I had a plain cerakote done. It was done perfectly. They didn't touch the bits they shouldn't have (sights most importantly). They walked me through their process, and it was what I hoped it was, but better. They removed the old finish, cleaned up machine marks, degreased, blasted all surfaces to be "koted", kote, and bake. My guns look far better than from the factory. My bolt gun had lots of machine marks that will show through cerakote as it is so thin. However, without being asked to, they polished them out, blasted, and koted. My other rifle was made in a country of ill repute and had awful caked up factory paint that had never set. Now, it's gorgeous. Sorry for poor pics, they're all I have before I laud out a hasty camo in duracoat on top of the cerakote. read more

Worst decision ever taking my new Glock 43X to We Plead The 2nd / Pro 2 Customs. They should be rated a "O". I am a retired Military Police Officer and my son is a Special Agent with the FBI and I wanted a heirloom that my son could pass on to his son.  On June 24, 2021 I took a new Glock 43X to  "We Plead The Second / Pro 2 Customs" for Cerakote aluminum, with a hexagon pattern and my Military Police Badge/name laser etched on one side and my sons FBI badge/name laser etched on the other side.  I was informed it would be completed in 2 or 3 weeks but more likely within 2 weeks which turned into more than 21 weeks, multiple calls most of which were not answered and several emails with curt responses like " We are working on it.  The only update will be when it is completed". In late July 2021, I visited the business to determine the status and was informed it was currently being Cerakoted.   After several emails and excuses as to why it wasn't completed I agreed if they could complete the Frame by September 2, 2021 that would be acceptable as it was a gift being given to my son.  September 3, 2021 I paid for and received the pistol frame but the FBI Badge was blurry/smudged.  I showed it to my son and he was as disappointed as I was.  A significant difference between the quality of the Military Police badge and the FBI badge.  The text on the FBI badge is blurred and barely readable.  I emailed the Business Owner Bryan at "We Plead The 2nd" to determine how this error could be corrected.  After waiting a week with no response I called and then drove 40 minutes to their shop to show them the Glock Frame even though I included pictures in my email.  They agreed the FBI badge was blurred and couldn't understand how the badges could be so different, apparently they didn't notice the difference.  They offered a custom holster and I informed them I have a holster and they agreed to redo the FBI badge.  I informed them I didn't want to wait another 10 weeks and I was assured it would have priority and not take another 10 weeks.  I expected some priority since they already had my frame for 10 weeks.  After waiting  4 additional weeks, on October 11, 2021 I sent the Business Owner Bryan an email trying to determine when it would be fixed.  Again many reasons for the delay.  As of November 19, 2021 I still did not have a projected completion date.   Overall I waited an additional 11 weeks for a total of 21 weeks for a product that was originally  promised in 3 weeks worse case.  On November 19, 2021 I drove to the business only to determine they had not started on it and didn't know when it would be fixed - so I picked it up and requested a refund which the business refused to do.  I contacted two other laser gun shops only to be informed they couldn't fix some else mistake and I must purchase a new Glock 43 X Frame as mine is ruined. I'm completely dissatisfied with the lack of quality control and customer satisfaction - not to mention the weeks and months they clearly put my project off. I am sure this unfortunate experience is rampantly being conveyed through the FBI and Police Associations. In the end I initiated a charge back with my credit card company and received my refund but now I must purchase a new frame. PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE.... read more

After months of deliberating, I brought my cerakote project to We Plead The 2nd; confident that I had found a quality shop. I dropped off my rifle in September for a cerakote and awaited a phone call patiently. When I received no update or call by December I followed up, hoping it was complete and they maybe got caught up or forgot to notify me- it hadn't been touched yet. They ensured me it would be done that week and they'd be expediting it. After a few weeks I grew skeptical and called again, which led to the same excuse that it was going to be painted with a batch that week. In the end I received a rush job early January and a camo pattern that looks like it was meant to be a ghost pattern, it's hardly visible at all. When I questioned the job they said "that's how they always do it" despite the contrary I've seen on their social media. As I tried work with them to refund/repaint my project their best offer was for me to pay them more money to repeat the job they never conceded was wrong in the first place. In the end I learned an expensive lesson because I have to live with a project I'm completely dissatisfied with- not to mention the months they clearly put my project off and showed me how much they really don't appreciate me as a customer. I should have spent the extra money and saved myself months of time and phone calls trying to get a simple cerakote project done. read more

Stopped in this place while on business in Phoenix. Some of the best custom design pistol work I've seen. They also do amazing custom design Kydex holsters and I decided to order one for my Glock 43. Ordered it at the counter on Tuesday and expected to receive it in about two weeks. Today, I get a call and they ask me if I'm still in town. I tell them I am but I fly in about four hours and they say they can have it ready for me in about an hour. What? So I beat feet down there and picked up my holster. I love it! Totally cool that these guys went out of their way to call me and get me my holster before I left Phoenix. They didn't have to. I already paid and expected a two week wait. Class act. Service like this earns my respect and my loyalty. I'll be ordering more from them in the Future. read more

