Josh installed lighting about 2 years ago and in April 2020 5 lights began malfunctioning. I emailed Josh and he sent out some men who replaced the defective bulbs. They also took one of the light fixtures, which they said was still under warranty, and would come back in a couple of days with a replacement. I never heard from them. I emailed Josh multiple times, and he finally responded that the fixture was no longer being produced and would have to sell me a different fixture. He would get back to me with options. After not hearing back and sending another email, Josh finally responded a week later with some options. I responded back immediately with my preferences and I never heard from him again. That was a month ago, and they still have the fixture. Since then, 3 other bulbs have malfunctioned. They do not stand by their work and are unresponsive. Very unprofessional. UPDATE: After I completed the above review, I received a call from Jennifer, Josh's wife and business partner. She was very responsive and despite my assertion that I was done with them, she had someone come out and replace the defective light for free. I requested a quote to repair and/or replace a sprinkler and drip system for a fairly typical 3br family residence in Scottsdale - not elaborate. They came out and produced a quote which I felt was high. 2500 to adjust water pressure and replace/aim 33 sprinkler heads. 2500 to replace the drip system. I couldn't afford to do it all at once, so I suggested that they could just do the sprinklers and help me out by taking a little time to patch the leaks in the drip. I got a flat no on what I felt was a reasonable suggestion. The rep could tell I was disappointed, so he said optimistically, "we can do the $2500 worth of sprinkler head repair within a day." My One Star Review for Pro Irrigation Services: I did an internet search and found good reviews about them here and on google (and nothing but high praise on their website : ) So I called them Wednesday of last week and made an appointment with Josh to get an estimate for some work I needed done. He said Tyler would be here between 1 and 5 pm today (Monday)...and he would call to let me know when he was on the way. I thought a 4 hour window seemed a bit much but figured they had good reviews and so I'd set aside an entire afternoon and wait for them. But today after waitng from 1 to 4:30 pm...I still hadn't heard from Tyler and so I called to see if they were still coming and spoke to Josh who said Tyler had been at another commercial job all day and would try and get a hold of him and ask him to call me. By 4:55 I still hadn't heard anything and thought I'd call before they closed for the day to see what was up. As I called and began to leave a message...my call waiting showed that someone from Pro Irrigation was calling me so I clicked over and it was Josh who said he'd left a voice-mail and text message for Tyler and still hadn't heard back from him. I told him not to worry about it that I couldn't wait any longer. I had other things I needed to do but also wanted them to know why I was cancelling...so I explained that since I'd been waiting at that point 3 minutes shy of 4 hours without so much as phone call from Tyler...and that if this was the way they'd treat me when they were trying to get my business...I figured it would be the same or worse if I hired them. Rather than apologize Josh said that I had the "wrong impression" about them...and when I started to respond...and he HUNG UP ON ME! Apparently Josh wanted to put some icing on the "wrong impression" cake they'd been serving me all afternoon. --------------- Update: The elusive Tyler did finally call and leave a message for me at 5:21 pm...saying he could be at my home in a half an hour. That would have been 5:51 pm...almost an hour past the 4 hour window they'd asked for...and that's giving him the benefit of the doubt that he would have actually shown up in 30 minutes. read more

I Did not get service. Website clearly states they do New, replace and repair irrigation systems but was told they only do new or replace old with new. I just bought a house on a 1/3 of an acre and the whole back wall is covered in effervescence as well as the ground to about 5 feet away from the wall. JP called and asked if it needed to be replaced or repaired? I don't know that's why I contacted an irrigation company. He stated they only replace or install new and told me I should call sprinkler world. Ok, so we all know what it's like to need a service and usually when we are in DIRE need of someone fast, we cannot find someone reliable or even to call you back! We bought a new home in Desert Ridge and the previous owners had put a lot of time and money into the landscaping, including cactus, palms, flowering plants and banana trees. After 2 weeks of living in our new home, I noticed the plants looking pretty sad. I had no idea if the irrigation was working or not, since this was new to me. I called 3 irrigation companies, all 3 were answering machines, I