He is extremely professional, yet acts like he is your best friend and treats you as one. My fiancé initially purchased my engagement ring from a pretty well-known .com retailer and we ended up running into a whirlwind of issues related to the craftsmanship of the ring that resulted in us returning my engagement ring. We were absolutely devastated. I mention this situation at all to give you some comparison to how vastly different it was working with Andrew and the team at Princess Jewelers. After hearing my engagement ring woes, one of my coworkers recommended I pop in because she had gone in for a custom set of earrings and had an INCREDIBLE experience. That week my fiancé and I went in and were FLOORED at how honest, kind, and helpful these folks were. We discussed our budget for the ring openly and were met with nothing but excitement at Princess Jewelers. In a previous big box store shopping experience, the discussion of our budget was not taken seriously by the salesperson and when we pressed that our budget was what we could swing financially, we were all but rushed out of the store. Everything from that initial consultation, to planning and selecting a setting, and even getting down to the minute details of the ring was absolutely incredible. Andrew and the team went above and beyond all of our highest expectations and we are so excited that as we enter a new chapter in our life as a married couple, we have a jeweler for life. All their staff is super friendly, and don't make you feel rushed or pressured. The owner Andrew is FANTASTIC. Andrew helped me in understanding the insurance claims process in NH and how it works when purchasing jewelry . Shopped there several times - never again. I've found them to be disorganized (for a while they could not find my order in the system) and unreliable (a simple job cites as being done in 2-3 days took as many weeks). They didn't see either of these as problems. By the way - if you own a business and have a car with a vanity plate that clearly ties you to the business, you may want to not repeatedly park your car spanning the middle of two spots directly adjacent to your business. read more

Let me start out by saying that I wish I could have sent this review with zero stars. The operation that Andrew & Sean (owners) run is all around shady. 1. They sold me a returned stone that I'm fairly certain wasn't the same one I thought I was purchasing. When I received the ring after it was set there was a large visible inclusion. 2. My fiancé and future mother in law went back to find a replacement stone. They sold them a new stone with a lower grading and charged me an addition $1100. I live out of state so was unable to be there myself. Come to find out, they didn't even have the stone certified so I had them do that which I had to fight them over to not charge me for. They tried to tell me is cost $500 to certify but online it says $35. 3. My future mother in law called to ask why they didn't inform her about all this and Sean told her "because you didn't ask". Terrible customer service then hung up on her. 4. I didn't trust them that they weren't trying to screw me at this point so went to a few jewelers in Texas(where I now reside) and 3 places told me they did a poor job setting the stone. It ended up being loose and the position highlighted the one inclusion the new stone has. I spend $100 to have it reset and make sure everything was tight. Overall a nightmare situation and these guys won't be in business much longer if they treat their customers this way. They are like dealing with used car salesman that sell you a lemon and tell you too bad once you leave the lot and the car is messed up. I'm a reasonable person and understand things can happen but these issues were known by the owners and they tried to pull a fast one. Untrustworthy and they are only in it to fill their pockets, not sustain a long term customers. Do yourself a favor and find another jeweler who won't screw you so you don't have to experience the terrible situation I did. read more

Princess Jewelers is hands-down amazing. After going to Princess on a few recommendations, they have earned a new loyal customer. They truly went above and beyond. I am incredibly impressed with their expertise and customer service. Being new to the area, I was looking for a local family-owned business who would be able to do the work on-site and was heavily-focused on customer service and honesty. Princess Jewelers is ALL of these things and more. Somehow they fixed my engagement ring that I have been trying to get fixed for more than a year and a half after the chain jewelry store it was purchased from royally messed it up during routine work. And not only did Princess fix it even though it wasn't their piece, they did it quickly and with unmatched confidence and expertise. Furthermore, they refused to let me pay for the work! They said they'd rather have me become a I satisfied customer who would want to come back to them again, than charge me for simple work like that! I simply could not believe it. I will certainly be back, as I would love to work with them again. They truly seem to have passion for their customers and for what they do. Even further, they have a fantastic sense of humor while helping you, which makes it a joy to be there. I look forward to going back, and am so happy I have now found the family-owned jeweler I have been hoping to find. Here is a bit about my experience: Andrew greeted me right away when I walked in and was so friendly. After describing my situation, he introduced me to Bob, the jeweler, who took a quick look at my engagement ring and knew exactly what needed to be done to fix it; and to my surprise, he said he would do it right then and there! As Bob took my rings to the back, Andrew was trying to describe to me what he would be doing. Bob yelled to the front to have me join him in the back so I could watch what he was doing to fix my rings! That was fantastic! He worked on my engagement ring for just a bit and somehow fixed ALL the problems that Kay's and Jared told me were unfixable! I'm a hands-on person, so I thought it was even more incredible that he was describing what he was doing while he was doing the work- it was great to watch, and really showed me that they are a trustworthy team. He even polished and rhodium-played my ring after that, and insisted on doing the same to me wedding band so they would both look great and match. It was so kind of him! read more

When I asked for my ring back the next day they told me it was "untraceable" Little did I know legally they are suppose to hold your merchandise for 3 days. So many good things to say. First, I had a promotional offer for $50 off a service. Long after it expired, they honored it. Both of us needed our wedding bands resized, which were done quickly and well. My engagement ring stone had also come out of its setting from 30 years ago, and the ring was too small. That, too was completely redone. Just picked it up. It was ready in JUNE but due to an incredibly busy summer, couldn't get to it until late September. My engagement ring size needed a slight tweaking. They said if I had errands in town, I could come back in 30 minutes and it would be done. When I said I was just swinging through on my way home, he immediately put another project on hold, and 10 minutes later, the ring was ready, and I was on my way. Accommodating, professional and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend, and will return to them for sure in the future. Call and ask for Andrew. You won't be disappointed! read more

Brought in a necklace I got as a gift to have shortened. Was done in a couple days and wore the necklace for about 6 hours and the whole chain fell apart. Brought it back to have fixed and didn't hear anything from them for 3 weeks. When I called I was told the same problem kept occurring so they continued to fix it. I was getting 2 length options but that was what kept breaking so I told them one length was fine (even though I was charged additional for the 2 length option) picked up my necklace finally which was not the same one at all!!! The chain is WAY thicker then the original and the clasp is so tiny it is pretty much impossible to close. Decided not to go back and complain as it's been 4 weeks of dealing with this and don't feel like taking my business to them any longer. Wouldn't recommended getting anything fixed there. Jewler can't do something simple and they are up front about anything. read more
