Literally the worst customer service I have ever encountered at a business. This was from Fred who is one of the guys that runs the business. After giving them regular steady business for years he wouldn't take the time to rotate a simple picture print for us and when I brought it over to him to correct he literally told he me HE DID NOT CARE and yelled at me for 10 mins. I mean seriously is that how you want to treat your customers. He reprinted it for me only after I had to go back to my business to take the 30 seconds it would have taken him to rotate the image and crop, then he ignored me for 10-15 mins before reprinting. If you want someone who is going to give you good service don't come here when Fred is around or at all. read more

Printex is the best printing shop around culver city/palms. My printer went out recently and I have been scrambling to find a place to print items. I often need to print shipping labels and I also run fundraisers that I need to print marketing materials for. Wow! What a gem! If you are a regular of Kinkos or Staples, i highly recommend you to try this place. Kinkos or Staples have nothing on this shop. Ok, well it can look crowded and not as 'polished' looking as Kinkos but the staff and services deliver 1st class. Whatever you need to print from a desktop, they will let you do it hands-on and print right there. Prices are even less than Kinkos. Vivian was exceptional! She obviously cares for her bosses, ie, no waste of papers or copies and at same time, cares for me, the customer, to get what i need at the soonest most cost-effective way possible. I came here two times, both were unsuccessful. First of all, if your printers are not able to produce decent copies don't tell a customer that it is because of their original. This is the worst place I have been too. The man working in the place was super rude and arrogant, more importantly, he charged a lot more extra price without telling you. He even charge 50 cents or something for just putting one page on the glass of the photocopier. That's just 1 second thing which you can do it yourself but instead he did it and he didn't tell you that this is so costly. He is almost behaving like a mafia and wouldn't let you go without paying him so much unnecessary charges. He speaks rude languages and threatens people. Also the quality of the copies are terrible. I couldn't even recognize the faces on the pages because of all the messy ink coming together. The place smells like hell. Computers are like the 1970 ones: unimaginably slow. Very depressing environment. I do NOT recommend this place AT ALL. Please don't do any work in this place! read more

I needed pictures printed ASAP and after not being able to print them out at two places I had to resort here. Service is more on the expensive side, costing me $1.20 to print out a 4 by 6 picture. If I could, I would have went to a big chain and pay 30 cents for a picture, but I was desperate. It kinda took awhile to print one picture, and I felt like more of a bothersome being there. read more

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!! I needed to get some color copies made and I was freaking out because FedEx and Staples quoted me ridiculously high prices. I called this place and the quote from here was more than 50% less than what the big chains quoted me. I rushed right over! I had hard copies of what I needed copied (a free sample FedEx did for me) but the associate asked if I had the files to print from because it would be easier and better quality. I did, and he set everything up in Adobe InDesign (he called me back to the computer to approve every step of the process), printed a sample which I ok'ed (it actually turned out better than my FedEx sample...FedEx cut off a sliver of my design which I thought I would have to live with but Printex was able to fit the whole design on the page) and then printed the whole batch. Took maybe 10/15 minutes for the whole visit from my arrival to my happy and satisfied departure. I will definitely be back and I hope that you experience the same great prices and service. Printex by far beats going to FedEx or Staples! read more

lost my package and once i found it i found out they never even put my item in an envelope they just taped the label to the item so fedex couldnt send it. waste of my time and money not to mention package was then late getting me in trouble. Shame on this place read more

Your typical printing center. They have all the machines to make small cards to large posters to digital scanners. I needed to get some copys of photos done. I got 2 scans of 8x10 and 8 copies of small cutouts from a 8x11 sheet of photo paper all cut to size. Total cost was $12. read more

We came here because we had a deadline and our boss would have killed us if we didn't get our poster printed. The owner was awesome, he stayed with us 3 hours after the shop was closed to troubleshoot our file and finally got it printed. Needless to say, we went back to him to print our remaining posters! These guys are amazing! I called and went to at least a dozen places including staples and kinks to print out a few excel spreadsheet files (I couldn't figure out how to format them on my own so that they would print properly). These guys were the only ones who were able to do the job, we're professional, fast, super nice and reasonably priced. Will definitely be using them again!! read more

Printex scanners produce substandard images rife with artifacts, shadow lines and poor density. The owner / operator shrugged his shoulders when I returned to show him the results of the "high-resolution" jpegs he made of my large black & white prints and how poorly they came out. He claimed he could not adjust the density or remove the dozens of artifacts (which were clearly on the scanner's glass) and when he attempted to rescan the photos, the results were actually worse! He then revealed that his "state-of-the-art" scanners are typically only used for blueprints and not photos. Huh? Both times I dropped off the photos and flash drive, he asked me to write my name and phone number down but he never called to tell me the scans were ready. On my second visit, I witnessed another customer complaining about the same thing. This guy is clearly asleep at the wheel and not qualified to be operating a print shop. Avoid. read more

I contacted Printex during a very difficult time: my father-in-law had just passed away and I was in charge of printing up hundreds of programs for his funeral. Printex made all of this easy for me, even when I had to change some of the text at the last minute. They printed 500 beautiful, double-sided programs for me in AN HOUR, and the price - considering all their work - was shockingly less than I had thought it would be. They took a difficult time and made it easier. You can't ask for more from a printer. I will definitely go back for all of my printing needs. read more

They are a little bit old school, like they don't have a wifi for customers and they should have a bell at the front desk or some sort of chime when a customer walks in. I think they are friendly. I ordered business cards from them. They are exactly what I wanted. They're honest and they didn't try to up-sale me on anything. I did my order by sending them an email with my design. They answered right away with the proof and the cards were completed within the time frame as promised. I got an email that they were ready for pick up. Didn't have to call anyone or track down anything. When I picked the cards up they were easy to locate. After looking at them I thought I'd like foil and was told it would be a different process and a little bit more expensive. I made a comment about waiting because my business wasn't quite there yet. The owner said, "You will be." I thought that was a rather nice and positive thing to say. We will definitely re-order. The cards are very good quality by the way in case you are thinking about saving a few bucks through Vistaprint. By paying a fraction more you'll get way better quality for the same quantity and you don't have to spend hours online saying no to add ons. read more
