This dealership is TRASH! This place is SO disorganized when you walk in. No one to help or give directions. They are going through renovations so i understand it being a bit chaotic but that's not the issue. Went to drop my car off at 2pm for an oil change and was told it wouldn't be ready until 5:30PM. Okay??? Never got the call that it was ready. Ended up having to pick it up the next day. Got a call at 8:30AM the next day about a nail in my tire. Ok no one mentioned that to me until the next day. Then was told it would be another 3 1/2 hrs for them to do that. Wtf???? THEN get to my car to have my seat soaked like they left my windows down in the pouring rain.. water all in my car. Not to mention, i had to walk all around the lot to find my vehicle because there was no direction as to where my vehicle was. Man y'all do not go here. I bought my car there 6 years ago and overall, its been a positive experience. Definitely not perfect, though. Purchasing the car went smoothly. The one minor negative during purchasing was the salesman fibbed a little about features, but that is to be expected from car salesmen - and techinically allowed in the sales contract. It wasnt a big deal, as I knew the facts beforehand. Ultimately, the vast majority of the time was - and still is - with service. The free oil changes and state inspections are great. They used to have shuttle service, but that stopped with COVID and they never started it back up. That is the biggest disappointment. Unless you want to wait there for hours or if you cant get a free ride, you have to call Lyft/Uber/taxi and then any money you were saving is gone. Again, the service department has been most great. There have been minor annoyances with the service throughout the years, again nothing that would make me stop going there, like trying to sell me unnecessary repairs. But here is the most recent negative example: I just brought my car in for the state inspection a few days ago. It failed for the wiper blades - and I agree they should be replaced. They said they would replace them for $65. If you dont know cars, you wouldnt know this is an absolutely absurd price. You can get 5-star rated wipers from Amazon for a little over $10 and even if you have never replaced wipers blades before, it requires no tools and the entire process should take less than 5 minutes to from star to finish. They are just trying to take advantage of captive and possibly ignorant customers. Again, this shouldnt surprise anyone, they are trying to make money I said no, ordered new blades and put them on. Then I had to go back for the re-inspection. However, if they had said its just wipers, we will replace them for free, that would cost them next to nothing and inspire so much goodwill... my 2 cents. read more

Unfortunately, I needed service for my Hyundai. I've never been here before. I spoke with a representative in the parts department but couldn't make an appointment until the car was towed there. I called 20 minutes after the car was picked up, ( destination was 1.2 miles for delivery) and was told I had to wait until it was entered into their system. I asked them to call me back when they got that info, etc. 2 hours later, I called back, and he told me the tow driver had JUST dropped off the car and keys. I said I wondered where the tow truck driver was with my car for 2 hours since it was picked up 1 mile from them? More to this, never returning. I purchased our vehicle ten years ago from Priority Hyundai. I have taken advantage of the priorities for life the entire time and truly value it. I went in for some service in addition to our free oil change. I was greeted by Dajor who was handling all of the incoming vehicles by himself. He was hustling but still took the time to warmly greet me and take care of me. We bought a 2024 vehicle and had to bring it back to fix a ding that was in the door, which was quite daunting, but it was eventually resolved after a month of back and forth. However, when we dropped off the vehicle for the repair, there was a piece of trim missing and there were dimples in a couple of other trim pieces. We were told they will be ordered and would receive a call when they arrive. Since then, all we have gotten was the run around. We've been told that the parts came in and that someone would call us to schedule the service. We never received the call to schedule service, even after several attempts to call them. I also reached out to the salesperson several times to no avail. Not sure what we have to do to get a car repaired here. This is incredibly terrible customer service, and I can assure that, at this point, I don't know if we will even consider using the dealership again for further vehicle purchases. read more

Last time I had an issue and they tried to fix it but we just couldn't connect. This time my detail wasn't even done but they still charge me $130. Service called me and told me my car would be done at two that they were in the process of finishing the detail and it will be done shortly I came to pick it up at 6:30 PM and my car was not touched. Went to buy a car from a guy. Was very rude and talked down to me. I truly believe it was because I was black. Either that or the fact that I was young. I don't like to pull the race card but he judged me from the moment I walked in. On top of that he told me he couldn't give me any off sticker price, even when I pulled up KBB and other sites. After a while he went and got the manager who offered me a deal, still not one I really wanted but at least it was better than telling me that she couldn't do anything for me. I gave up after 2 attempts, went down the street