left messages and to this day(2 weeks later) have not received a follow up call from any of them. I had waited 24 hours for a call and found Pro Irrigation Services. I called, Josh answered, he had someone here THAT DAY, he even showed up AFTER 5pm when most people are going home, fixed the issue and explained everything to me. He charged a very fair rate for parts and labor and everything works perfect! I will have them out this fall when things get slower for them, to update my system and make sure that it's all working properly! Don't waste your time calling all the other ones and don't waste your money trying to find someone who is the lowest price, it will cost you more to have it done over RIGHT! Great service. My old system was falling apart and the estimator was very honest with me about the problems that would come from trying to patch it back together. The replacement system was priced right and installed quickly. They did a very neat job, with great detail on tucking the drip lines under rocks and in the plants. Note that they do accept credit cards but only up to $1500. They were good about taking an electronic payment from my bank. (They also take checks, but who uses those???) I had Pro Irrigation come out to look at an issue I was having with pressure within the system and the sprinkler heads not operating effectively. The office coordination was exceptional, got an immediate call back and the gentlemen that came to the house called when they were on their way and showed up on time. They quickly addressed the issue which was simply a drip valve manually in the "on" position from my landscaper. I was a little surprised on paying for 2 guys for an hour for such a quick fix but having the system working again is worth it. After having numerous companies review the issues I was having with the irrigation system that came with the house I purchased over 4 years ago, I finally found Pro Irrigation Services. The other companies simply wanted to band-aid my existing system which was completely defective and inefficient. It made more sense to me to abandon the old and start over with a new system. And that's exactly what Tyler recommended. It was music to my ears. I personally thought having two separate systems (one for the back yard and one for the front yard) made sense for a yard of .67 acres. Again, Tyler recommended that right off the bat. I didn't tell him what I wanted, I just listened to what he thought would be best. And, FINALLY, after 4 years of searching, I found a company that would do a lot more than a half-ass job trying to repair a broken system for the same price. We abandoned the ridiculously inadequate system and started fresh! A new irrigation system was installed in my back yard for my back yard. Tyler even made sure to add a zone specific for my raised bed garden which has different watering requirements as well as a different zone for my citrus and fruit trees. My front yard which is desert landscaping was corrected by removing the old, dripping system with new copper pipes, a pressure regulator, shut-off valves, etc. If an irrigation system could be sexy, mine is one hot mama! Tyler was awesome to work with. He is very professional, courteous and prompt. He did not try to up-sell me on anything I didn't need. He followed through on every promise and called me within 2 hours of the system installation to schedule a walk-through to go over everything so I would know how my new "Rolls Royce" irrigation system works as well as the 5 year warranty. Called company to get a bid on irrigation/drip for my new yard. No one answered the phone and I didn't leave a message. Then a lady calls me back and I explain to her what I'm looking for. I'm assuming it was the owner. She tells me her project manager will call me back to schedule appointment to give a bid. Project manger(friend of owner and his girlfriend) calls like a week later and I explain to him what I'm looking for and he tells me to email him my plan. At that point I'm thinking to myself, your going to write an entire irrigation bid on over an acre lot in a few hours without coming out!!! For the fun of it I send over my landscaping plan. He then calls me back an hour later and tells me he's not interested in doing irrigation because I won't let him plant trees and do other work. Rude. Clearly Inexperienced. I have waited a few weeks to write this review. Originally, I had a leak under my patio with my irrigation system. I asked Pro Irrigation to give me an estimate of what it would cost to fix it. They came out and said the fix would potentially cost about 1/2 of what it would cost to put in a new system. I decided to let them put in new pipes. My original system had six sprinkler zones and four Plant and tree zones. I expected the exact configuration on my new system and was never told that it would be different. After cutting my Pool refill pipe and cutting another pipe, which they just threw the cut pipe under a bush and covered up the broken end, they told me my new system was ready to