A friend referred me to this place, she also has a labradoodle. My dog is very shy at first, puppy, and it was his first time getting groomed. I communicated with the staff, and they said they were understanding, but of course, he had a Peeing incident.. I apologized and the person at reception seemed very annoyed about cleaning it up. I get it, I'm sure it's no fun dealing with that. My biggest issue was the cut: I asked for a fluffy head and The cut was uneven, with a weird bob on the head, and the back of the head was just chopped off. I asked if there was a reason why it came out that way (I thought he maybe moved, which I would have completely understood) but they didn't seem to see an issue with the results, and were just trying to rush me out. His ears were also uneven. It's safe to say I won't be coming back, but I did see other doodles being dropped off, and my friend's dog has looked good, so it must've just been my dog's case. It does smell nice when you come in, so that's always nice. read more

The receptionist Annette gives a warm welcome each time we bring "Kelo" in the salon. 3. Calm atmosphere even when there are many dogs present. 4. The older our sweet boy got, the gentleman Coco would lift our 100 pound boy to and from the car when our precious boys hips weren't doin well. Coco would also hold Oscar on his lap while Leslie or any of the sweet girls would trim his nails. They are all absolute saints who work here! They are all so tender, gentle and caring. I write this review as I grieve the loss of our sweet Oscar who we lost recently at almost 14 years old. He would get so excited to see his doggy friends here and absolutely felt safe and loved with Coco, Leslie and the entire grooming family! I've been taking my dog here for years. Always an amazing job. Great store! Great staff! Great prices!

I will give this place two stars for several reasons. Their ability to book me for the following day and get my two long haired miniature dachshunds done in three hours was the only positive experience with them and the reason for the two stars. When you walk into the place, the bigger dogs roam free which made my dogs feel very uneasy. All the small dogs get put into a crate which actually helped me relax since I knew my dogs wouldn't be trampled on by a bigger dog. Every other groomer I've been to does not allow the dogs to roam for free, and this isn't the type of place that also does doggy day care. It would make me feel very nervous to leave my dog if I had a bigger size dog. Not knowing if the dogs were going up to my dogs crates and scaring them made me feel uncomfortable leaving them there. I simply asked that they trim my male dog as short as they could and not touch his ears or tail . I asked that the female only be trimmed in her feet and shaped around the ears . BOTH of their tails were cut. My female dog got chopped up ears . They cut to short which I could accept if they had at least gradually done it but it is very choppy. The trims in both of their feet's are also very choppy . I feel that I could've done a better job. Overall the boys haircut was also very choppy and it could've been shorter as my usual place does it shorter. I didn't like when I picked them up because they asked me to pay before I saw the dogs (which I know is customary) but when I told her I would wait to see the dogs before authorize the charge she said I needed to pay before I saw the dogs. How am I supposed to know how to tip if I haven't seen the dogs. Also, it doesn't feel good when someone refuses you access to your own dogs. I did not tip. I try to be understanding and acknowledge that my preference for the setting of the place shouldn't matter but the service provided to my dogs wasn't what I asked for. I regretted leaving them almost immediately but did because I was hopeful the haircut would be worth it . I will not be returning and I do not recommend it. read more

We have a 20 pound mini golden doodle that because of the coronavirus has not had grooming in about 2 1/2-3 months. He was all matted up and looked like a scruffy homeless dog despite brushing him 1-2 times a day with a slicker brush, and FURminator. I took both my German Shepherds into an appointment, today. One is a rescue who is still learning to trust. He's a very sweet boy but lacks confidence. They were very comforting with such a high anxiety dog. Unbelievable service! Oh, and my other 2-year-old (extremely-gsd-like) german Shepherd got a great mani/pedi. This place has zero respect for their clients nor their pets. I made an APPOINTMENT for 12:00 noon. Of course they called me the day before to confirm that I would be there at 12:00. I arrived before noon and dropped my dog off. Two and a half hours later I hadn't heard from them so I called. My dog wouldn't be ready for another half hour. I told them that my appointment was "two and a half hours ago", and the lady replied " that's our normal waiting time". Really?? If that's the case, why not tell me that I had an appointment for noon, but I didn't need to show up for another two and a half hours???? I didn't leave my precious loved one there to be put in a cage for a couple of hours, that's why I made an APPOINTMENT!! When I picked my dog up , I asked to see the Manager. The girl at the front desk said that the she didn't have one, I asked to see her boss, she replied that she wasn't there, thus this review for for a business that truly needs someone to take responsibility, make a realistic schedule. and respect their customers...Bottom line, the groomer missed out on a $20 tip, and the owner lost a good customer. read more