and bought a car the same day. Pro tip: don't judge and talk down on your customers from the jump. Wish I could give less then one for customer service alone. They don't call you when parts come in. They will always take the full day to fix anything. That's if they get it fixed at all. The manager doesn't call back when asked too. The service departments consultants are rude and sarcastic. After sitting in the waiting area for hours and missing an appointment they tell me to come back when the car messes up again this was the second time they told me this over the same issue. We called a few weeks in advance and schedule an appt. I don't know why we bother because we almost always tell them we need it back ASAP as it's our only vehicle. The last time we stayed and waited it took almost 4 HOURS, so we drop it off now. So today they do the oil change and state inspection. They close at 5:30pm. We get here at 5 because with our luck they'll call as they close. So they keep telling us "10 more minutes, 10 more minutes" and here I am almost 30 minutes later waiting. Kudos to Liz who overheard me talking to the person in parts and said come on I'll show you where you need to go. She got me scheduled for the programming. She is top notch. Stay away from Priority dealerships. They have had my wifes car which she bought from them in 2011 for 30 days now. The 2012 Hyandi Sonota has a failed engine. The engine is completely seized up. It is under recall from Hyundai, so they will be replacing the engine at no cost.. Here is our problem with Priority. They have had our car for 30 plus days and have yet to give us a loaner!!!! Even after Hyandi approved the engine replacement!!! Priority brand is represented at 18 dealerships in 8 cities and they can't find us a loaner car?!?!? Completely unacceptable. We had an unexpected vehicle breakdown that was well beyond what our car was worth, with no guarantee that those repairs would be the extent of the needed repairs. We opted to buy a pre-owner vehicle in lieu of a new purchase. We looked and looked and found and settled on a Hundai. Priority Hundai has the best deals we could find given our timeline. Ian, the sales person, was very engaging, transparent, and pleasant to work with. The sales manager got us within $2 of our targeted car note. We ended up in a 2017 Santa Fe Sport with 42k miles for just a little over 18k out the door. The buying experience was typical however straight fwd and faster than others we've experienced. The warranty/finance person seemed a bit pushy with the extended warranties and came off as disengaged once I declined the extended warranties. There were some discrepancies, one they we noticed at the time of purchase (rust spot on the hood), and another one while driving it-maybe a wheel bearing...a wobbling sound at moderate to higher speeds, that we will be bringing back to the dealership to get taken care of. I can't stress this enough do not lease a car from Hyundai, or this dealership!! We leased our Car from here, they processed the paperwork incorrectly. We are a military family which means we get a tax break on personal property taxes. But because they didn't check mark that section of the paper work each year we get a bill for $800+. Which ok fine we contact the city of VA beach and they correct it no issues. But here's the issue, since the car is technically owned by the Hyundai financial the bill gets sent to them! Which I've spoken to a few higher ups and insured me there were notes on my account to not pay said bill till they speak to me, they still pay bill in full!! And demand the money!! When I've spoken to Hyundai the countless times they are clueless, they have no special department for this and basically a oh well attitude, I've spoken with the city and they again are super helpful and have said all They need to do is call us and we will Confirm the refund check was sent out! But get this in the mean time if you don't pay Hyundai they will Obviously make your account late! I've requested a copy of the bill since they've never sent me a actual bill, the bill isn't even do till Months later!! Update: I've spoken to the city, they can confirm check of refund was cashed, Hyundai now is telling me it takes 8/10 Weeks to Reflect on my account!!!! We went in to get a new palisade and we understand that it's in high demand but to not make a customer feel valued or like you care at all to work with anyone it's unfortunate. Ok, so here is my problem with this company. Whenever I come in for a oil change I always have that feeling that someone is tampering with my car instead of just doing whatever needs to be done. This this time was no different. The day after my service ever time I turn my car on, the air blows continuously but the air is not even turned on. Then on Tuesday the rear view mirror falls off. Thursday, my car starts making weird noises. Saturday tried to drive on the interstate and does not even have the pick up speed to get in front of a car to merge and also on Saturday when the car is just turned on accessory the tail light comes on, but when the actual engine is running the tail light no longer works. It took 4 hours for my car to be serviced. The only thing I got done was a oil change and a recall service. That was a ridiculous amount of time to be waiting. Also when I got my keys back they were disassembled, who ever took them apart should have put them back the way that they were found. Also there needs to be a better system with dropping off cars and people trying to leave after the service. I had to drive in reverse to come out of that loop because there were like 3 cars blocking me in. My car never gives me issues, NEVER. I am just so upset and I feel like I am going to have to buy another vehicle. This will be my very last time ever coming! Ever. read more