go. I had just resurfaced my pool and I found piles of rocks and dirt that had been thrown in the pool by the people digging the lines. At the end, they never checked for leaks or even program my timer correctly. In a few days, I noticed that I no longer had four zones for my front and back trees and plants. Everything was on the same line. I was never told this would be the configuration. Also, there were two leaks that they had to come back and repair. I would not have let them install this irrigation if I had known everything was going to be on one line. After several phone calls and some very harsh language, I was told that they were trying to save me some money. They should have told me what they planned to do. I did not ask them to save me money; I wanted the same type of system that I originally had. They agreed to add the additional line for $500 extra, but I had invested as much money with Pro Irrigation as I wanted to invest. I continue to have issues with the way they set up the watering timer. I won't call them because I don't want to have to deal with them anymore. I would NOT recommend them to anyone. I asked several times to have a talk with the owner, but no one would ever let me talk to him. I could only talk to the salesperson and the estimator of the job. Now I can't water my front yard differently than the back yard and I can't control the amount of water my trees get vs. what the plants get. Everything is on one line. I just decided to use this as a lesson. Just because you see good Ratings for a company on the Internet, does not mean that company does a good job. After sitting home for 3 days waiting for another guy to show to fix my flooded irrigation box I went on-line and called Pro Irrigation Services. (They have actually changed their name to "Pro Outdoor Services" recently.) They came right at 8 AM the very next day. The technician, Thomas, was smart, competent, friendly, polite. He analyzed the problem, gave me several options, an acurate, reasonable quote and fixed the problem within about an hour. I would HIGHLY recommend this company. They also offer pool maintenance, outdoor lighting, concrete services and a few other things. Pro Irrigation is AWESOME! I had an irrigation company come out to my home last month and re-do my entire drip system. The end result? Completely dissatisfied and not a lot I could do about it, but consider the whole job a donation to a worthless company. A few weeks after that job was done and I realized I was not satisfied with their work, I called Pro Irrigation to get an estimate to correct a few things the other company 'really' screwed up... Pro Irrigation (Tom) was out to my house within just a few days of my call... Not only did he give me a winning bid, he also spent 45 minutes of his own time answering general questions I had regarding my landscaping, etc. In conversation, I told him about the dissatisfaction I had with my new drip system and asked him how he would have done it differently. Compared to the info I had researched on the Internet and his answers, I know his method was for sure the honest & correct way. When it was all done & said, I wound up scheduling Pro Irrigation to come out and re-do my entire drip system (yes, two new systems, one after another, all within 6 weeks). It was a HUGE strain on my wallet, but something I wanted to get done right and once & for all! And, yes, I was given a detailed estimate on a professional/legit bid document and was signed by the both of us. The morning of the install, they called to let me know they were on their way... The end result now? COMPLETELY SATISFIED! * the crew's arrival time was prompt * the crew was accompanied by Tom at arrival, so he could confirm all work that was going to be done, answer any last questions I had and provided me with a copy of the work order *the crew consisted of 4-5 people, ALL very friendly, courteous & professional and were more than happy to answer any questions I had while they were working (very hard, I might add) * The crew completed the job all within 1 day. The products/parts they used and the quality of their workmanship was all top-notch. * The clean-up when they were done was EXCELLENT * When the job was done, one of the workers came to my door, walked around the perimeter of my house with me to explain what was done, pointing things out and answering all of my questions in DETAIL. I am beyond impressed with the recent services provided to us by Pro Irrigation. Our ancient drip system had given up and we needed the whole thing replaced. Pro Irrigation was willing to come out immediately and said they could replace the system within the next week since the drought/flood combo was killing off all of our landscaping. I called a few other companies in an attempt to get some quotes, but no one else would replace the system for at least another month as it was "too hot," which was not an option for us at this point. Throughout the entire process the communication was great (called to confirmed timing) and they