I was pretty satisfied by this pizza. The size is good and crust is the perfect crunch. The spicy vodka pizza was the best by far imo, just because of the sauce. The naughty pie was also pretty good--this is one of their best sellers which has pepperoni and hot honey. This location is counter service/to-go only and pretty small inside. You can buy by the slice or buy whole pies. Free parking is nearly impossible on Mill Ave, so you may be better off paying $2 at the garage so you can walk over, pick up food, then dip. That's the only thing I'm knocking down points for, since the pizza was not as hot anymore by the time we found somewhere to sit and eat. read more

Met up here with a friend a few weeks ago for a quick lunch. I had never been here before. The food was really good. I loved the thin crust on the pizza as it wasn't super filling. Tommy provided excellent customer service to myself and my husband. Something that caught my attention was also the superb experience he provided the customer after us who seemed visually impaired. Tommy went above and beyond with naming pizza types as well as guiding the gentleman around the shop as well as taking the time to walk the gentleman to the patio area which is away from the pizza shop. I've driven by this place a couple times but the line was always sooo long! But today, was my lucky day since I drove by and the line was actually inside the store! I was shocked at how good this pizza was. I've never had Chicago style pizza I actually like but this was sooo good. The spicy pepperoni was probably my favorite since there was so much pepperoni which was also worth an honorable mention in itself. It also traveled surprisingly well and still had a great texture an hour later when I got home, still nice and crispy on the bottom! This Moreno family pizzeria first opened in New York City in 2012, serving legendary Sicilian "SoHo" square slices and Neapolitan-style pizza. He hooked me up with a nice selection of slices, one more delicious-looking than the next. Their menu offers pizza by the slice or the whole pie. Before the Tempe location opened, I saw the exterior of the building and felt excited to try it once it opened as a pizza place. I researched Prince St. Pizza and discovered that it originally opened in New York City in 2012. Pizza is my favorite food, and I enjoy a good New York-style slice of pizza. The Tempe location had its grand opening on August 28th. Upon hearing about the length of the line that day, I decided to try it for myself the following day. I got there about half an hour after they opened, and there was already a considerably long line outside the door. Regardless, I got in line and waited. As I approached the building's entrance, I noticed that Prince St. Pizza had a rewards program. Once I realized I could earn bonus points simply by signing up, I decided I could not pass up the opportunity. The staff warmly greeted me upon entering the building. Based on what I saw from the inside, I realized it was a grab-and-go kind of pizza place (which was okay with me). When it was my turn to order, one of the staff members asked me how my day was going, and I replied that it was going well while asking them how theirs was. He said he appreciated my asking how he was doing before inquiring about the pizza I would like to try. Since it was my first time, I tried their simplest slice, the Neapolitan Original Prince (their version of a cheese pizza). It was one of the best New York-style pizzas I have ever had. I have since returned and tried their Sicilian Meat Lovers slices, which were not only delicious but also had a texture that reminded me of garlic bread. So I'm not sure if it was just because we went at 730p on a Wednesday or if this is the norm but the pizza was ... I don't know maybe sitting too long?? I've been wanting to try Prince Street Pizza since they opened! They offer round pies and square pies. The round pies are the typical NY-style that you would expect - thin and floppy. The square pies are something else entirely... more of a Detroit-style that speaks to my heart! I have celiac, so I need to eat gluten-free (which typically sucks because you pay more and get less). That is definitely the case here at Prince Street. They only offer the square pies in gluten-free... and they need extra time to defrost the crusts and bake them. That takes ~45 mins. PRO TIP: call ahead so they can get a head start on that process. And you will definitely pay more for the gluten-free - mine was a little over $24 before the tip. With the gluten-free pizza, you get two large rectangle slices (or four decent-sized square slices if you cut them in half). I opted for the Spicy Spring... and from a purely toppings and sauce standpoint, it was excellent. But, that crust... oh no. Kinda doughy and chewy, which is not like the regular (i.e. non-gluten-free) version. Maybe order it well-done and it would be better? I tossed my leftover pizza in the toaster oven at home and it was definitely better once the crust got crispy. Next time I will be sure to call ahead... and ask for it well-done... and will hopefully be able to increase my rating to five stars! I'd probably give this place a 3.5 if I was just rating it off of both pizzas I ate, but I'll round up to 4 since the workers were super nice and the naughty pie on its own was quite good! My little cousin and I came in to get a slice kind of towards the end of the night, so we just chose from what was already in the display case. We got one slice of the boozy broome and one slice of the naughty pie to share. The worker who took our order ended up cutting the slices for us and gave us one slice each of the broome since they were small (super nice of her!). Being that my cousin and I are from a NY, the broome didn't quite meet our expectations in terms of a ny style slice. The crust was good but the cheese wasn't gooey at all and the sauce was a little too light. While the naughty pie isn't NY style, the flavors and hot honey were great! We had what started out as a bumpy experience yesterday where we called ahead to make sure we could take part in the really cool Home Alone Little Niro's promotion and were told we could get a commemorative cup with a purchase of a slice. When we got there, it was very packed, which is understandable but after 20 minutes in line, we got to the front and the employee told us that we were not able to get a cup without buying a large pizza. This was disappointing as we made the trip especially for the cup and decided to call it a night and my wife reached out to let Price Street know via social media of our disappointment. The next morning Morgan, a manager called and personally apologized and actually drove to our apartment with a large pizza and 4 Home alone cups! We were shocked and amazed by how Above & Beyond they went to resolve what was initially a frustrating situation! The pizza here does not match up to where I grew up and only a few places come somewhat close but Arizona has its pizza and New York has its own. The pizza here is more thick dough with a cheese topping and fixings you can't change up. They wouldn't even put some veggies on a meat lover. My husband and I first discovered this pizza in New York and we were OBSESSED!! we went almost every day while visiting LOL. So when we saw a location was opening here in Arizona, we were beyond excited. The pizza is just as delicious as we remembered! The only tricky part is the parking and location.... Loved the experience food wise. I have had PSP in LA and NY. It's always fairly consistent. I will say I actually liked the round a bit better at this Tempe location than back in LA. Word to the wise, order ahead! There were a bunch of people waiting. The counter is slammed. There's no need for all that waiting online. If you want a couple slices just order a 10 inch and move on. The parking here is a nightmare. It's smack in the middle of Mill. There's construction. There's no where to park. It's awful. That probably was their intent because it's a busy area. I parked illegally and just went in to get my pick up order after circling 3 times. Anyway my food was ready when I got there. And it was all very good. There is NO room to be eating your food in there. So do not go with the intention of sitting down and eating. I've now been 4 times to PSP around the country. The grandma or upside down whatever you want to call it is their best pie In The square format. It's not the same sauce as the traditional cheese round. Get it. Do not get the salads.
