Scam!!! I can not stress this enough do not hire this company. I made the mistake in hiring them because they had good reviews. I hired them to pack and move my home from Ramona to National City. The day of pack out | was told they would arrive at 0800 then the day of I was told 0900 however they showed up at 1045 I was told they would be done that day but they took their time which led to them not completing the pack out until the next day around 1300. Because of this I was drastically over charged. When they finally moved everything to my home I was told I would have a 3 person crew however I was charged for a a 4 person crew because another person showed up which I didn't ask for he was not there the whole time either he left for a few hours and then came back yet | was charged for 4 person crew. On top of that they broke a step in my new home, lost all the couch hooks for my sectional couch, and broke my makeup vanity. I have tried resolving the repairs and reimbursment with the owner but he continuously avoids my calls. Another reason i hired them was because the owner told me they were insured. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau. Needless to say I will not be getting reimbursed for the damages or repairs. It is an expensive hard lesson learned but I'm hoping by sharing my experience it prevents others from being scammed read more

The gentlemen we had were AMAZING! I moved in December and paid for three movers. I got Viktor, Jay and I forget the third guy but they were polite, respectful, took care in wrapping and moving my furniture and didn't bang walls or doors. I used to be a GM of a furniture company and ran logistics at our warehouse and this type of care is hard to come by, especially with such demanding physical labor. O.M.G...why we had NEVER hired movers before is beyond me! Andre and Ivan did an AMAZING job...seriously. My husband and I asked them to be at our place at 1 pm (on a Valentine's Day Sunday!) but called us because they were available a little earlier. They had no issues when we told them that we were not there yet so they waited patiently for us to be ready at 1. Viktor, whom we spoke to from the beginning, was there and introduced us to our awesome movers. We moved from a one bedroom apartment, upstairs in Normal Heights to a two bedroom downstairs in University Heights. The guys showed up with a giant (moving) truck, tons of carpets to protect everything, tape and plastic wrap. We chose to pack about 90% of our belongings (which they appreciated) and the rest they wrapped up in plastic and blankets. They even rolled up and taped our rugs up for us. We hired them for 3 hours but added and extra hour because they helped us disassemble some furniture and they assembled it at our new place. Besides not having to do the super heavy lifting, I loved the fact that they actually asked where to put the boxes and furniture...they didn't just dump it in the living room. Both our movers we're diligent and careful not to scrape anything...nice professional and quiet guys. I definitely recommend you guys hire movers for your next big move and Pro Movers do a great job! $75 (cash) an hour is COMPLETELY worth it. Seriously. This company will quote you a very low price and then it will end up being four times that much! They did not take care of our items and ruined my bed and bed sheets from getting them all dirty. A super special and rare gift from our tour in Italy... SHATTERED. They refused to compensate me for what they ruined. It took them 11 hours to move a two bedroom apartment with a small garage. Stay away.. I confirmed the job with them last night and they didn't even bother to notify me that there was an issue this morning (day of my move). I had to call looking for them- they gave me and ETA of over an hour after my original appointment time. When they failed to show up as promised AGAIN, I called and was told they couldn't come til tomorrow. Why would I trust them to show up? I can understand that sometimes problems arise unexpectedly.. however, they couldn't even be courteous of my time to at least tell me in advance that they couldn't make it so that I could make alternate arrangements. Showed up on time (slightly early, no charge), pricing lower than the competition and packing materials INCLUDED. They packed and moved everything including the grand piano (no extra fee). My move was a little complicated because some things were going into storage, and some to the new house. Only 2 items were misdirected, and the owner Viktor met me at storage to spend an hour finding them, then reloading the storage unit. No charge, of course, and genuine apologies, so they'll make things right. All my items safely packed by them for the move, nothing harmed. They helped place furniture and unpack at the new house. This review is for that one time, when Viktors employees makes a mistake, and costs you a brand new expensive piece of furniture. This is how Pro Movers handled a situation that they admittedly did wrong. Don't let this be you because moving is expensive but your furniture is even more expensive so hiring a company that makes things right when they did wrong is worth gold. When Pro Movers came to our house to move our furniture from one house to another, we noticed they did a great job of wrapping items and were careful with our belongings. We told them they were doing a great job and to pay special attention to one item- our brand new dining table that had never actually been used and was still disassembled from West Elm. When we arrived to our new home and put our dining table together for the first time (same day as moving day), we immediately noticed a large gash in the table top in addition to several large scratches at the sides of the tabletop resulting in large wood splinters appearing that the table had been scraped hard against something that was wood . We immediately called Victor and told him about the table to which he responded he would talk to his moving crew. He called us back confirming that his guys admitted they did not wrap our dining table to their standard. The wood splinters were from the floor of the moving truck which was wood confirming that they pushed our table unwrapped per their standard and it resulted in the scratching and splintering of the piece. His only offer was to pay $.60 on the lb for the damaged item. As mentioned, this was a brand new West Elm dining table that cost $850 which I had the receipt for, and he was offering a mere $120 for his workers negligence. I was crushed at this offer! We called a furniture repair man as recommend by West Elm who came to do the best he could with a white laminate top but it still looks damaged. The repair guy charged us $160 and we sent the invoice to Victor to which we felt at minimum he should pay. Victor replied that he would only pay up to $120 for the damage. We are incredibly disappointed in this company and how they value their clients belongings. I strongly suggest not hiring this company. read more