actually showed up when they said they would. This was one of three companies I received a bid from for replacement of my sprinkler system. It wasn't the lowest bid, but the person who gave us the bid (Matt) was the most professional of the people we met with, and took the most time to explain the work being proposed. We hired them for the project. They did the work on schedule, and the quality was excellent. However, they failed to run drip lines to a few of our trees. When we pointed out the issue, they acknowledged the problem and came out the same day to fix it. That is what impressed us most. Bottom line, they do what they say they'll do, and they do it well. First, I would have provided five stars, but Pro Irrigation never actually did any work for me. Yet. I requested an estimate and Josh was very accommodating scheduling the time. This was then confirmed by Tyler a day before. I then promptly received a quote, which was very reasonable, a follow-up phone call, and then I requested the service. I ended up cancelling at the last minute when I found out that a family member had come to the residence and made the repairs without telling me. They graciously cancelled. I'm writing this review simply due to this company's attentiveness and professionalism. They were excellent in their communications (except when I cancelled I didn't get a confirmation that they received it) and I felt confident they would perform the work. I've been in the process of getting estimates for adding $1,500 - $2,000 of additional lighting in my backyard. They were apprehensive about responding to my request to give me a quote. One year ago today, Pro Misting, Luxe Outdoor Environments, WHATEVER one of several names they call themselves, installed a misting system. They were efficient and I was appreciative, but they installed the pump under the bedroom window [[and it makes a TON OF NOISE] and they promised to relocate it for me as part of the original install -- I agreed to do it at the first year service appointment so save them some effort. Also one or two misting heads didn't work. They sent me off to buy new nozzles, which I did. They still didn't work. I tried that multiple times. Then this year, 2017, I had an appointment, scheduled well in advance, to have the annual service and to have the pump moved. The guy came out -- no crew -- and even though I had taken all day off to wait for them as they wouldn't give me a "window," he came after 5pm and said he didn't have time to do the work or the supplies! He also said that the reason the nozzles on a couple of them weren't working wasn't the nozzle, but something in the pipes. Of course, that would be warranty work, but they NEVER DID FIX IT or even make an ATTEMPT to FIX it under the warranty, which expires today. Then his office managers/owners announced that moving the pump would now be my responsibility and I would be paying for it! TURNS OUT ... THEY DON'T LIVE UP TO THE WORD, THEY DON'T HONOR THEIR WARRANTY, AND THEY ARE REALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. I found the owner to be kind of nasty. read more

I had a sprinkler system that was 15+ years old that was requiring fixes way too often. Josh came out and gave an honest appraisal and took his time and detailed out many options of how we could proceed. We opted to replace the entire system with PVC versus the poly drip system that was there. They also replaced the valves, filter, drip system pressure regulator, and timer. They came out first thing in the morning and replaced everything by early afternoon. The system came with a five year warranty for all parts installed against improper installation and faulty operation. Josh and crew were professional, did what they claimed and price didn't change at completion of job. As no one is perfect the only criticism I have is that a couple rocks ended up in the pool and they were a few minutes late to start. But really I couldn't ask for more. Great job Josh! read more

I had been having problems with a fountain on my front patio for quite a while. The pump burned out, the timer quit, and lastly, rodents chewed through the pump power cord. Pro Irrigation fixed the first two problems, even replacing a pump that was defective from the factory. The most recent problem with the chewed cord was resolved quickly and ingeniously by Josh. he showed up on schedule to assess the problem and returned within a few days with a solution that should forever foil the rodents. He armored the cord with a length of flex conduit (wires removed) and put the spliced power cord in a junction box he fastened to the wall behind the fountain pedestal. Problem solved. Reasonable prices, good service. Call them if you have a problem. I can recommend them based on my experience. read more

