By about 4:00 p.m., I contacted Command Comfort, and the owner, Chris, got back to me almost immediately. He was able to have a technician at our house within the hour to diagnose the issue. Our technician, Xavier, was fantastic. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain everything he was checking and why. He even put boot covers over his shoes before coming inside, which was a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. Xavier spent about an hour and a half thoroughly troubleshooting the system. Unfortunately, the repair is going to be a much bigger job than expected, so I'll need to get approval from my landlord before moving forward. Even so, I wanted to recognize Command Comfort for their outstanding customer service, quick response time, and professionalism. We recently had our AC unit fixed and the service was impeccable. Tyler was prompt, efficient, and very knowledgeable... and we were up and running in less than an hour. Today, Tyler came out again, but this time as part of the maintenance plan to service the unit - taking the unit apart and cleaning all collected dirt, grime, leaves, and anything that could possibly cause the unit to not run efficiently. Our AC went out right at the beginning of a heatwave in June. I called Command AC from a referral I got from a friend and Chris sent someone out to do a diagnostic within 24 hours. Our AC, being 30+ years old, was on its last leg and needed to be replaced. They were able to get their team out within a couple days to do the installation. Their team was professional and knowledgeable and Chris showed up for a couple of hours to oversee the project himself. By the end of the day we had cool air. We did end up having an issue with our thermostat a few days later that required them to send their tech, Johnny, out. He ended up replacing our Nest and had us back up and running within a couple hours. My fiancé and I were thoroughly impressed with the whole team. This is an updated, additional review - few years after I first used Command Comfort's service in my Cypress home. This time, I used their services for a single family home in Fullerton. I appreciated the call 24 hours before the appointment, as a reminder. I appreciated the call when Rick was on his way to my home, as it allowed me to get my home situated (baby and the dogs). Both Rick and Chris wore booties and offered to wear a mask inside my home, also noting they were vaccinated. I originally hired them as a second opinion on the condition of the 30-year old HVAC unit. My main concern being the cost to fix and maintain the unit vs a new HVAC unit. Chris confirmed the heater igniter needed to be replaced in order for the furnace to work and quoted me on pricing of the part and the labor (if not done the same day). Chris also mentioned a few other items, as a gas line was out of code and issues with the blower wheel. I greatly appreciated that they provided me with a list of recommendations and the estimated costs of the parts and labor. As I decide the next course of action for the HVAC unit, I am considering Command Comfort in meeting any future HVAC needs! read more

Where to start to express how amazing Command Comfort is... long story short, we had a dual Mitsubishi system installed. One side of the house was ductless and the other side, replaced central. Mitsubishi made a mistake on our BTU. After it was installed, Command Comfort could have just walked away, but they didn't... Jamie and his team continued to act as our champions with Mitsubishi until it was resolved. It was seamless for me and my family, as Jamie, Nicole, and Jack - managed every aspect of dealing with Mitsubishi and resolving the issue. I can't thank them enough. Update 2022... The cloud system is so much better than it was when installed. Now we use it almost exclusively. Also, just had Rick out to service our machine and he was great. Even took extra time to explain parts of the system and their maintenance to me. Still a happy customer 2 years later. Original... Chris and his team are the best! We decided to get air conditioning last year when our condo association finally gave permission for residents to install it. While it did not actually get installed until February (HOAs suck) I cannot say enough about Command Comfort. We got a two zone Mitsubishi mini split and while the system is pricey, it is beyond worth it to be able to get some relief on hot days. Add to this all the time we have been having to stay home lately, and we are very happy with our purchase. They were patient throughout the HOA approval process, easy to schedule both the initial appointment and the install, easy to reach for questions, etc. All around very happy customers over here. My only complaint about the system has literally nothing to do with the company. The cloud software for being able to turn it on and off from your phone is slow and the fact that if your WiFi is out, it won't work is also kind of lame. But the other day we left and couldn't remember if we turned it off, so even though it takes a bit to work, it's nice that we can shut it on/off when we aren't home. I had the team at Command Comfort come out to check my AC after the unit in my attic started dripping excessively and not draining properly. They were extremely helpful in giving me some advice over the phone and listening to my problem. I scheduled an appointment and they came by to check the unit and found I had a small leak somewhere in the system. Chris (the owner) and Rick both walked me through the likely causes and detailed out several solutions with an honest recommendation for what to do. We took the easiest/cheapest option with their recommendation to try and stop the leak. They performed the service promptly and went their way. A week later, they followed up to schedule another check to make sure that everything was running well. They continues to care about the quality of the work that was done after they got paid! I love the outstanding customer service you receive when hiring Command Comfort. I always go to yelp for hiring people, and I look for business that are smaller, licensed, and care about the reviews on services like yelp, google, etc, because it shows that they do care about their customers. I always get three quotes, but this time i stopped at two after talking with Jaime from Command Comfort. The whole process was very easy, even in light of this whole COVID-19 pandemic. I messaged them on Yelp, and within minutes i had an answer and was able to set up a virtual consultation with them within the next day or so. When i FaceTimed with Jaime, he had already looked up the satellite image of my house, and was able to walk him through the layout of my house to give him a better idea of what he was dealing with. Then that same session he was able to give me the exact pricing. He was not pushy at all and very easy to talk to. He answered every ridiculous question i had with a smile. I ended up going with an outdoor unit that went up to 5 zones, even though i just wanted two indoor units at the time for my estimate, but they help you with the rebates from Edison that end up like instant rebates, to where the price between the 2 zone and 5 zone unit was negligible and left it open for me to add more indoor units as i saw fit. After the consultation, Jaime himself came by just to confirm my Electric panel was ok, and to confirm where everything was going to be placed inside and outside. I hired them and schedule the install day. On installation day the workers were all on time, they wore masks and booties, and finished up in one day. They cleaned everything up, and then went over all my paperwork and warranties ( because they are a Mitsubishi mini-split certified installer you get the longer Mitsubishi warranty as well). Well i loved the two units, they worked flawlessly and passed the HERS testing easily (needed for permits per CA), and they are handling my permits for me -- i think its just taking a little bit because of this COVID closures. So since the new units were working great, I actually went ahead and got a quote for another two indoor units so that i really wouldn't have to use my central AC much at all as they are so energy efficient. I was able to just text Jaime he was able to give me a quote and came by to confirm where i wanted the units and if it would work. We scheduled, and again had them installed without issue. There's no doubt in my mind, if i ever had any problems with them that they would be easy to get a hold of, and they would be out to diagnose of fix it as quickly as possible. They also offer maintenance plans and they're not pushy to pick the most expensive one at all. I've already recommended them to the rest of my family, and even some neighbors. I really value customer service, and being able to develop such a great relationship and experience with a company you're hiring and spending your hard earned money to.