Discovered We Plead The 2nd from watching LeaSpeed6 on YouTube and decided to have them create a holster for the new Smith & Wesson M&P22C with a threaded barrel that I just purchased for my wife as well as two magazine holsters for the pistol as well. Additionally, I had an AK47 magazine holster made as well. They gave me a date(5 days) when I could pick everything up and even gave me a reminder call the day before. Everything was built spot on and the price was more than fair! I went in this past Saturday 5/25/19 after a referral from the guys at Tombstone Tactical, to have a holster custom made for my pistol with tac light configuration (FNS 9 with Streamlight TLR-3). I was given a turnaround time of 5-8 business days, so I was hoping it might be done by the following Friday. To my surprise, I received a call today 5/28/19 letting me know my holster was ready. 3-day turnaround! Fit is great, finish is good. Overall very satisfied with the product. Tony read more

Ordered 3 OWB holsters. 2 VP9 SK's and one for a Sig P320 Full Size. Guns had no retention at all so I reached out and asked for them to fix it and was told to come in and drop them off. Came back a few days later to pick them up and the edges were cut sharply but the guns had retention. The cuts were not rounded or blunted down at all and looked very unprofessional. I also let them use my SK so they can mold the holster better and melted the edges of my mag release on my gun. After arguing with one of the co-owners about how there is no way they could have melted it I asked for a refund of all 3 holsters. The co-owner stormed off slamming the door. No doubt they will respond with a whiny post about how I'm complaining on the internet or something along those lines. Always good to show how unprofessional a company is when it comes to a lack of work on their end. read more

I ordered a LEFT handed, IWB, light bearing holster for a M&P .45 from WPT2 on August 12, 2020, and received a RIGHT handed holster on Sept 1, 2020. I immediately emailed them asking if I could get the correct holster or a refund. They responded, "Yes sorry about that, return it with a copy of your order to us and we'll get the correct one sent out right away". So, let me get this straight, they completely screw up my order, but now I'm on the hook for additional hassle and expense to return the holster. I then decided to take a good look at the holster before returning it for a replacement. That's when I realized that this thing is garbage. Here's why: 1. The sweat guard. This was the first thing I noticed upon opening the package, before I even realized it was RIGHT handed. They cut the sweat guard in a way that causes the gun to pinch you when re-holstering. I know because this one pinched me twice. It's also a sloppy looking cut. They even ran the blade too far on the cut, leaving a nick in the kydex and didn't bother to clean it up. 2. Contrary to the design WPT2 advertises on their website, they sent me a holster designed in a tuckable style configuration for a full size 45 auto with a light mounted. I've been carrying a concealed handgun for about 20 years and this tuckable nonsense is a gimmick that does not work, especially for a full size, light bearing handgun. I searched the internet and the WPT2 Instagram page and could not find another example of an IWB, light bearing holster designed in this manner. 3. The sight channel is way too tall, crooked and sloppy looking. 4. The mod-wing is loose and cannot be tightened because that also adjusts the retention. The Chicago screws are too short to go through the mod wing and spacers. The two-piece screws are barely connected by a few threads. I've gone back and forth with WPT2 via email, because I'm not interested in receiving a left handed version of what they originally sent me. I want my money back, but WPT2 refuses to refund me and hides behind their "terms and conditions". They keep saying they want to "make this right", but I don't see how they can. The holster they sent me is garbage and not worth $75. It's an unrealistic, gimmicky design with shoddy craftsmanship and it's RIGHT handed. I was ripped off by WPT2. read more

They do tend to quote you quicker times than they actually meet, so be prepared for that. However, I really didn't need the gun for that time anyway so it wasn't a big deal. I went in after a couple months not quite sure if it would be ready (even though on a couple occasions they said it was next in line) but was relieved when it was sitting on the done bench ready to go. The gun looks good and it was a good deal so I'm happy with the results. Just don't listen to their time quote and you'll eventually be happy with the work because they do a good job. read more

Ordered a Glock 17 holster and mag holsters. Took 10 weeks to get the holsters and they are average at best. I own a lot of kydex and shoot for a living and this setup wasn't worth the $140 or the 10 week wait. read more

Terrible customer service.I purchased a lower parts kit that was out of spec. They would not return it because it was short the trigger guard roll pin. I did not remove it in fear of breaking off the ear. A custom gun shop should not be selling cheep GI parts. Lost my business over a 2 cent part. read more

ordered a holster and when i called they said a couple of weeks. received a ordered done message a couple of weeks later. waited 3 weeks later still no holster. left an email and 10 days later i got a call that my holster was read and asked if i wanted it shipped or if was picking it up. i asked them to ship it and after another 10 days later i emailed them. no answer back so i called and no one knew anything about it. i called the next day and they said it was shipping out that day. i received the holster a couple of days later and it didnt even fit the gun correctly. so i made a video and sent it to them and the response was "yes that has too much movement" no asking what they could do or hey im sorry for screwing up the whole thing from the beginning. no offer to correct it so i guess thats the kind of company they are. so now i have a completely useless holster that i spent 75.00 dollars for. thanks guys for your give a crap read more