They were always on time, communicative, and familiar with rules for high rise buildings in downtown which is sometimes tricky to coordinate with building management. They also were very careful with all my belongings, did not "bleed" time, went the extra mile in trying in wrapping my furniture, and assembling my furniture. It was just my luck that both my moves were made during the rain. What amazed me was that their attitude was always positive, despite the rainy conditions. It was encouraging to have their help. I hate moving and always get very stressed. Unfortunately my husband was away and I had to move all by myself. I found Promovers and decided to give them a try due to the great reviews on Yelp. I placed a call to Viktor and he was very helpful. Quote was very straightforward and he even mentioned they will be able to move my things to another storage facility (some things were going to the new apartment and others were going to storage). On move in day, two guys showed up and got to work! I did not have to lift a finger and it was very smooth. They were also very friendly and got the job done with a smile on their faces. I definitely recommend using them if you want a stress-free move. Only thing I would suggest is to factor traffic when picking your time if moving on a weekday.. This review is a long time coming. I spoke to Viktor on the phone and he was very helpful. We had two stops to make, one to pick up a cabinet, and another to pick up a piano. My husband and I moved from our fifth story apartment with an elevator that was being used by about three other moving companies. Three guys were sent over. Upon arrival, they carefully wrapped everything, ensuring that everything was properly padded. For a few items I didn't get to box yet, they had their own supplies that they allowed me to use. I will keep this part short: The three guys worked their butts off. Honestly. Especially with our apartment being on the fifth level, as well as having to move a piano from my parents place that has a very narrow staircase. It took about 12 hours, but it definitely wasn't because they slacked off. One of the guys ended up getting hurt on the move (I hope you were okay!), so Viktor himself and two other guys came to finish up the job. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the competition out there. They did amazing. They made sure not to scratch the hardwood floors at our new home. They did so well, in fact, that my parents hired them again for their move just a couple weeks ago. My parents loved their service and their hard work! The gentlemen who picked up my belongings in San Diego were almost 2 hours late. They did call just before the pickup window closed to say that they were fueling up, but when they didn't turn up 45 minutes later I had to call only to find out they were having mechanical issues. I had the company store my things for a few days before driving up and meeting me at my new place in San Luis Obispo. I was originally told they would be here at 11 am, then it was a little later, they finally arrived after 3:30 pm. To their credit, the men were efficient, quick, and entirely pleasant while they were with me. Just not punctual or very communicative when they were not. My grandfathers bar arrived damaged, but I am confident I can repair it. I would have given 4 stars if it were only the tardiness and lack of clear communication that were the issues. I had most of my belongings put into a storage unit by the movers while I look for a permanent place. I went back the next day to find two things that DO NOT belong to me, a camcorder and nice China tea cups. I called Viktor to let him know, as he had mentioned to me that he had another move up into San Luis Obispo coming up so that they could retrieve the items and return them to the person they had moved prior to me--I'm assuming these were inadvertently left on the moving truck. Viktor said he would call me back when they were close by. He failed to do so. What a disappointment! I understand trucks break down, things take longer than expected, ect. But the lack of communication and the lack of interest in correcting an error like this is unforgivable. read more

AMAZING! Viktor and Reddick helped me move out of my 2 bedroom unit with the most professional service. They arrived on time, did a quick tour of the apartment and promptly started working. These guys are simply amazing! We had a huge move from San Diego to Los Angeles. They were very responsive when scheduling, accommodated a special request to stop by scales and listened to our needs. They showed up promptly at 5 am ready to go with two trucks and supplies (we have a huge blended family, so lots of stuff). We did choose to prepack major of our own stuff so we had a room full of boxes ready to go and a all furniture unwrapped. They wrapped everything in blankets and wrap, not even one ding on anything. Best movers available! I heard about Pro Movers from my sister. My sister's friend used them before and were very pleased with their service. I emailed them and Viktor responded quickly. It was very simple to set up the move with Viktor. Give him as much details as possible about your move and his estimate is pretty spot on. He recommended a 24 ft truck with 3-4 movers. It was exactly what we needed. Their rates are pretty great too. Viktor and his crew were quick and very efficient. I was moving from San Diego to Orange County and was stressed out about finding loaders to load up my uhaul and unload on both ends. Everyone I spoke with was so overpriced and had a ridiculous minimum hours I had to pay for to get my uhaul loaded. I spoke with ProMovers and they not only had the best rate but they offered up a moving truck and drove everything up to Orange County and unloaded it there. They took such incredible care of all of my things and wrapped the difficult things I couldn't wrap myself. They were on time and didn't stop going until 7 hours later when we were done with unloading. I would use them again in a heartbeat! Used this company in December and they were over two hours late and would not offer a discount for the time I had to wait. During the move several expensive pans and kitchen wear were stolen. In addition, wall art was stolen originally costing $80 and I only received a check for $55. I also am missing bed screws and table screws and my table that was perfectly fine when I checked was shattered and had to be thrown away. Very difficult move. Yesterday I had great moving experience with Victor and Max! They did full packing of my 3bd condo in Clairemont. I was surprised that I didn`t pay a dollar for materials. They include everything in one, simply to understand rate. Very polite and smart guys actually. I can`t imagine how long it would take for myself, but they wrapped and packed all the furniture I wanted to wrap for 5 hours.
