RUN DONT WALK as far AWAY from this company as you can get! The owner Ryan is literally the shadiest business owner I have ever had to deal with. For starters, they were a no show for 3 different appointments we had scheduled initially. No phone call. No message. Nothing. When I finally got them out to do the work, the real nightmare began. I paid over 5000 dollars to have them come out to install a new pool pump and automation system and to re pipe the pool plumbing to move the equipment closer to the house. The job ended up taking them over a month, as they told me after the fact that they could apparently only work 1 day a week which is Saturday. This left me without a pump for an extended period of time in the middle of summer. When I spoke to Ryan initially, he claimed that he had done "hundreds of these installs in the past". I quickly learned this was not the case and he was "learning on the job". The weekend that they "completed" the job, unfortunately I was out of town for work, so I had my wife pay them without having a chance to see the finished product. BIG MISTAKE on my part. I came home to discover there were multiple leaks in the plumbing, and an automation system which was supposed to automate all the pool equipment(solar, lights, etc) which didn't automate anything other than turning the pump on and off. In addition, when re piping the plumbing, they forgot to include the hose spigot in the plumbing which allows me to drain the pool!! Now here is the kicker...when I called Ryan to explain the problems I discovered, I was being forwarded to voicemail repeatedly. I literally called him everyday for 2 weeks and each time I was forwarded to voicemail, leaving messages with NO return call. Now, when he finally eventually did answer the phone and I explained the problems to him...ready for his response?? "You will have to call someone else out there to fix those problems. I spent to much time on that job and I am done. I'm not coming back out there again". NEED I SAY MORE???? I don't even know how this company is still in business. HORRIBLE! read more

We had our pool serviced with a new filter installation and pricing was comparable to Amazon with reasonable cost for labor. Ryan was very responsive, came to diagnose the problem and after we talked the phone came the next day to replace the temperature sensor and added a thermometer to monitor the pool temperature from within. I am a new pool owner and found Ryan after I had to fire my previous pool guy who let my new water go to 2500 phosphates in 2 months and never recognized that the previous owners of this pool plumbed the filter in reverse! Ryan quickly recognized what needed to be done, plumbing wise, reconfigured the filter and put in a check valve that was missing from the solar system, too. The previous guy missed that one, too. I found Ryan through yelp and read all the reviews before calling him. The reviews were impressive and I didn't have any word-of-mouth recommendations so I went ahead and had him come out for our attached Jacuzzi. I called him and left a message and he immediately returned my phone call and scheduled to come out the first working day. The jets were not properly working and there seem to be an air leak or something else going on with the system. He was able to find the air leaks right away and fixed the problem within minutes. When I asked what I owed him for his service he said it was too small of a problem to charge me and he was on his way to another home close by so even the ride out wasn't a problem for him. These type of people are few and far between and you don't meet them very often in business anymore. I will definitely be keeping his phone number in my contact list for any other future issues and be recommending him to all the friends who don't have a pool repair person either. My wife and I moved into our home in San Marcos last Nov (2012) and are new to owning a pool. The pool is a bit dated and we have had various challenges getting into a rythym with understanding the equipment and keeping on top of our new "project". Right away, we hired a pool company to help us out and soon found we were being nickle and dimed for every little thing as well as having a hard time with responsiveness. We hired another company which provided poor service and were also unresponsive when we had equipment failure. Then we found Ryan last month -- Five Star so far! Ryan was very responsive to my initial call, came right out to troubleshoot some issues and ended up cleaning our main pool filter even though we were not on his schedule and he charged a very fair price! Bottom line is pools are not my business, that is why we are paying for the service; any pool sevice company should be responsive, knowledgable, and competent -- Ryan has demonstrated all these qualities in a pool his service...
