Our dryer decided to give out on us, and we stumbled across Aisen and AL-FIX appliance repair on Yelp. So we decided to give him a call. He was very polite and booked us an appointment for an assessment the next day. When he arrived, he was confident and all business. It took less than a minute for him to come to the conclusion of our dryer's issue. He promptly ordered the parts (which was a new motor) and secured us a spot for the next morning. There were a couple hurdles when he began fixing the dryer, which required additional parts to complete the job. The review is for their office person that responds to inquiries. I sent out a fridge repair request via yelp projects and AL-fix was one of the people to respond. Told them exactly what the issue was (freezer door handle broke) and sent them photos of the fridge and broken part. We were moving in less than a week so were on a tight timeline. They quoted $50 to send someone to take a look. I told them I don't want them to come out unless they had the replacement part in hand because we didn't have time to wait around. The person responding assured me they would have the part or it would take only 1 day to order. The repair guy arrived and didn't know anything about my prior convo with his office. When I told him they said they could get the part in 1 day he looked at me like I was crazy. He told me it would take way longer. Given they couldn't guarantee a fix by the time we had to move out of the house we sent him on his way but they still charged me $50 which is what I was trying to avoid!
