paying $6-$7 for a slice of pizza. We bought 3 slices and spent $21. The pizza is extremely greasy, not very flavorful and there are limited options. I don't mean the cardboard pizza places have been giving us for years- I am talking fluffy, rich, soft, amazing GF pizza. And the sauce + toppings? Perfect. My husband had a 10"- his was good, not lifechanging like mine but really when you can only eat GF pizza you have no idea what it's like to find a place like this. This pizza was absolutely delicious. The flavor and taste of the vodka sauce paired with the hot honey was a perfect match. I'm a former New Yorker and this pizza did its justice. The crust was crispy and delicious and full of flavor. In true NY fashion, THEY DONT HAVE RANCH, which I love because ranch is an insult to good pizza. The "not ranch" garlic sauce pairs nicely with the pizza crust even though the pizza doesn't need it at all. The service was great and friendly and they were very accommodating. The space is small and it's take out only, something we didn't realize until we got there, but that's fine. I would love a sit down location in the future, but that's me being selfish. I totally get staying true to the real essence of a NY pizza shop. I've been wanting to try Prince Street Pizza since they opened! They offer round pies and square pies. The round pies are the typical NY-style that you would expect - thin and floppy. The square pies are something else entirely... more of a Detroit-style that speaks to my heart! I have celiac, so I need to eat gluten-free (which typically sucks because you pay more and get less). That is definitely the case here at Prince Street. They only offer the square pies in gluten-free... and they need extra time to defrost the crusts and bake them. That takes ~45 mins. PRO TIP: call ahead so they can get a head start on that process. And you will definitely pay more for the gluten-free - mine was a little over $24 before the tip. With the gluten-free pizza, you get two large rectangle slices (or four decent-sized square slices if you cut them in half). I opted for the Spicy Spring... and from a purely toppings and sauce standpoint, it was excellent. But, that crust... oh no. The gluten free pizza is amazing. Heads-up, if you order a pie, it's only 4 squares (not the same size as a tradition pie here).