My vehicle was towed in Sunday, I called to notify them it was towed an what I assumed was the issue. The Advisor (Ken) was not so friendly at the start when I say not so in terms of display no empathy or exhibited any soft skills. He was firm an direct with his direction. 1) see if the vehicle is there. I explained it was but yet he didn't want to hear the reason for the call 2) he return the call with yes the vehicle is there so he will have to run an diagnostic to determine the issue. I stated yes I knew the vehicle was there, what does an diagnostic means an the cost. He explained it will let them know the problem. I then went on to explain what happen yet he was dismissive so I asked as a consumer what is the cost so I'm not blind side with an extra nominal fee. Ken went on to say $129 so I ask what is the cost of fuel injection he stated he could not share cause he has to find out the issue. As I shared with him understood but I like to know the cost of fuel injection and he continued to say he could not tell me cause he have to find out the issues an that's probably not what's wrong with my vehicle. So say you're making an assessment in my vehicle without the diagnostic and deny to provide me a cost of a service. 3) I asked when can I expect to hear back he was firm it would not be Monday an probably sometime tomorrow because I didn't have an appointment. I then say to him being that you NOT going to try an look at my vehicle today (Monday) I need to hear something by noon tomorrow. His reply I can't guarantee it. 4) Tuesday- I'm happy to report Ken called me at 10:59am with updates. Nothing was exciting about the price guage of $587 for 4 spark plugs, & ignition coil for 4-cylinder an they only replaced #1 cylinder. Here's where I get more frustrated the vehicle arrived with the engine, oil light and display saying 19 miles before service. So my way of thinking the diagnostic as it was explained with tell what issues the vehicle has. Ken was thorough about what I needed to do drive out and very firm about recommendations that need to happen sooner than later. No mentioning of the oil change so when I remembered I called an Ariana answered. She stated Ken is off (Wednesday) she has me on hold for 7 mins. Ariana who is not a service advisor stated she was looking for my paperwork an I can come pick up vehicle an the cost. I asked if the oil change was completed her response was did you ask for it? I went to explain to her that the vehicle was towed on Sunday and told a diagnostic would be done so to my knowledge and being that someone was in & out my vehicle to see the light on the dash would know oil change is needed. Her response was well it's closed out you need to come get it an make an appointment. Unsatisfactory who or why would I come PAY $500 plus dollars, pick up my vehicle with a light on drive away then make appointment to return back. What sense does that make...help me understand the logic of that thought process. I asked her to have an Advisor complete the service and that I need my vehicle. Unfortunately, I read up on the ratings/reviews AFTER I encountered some of the exact same concerns and I am disappointed that I did not complete a more thorough check before entrusting my business and my time with a dealership that does not seem to value either of those with me. I called ahead, scheduled an oil change three months after trading in and buying a brand new vehicle from them. I requested next available and was told on a Tuesday to come in for my appointment on Friday at 10:30am. At 12:30 my name was called to go to the service desk. I thought 2 hours was way to long for a simple oil change, but not enough to warrant a negative review or not come back again with the hopes that this experience was a one off, just a bad day, and not to form an opinion on the value of my continued patronage. I was in for an even greater surprise. They called me back to find out WHY I dropped my vehicle off, it had already been 2 hours of waiting, and then had the audacity to tell me it would be another hour minimum before my oil would be changed. Excuse me??? I was told I should have checked in at the service desk when I entered the building and not just with the service man who greeted me outside, asked what I was there for, pulled up my name on his device, took my key and tagged my vehicle with a number for service because they had no idea what I was there for and by 'chance' this employee then went on to tell me how he 'randomly' went through whatever the other man took off of me to turn in and found my info and called me back or I would still randomly be sat around waiting with nothing going on. He said it like I should consider myself lucky and be grateful that he went above and beyond his job duties to find that I was just sat there waiting randomly for hours and called me back to ask me why. I informed him I had been waiting since 10:30, he said he knew and he would try to see if he could get my car finished sooner, but to expect an hour. It's been an hour now. I have been here for 3 hours for a call ahead and scheduled appointment time for a simple oil change. Still no car. I'm not even here on a Saturday when people are generally off of work. Customers shouldn't have to use vacation time from work to get the oil in their car changed either. Do they pay their employees if they sit around for 3 hours doing nothing? I told the woman I was scheduling an appointment for an oil change when I initially made the appointment. I