The groomers here are wonderful, do an extremely good job, reasonable, and it's cage free where you can also see all the groomers with the fur babies playing, so absolutely no crates, and they explain the pick-up time at the time of the appointment - typically 3 hours in my experience. It's grooming plus doggy day care where they are free to roam and play amongst each other and have such a great time that when I picked up my two fur babies they were beyond beautiful, not crate traumatized, happy to see me and made new friends! Since the days when Priscilla actually owned and ran this shop, we've occasionally relied on this groomer to care for our dogs' cleanliness and appearance. Our Lab/Rot mix and our Chocolate Lab have been easy work, but our now-deceased English Setter, Harley, was always a trickier prospect. Setters have "feathers", elegant tendrils of hair lining their underbellies and tails, and the hair on their long ears grows in a similar fashion. This hair must be dematted with a comb and brush and the feathers trimmed in gradual diagonal lines that enhance the dogs' body shape. Cutting mats out wholesale leaves unsightly bare spots, and trimming the feathers too close to the body makes the dog look... awkward. Over the years, Harley got some really bad "do's" from groomers who thought their job was to clip out the mats, wash her, and tie a ribbon around her neck. The fact is, grooming a Setter is like styling a woman's hair, not least because for some reason, Setters know they're beautiful and wear their coats proudly. And, feeding that unnatural vanity, Priscilla's kept Harley gorgeous. Their groomers know how to style and shape the coats of different breeds, and can make recommendations for changes in style to owners who aren't aware of the traditional (or more modern) approaches to this work. This, while running a little shop in a strip mall, offering standard grooming services at reasonable prices, and keeping their business operating in a safe, dependable, reliable manner. Who knows why people become dog groomers? The work seems to me to be dirty and uncomfortable, but I'm told I'm finicky, so it's likely I've just overlooked the part that's fun. What I do know is that the groomers at Priscilla's always seemed to love having Harley with them. We joked once that she considered it like "day camp," and the comfort she felt there would have been due to the kind treatment she got from the employees. My wife and I miss Harley, and my guess is that if they ever think of her, the folks at Priscilla's miss her, too. read more

This was my first time taking my dog Mia to get groomed here and I was very satisfied with the service! They were super friendly and treated me and my puppers with kindness. The price was definitely worth it. They also gave me a heads up about her might having worms, she doesn't thank god but they did an awesome job and you can tell they were concerned and paying attention. And when I picked her up I was happy to see she wasn't locked in a kennel but running around with the other pups! I also really loved the little bows in her hair! First of all, I had just moved to this area and was looking for a groomer. I called this place up and they answered any question or concerns I had without making me sound like an overcautious nut! The receptionist (who I would like to say is so sweet and nice) took me in for a next day appt. Upon bringing Frida in, I answered and provided proof regarding her vaccination and other general questions. My dog was so nervous and the receptionist noticed. She calmly walked out to the waiting area and kneeled down to reassure my shaking schnauzer, speaking to her in a patient voice. I thought it was such a sweet gesture because typically other places seem rushed to get a dog in and out. she again, asked me everything she needed to know about Frida, given it was her first time and then swiftly picked her up and took her to her own private kennel, at my request. I took the time to look around the room, and every groomer just looked happy, the ones bathing other dogs seemed so chill that even the dogs looked calm. Once I was called to pick up Frida, she looked so fresh and clean! I loved her look and she didn't come out anxious or nervous! Today was our last trip to Priscilla's dog grooming. We'd been there about 4 times prior. The very first time I took my dog there, his cut was great! Every subsequent trip, even though I asked for the same groomer and the exact same cut as that first time (even gave them a picture I took of the cut the day it was done), his cut was never the same. Our last trip was going to be my last time there, but finding a new groomer is a pain, so I took him there today. Even though the person who normally cut him was no longer working there, I was assured we had their "best" groomer. Well, even with my original picture and clear instructions to the person who took him at drop off, nothing was done correctly. Ears were cut way to close (can't take that back) and muzzle was cut close even though I specifically indicated a schnauzer muzzle (which is long, not cut close). I'm just disappointed that my requests seem blown off and hurried when they take him in and then they just cut him how they want. So sad that his ears, which are his best feature, were cut so small. read more

I have been coming here for years. When I had a complaint it was validated and they would fix it. My normal groomer left but I was assured my yorkies would be taken care of. They now look like chihuahuas. They took zero accountability and even tried to tell me I have not been happy in the past. ie: past complaints (nails not cut at all, it was part of what should have been done, fur uneven, was told groomer was bit by a dog so her hand was injured and cuts were a bit off) after I explained those past complaints were valid, owner was like "oh yes, I now remember that." So instead of taking accountability she was taking the direction of blaming me indicating I haven't been satisfied in the past. My immediate response validate my past complaints and she said "oh yeah". The relationship ends here. I will take my yorkies elsewhere. You may need to listen to your customers and validate their complaints before you accuse them of never being satisfied. My yorkies are chihuahuas for now. I noticed his belly and leg still looked dirty, so I mentioned my concern to the owner, Michelle. She argued that, was his skin color, really.! She immediately responded, just take your dog and don't come back!!!, visit was no charge. Im in tears trying to explain to her, I wasn't planning on coming back because my requests were not being made, and about previous visits when I asked for a full report on how his grooming visits and Leslies comment about putting a mussel on my boy and yanking out the hair in his ears. As usual she knew nothing what I was talking about. Its not my job that your groomers aren't communicating these concerns with her. I will Never take my dog back to this place.