After dealing with 3 other companies that claimed they specialized in water softeners, not one was able to identify why my clothes were scratchy or why the salty water was set up to drain into the side of the yard. Fortunately, I found Pro Irrigation Services. Their representative Tom Moss came out and identified both issues within the first 5 minutes. Tom was surprised that no one else had identified the pipe in the garage wall that led to the drain in the laundry room and out into the sewer pipes. Although others had tested my water, Tom was the only one that knew what setting the system needed to make my clothes soft without using any fabric softener. He returned a day later with the appropriate supplies and copper piping and re-piped the system so the salty water went into the garage wall and came out into the laundry room. Not only did Tom do a great job with the piping, he trained me on what he was doing so I could maintain it on my own going forward. My husband and I both give his work an A+. Our next project with Pro Irrigation Services is to have them add another irrigation line that is dedicated to our garden. Stay tuned for another review! read more

My mother has had 2 service calls on a 20 year irrigation system. Jose and his brother were on the first service call and they were very knowledgeable and worked quickly to do the best job to reroute the main line around a root that caused a broken main line. The second call was a leak due to a loose connection and tyler came out to fix it. All 3 men were courteous and very polite. They worked diligently to do the best job. I would highly recommend them to my friends. The charges were very reasonable. read more

FYI - These guys also go by Pro Home Services. I'm guessing the "irrigation" name is a limiter because they are capable of many types of great work like lighting, misting, landscaping etc. Josh, Miguel and the crew did a great job replacing my irrigation system as well as some general lanscaping. Work was tough due to very rocky terrain, but the job was finished on budget and slightly ahead of schedule. I will certainly recommend these guys to any friends / family that need these types of service. read more

Had scheduled for Pro Irrigation come to my home this week... a few times. First phone call was on Monday to them.... After a couple of cancellations in the beginning of the week. One because of my schedule change and the second because of their having to reschedule we finally scheduled for Thursday - low and behold it rained. So I get it they couldn't come and I didn't expect them to. I rescheduled for Friday afternoon and told them it would have to be late because I had to work until around 4:00. The girl on the phone was nice and said that was great and that would work out fine. Friday morning (today) 9:30am I get a call from the tech while I was working saying that they were running early and wanted to be at my home in 5 minutes. I proceeded to tell the repair tech that I was at work and had arranged a late in the day appointment because I had to work. He said he wasn't sure if they could do that . I said I would really like to get this done before the weekend as I had been trying to get it done all week. He said he would see what they could do. Next at about noon I get another call from a girl in their office saying that they would be coming in about twenty minutes. I proceeded to tell her the same thing that I was working and wouldn't be home until later and it would not work out. I have dogs and an elderly mother living with me that is not well and they would need to wait for me to get home. I told them I would call them if I got done early. So I work as quickly as I could trying to get done early to rush home and I get ANOTHER call at 2:30 from the same girl saying they were waiting at my home. I got upset and told her AGAIN that I was not home yet and asked them to please not knock on the door and to please come at our scheduled time. She then tells me we should reschedule for next week when I have a day off. I don't just have days off every week. She then tells me THAT IT IS FRIDAY AND THEY WANT TO GO HOME EARLY! Why in the heck would you make an appointment with a PAYING CUSTOMER and then say you want to go home early and need to reschedule. SO UNPROFESSIONAL! She kept a friendly voice and said we can reschedule. At that point I told her we have been playing this game all week of rescheduling and I would think that keeping your clients happy would be their top priority not letting their help go home early because it's FRIDAY! I told her forget it I would find a reputable company who will actually show up when scheduled and not harass me with three phone calls while I am trying to do MY WORK all day. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY WHAT A JOKE THEY ARE!!!!! I see good reviews for them and that is why I wanted to hire them to fix a pressure problem with my sprinkler system. Read the bad reviews first their are several. Just thought people should know you might not get what you are hoping for with Pro-Irrigation if you schedule an appointment. You might just end up with a head ache and still a broken system in your yard having to make yet another phone call to someone else. Don't waste your time with them! read more