told the service man who greeted me in the drive up area that again, I was dropping it off for an oil change, because although he asked if I had an appointment before taking my key and putting a service number tag in my vehicle, he still had to ask what I was dropping it off for after pulling up my name. I found that odd in today's day and age of technology, but not odd enough to tip me off that there were already issues in their lack of organization to provide at minimum a decent level of service for their customers. Decent level of service, in my opinion that's settling for a lower level of service that is at the very bottom end of the spectrum of what I'm willing to compromise for my business and time. I'm not asking for red carpet treatment, just decency. I was not even afforded decency. When did 'Priority Hyundai' decide they were going to determine the value of a persons time? Time is a rare commodity, one we have no idea how much we'll be gifted with in life and a commodity that you will never get back even if it's been wasted by a dealership that does not value its customers. 3 hours of my life have been wasted today, I'll never get these back, and I'm still sat here waiting right now. It's at that point where I feel I need something for my time so I continue waiting, but I'm at the point where I will not give this dealership another minute of my life and just get my key back and find a business that has at its core a minimum level of decency towards their customers. I don't believe any dealership should have that kind of disrespect and control over wasting my time. Especially when I played by all of their rules, called in to schedule my appointment, arrived on time and sat patiently waiting for the first 2 hours. Now I've waited for 3 hours and still no vehicle. Such a disappointment. Whoever came up with the priorities for life commitment I'm sure had great intentions that have been executed less than poorly on the very customers they sought to acquire and maintain with the commitment. Minimum wage at 3 hours would've paid for my oil change somewhere else and I would still be out ahead because of the extra time I would be ahead on. Let that sink in. Hyndai does not stand behind their work and are very dishonest. The staff was very unprofessional and rude. I recently purchased my vehicle from Southern Volkswagen who I do not recommend back in October. I was experiencing engine issues including burning a ton of oil every couple hundred miles. As I brought my vehicle back to the dealership I bought it from, they sent it to Priority. After about 2 solid months of back and forth testing, Jimmy not only took care of me each time, he explained in detail each process and what needs to be done. I purchased my 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport new from Priority Hyundai. I knew what I wanted and got three different Hyundai dealerships to price out new Santa Fe's on the lot. Priority had the best price. I take advantage of the free oil changes and state inspections for life. I always schedule these services well in advance by appointment. The service writers are very good and I'm in and out quickly. One of the reasons I have them do the oil changes is to have record on file for future warranty purposes as the engine has a 100K mile warranty as long as service intervals are maintained. I've worked in the vehicle transportation industry for 40 years as a maintenance manager over 10 vehicle maintenance shop facilities as well as a fleet manager. Beware that ALL dealerships try to sell you "OEM recommended" services such as brake and power steering flushes, etc. I have to tell Priority that I handle the maintenance on my vehicles except for what I bring the vehicle for them to perform. Priority does a 20 point inspection and on the last oil change told me the front brake pads were at 3mm thickness and it'd be $389 for replacement of both wheels. I appreciate them telling me as I denied service and bought a set of brake pads off Amazon for $36 and did it myself. Still nice for Priority to let me know in advance that the brakes were getting close to replacement! read more

She treated us like we owe her something and that our business isn't important to her. Her tactics of pricing were unacceptable. When we questioned her on anything she got defensive. She was extremely condescending to my husband and I. We've never been treated this bad by a dealership before and we've lived all over the country. When we told her we weren't okay with what she was offering she stormed off and left us at the table. The Service Department is horrible! The Service Department had our brand new 2020 vehicle for almost a month. We had to reach out to Service Advisor through our Sales Representative since the Service Manager did not return any of my numerous calls after a week to find out the status and, to ask for a loaner vehicle. It took multiple communications with Hyundai Consumer Affairs to finally get a status on when our vehicle would be fixed. The Service Manager's (Fred) excuse for not calling me back was "he was short staff and did not have time to check his messages". I do not know any Manager that does not have time to check their messages for a month. When my brand new 2020 vehicle was finally returned, there were multiple scratches on my vehicle. I now have to take it back on a weds to have it fixed! Also you would think after that much time, they would have given us a courtesy wash! Maybe not to hide those scratches!!! I can say that Allen our Sales Rep. did an excellent job, and our daughter and son purchased vehicles just prior to our experience with the service dept.
