I love coming here! I always feel welcomed when walking in. The first time I came here was 2016 when I was looking for a local place to accommodate for my bridal party before my wedding. I never really liked getting acrylics but after getting them done for my wedding and bc they did such a great job I kept coming back. Vy and Kim are my favorites. Vy does my nails short the way I like them. Most places won't accommodate that for some reason ‍ but this place does. I only let Vy or Kim do my pedicures. This is a good spot and to date, haven't been dissatisfied with the gel manicures or pedicures (over 3 years now). They lost a star because while the women wear gloves during pedicures (completely understandable, wouldn't you?), they don't change them between customers. I've seen the ladies that work here use the same gloves for myself and other clients by removing them and putting them back on. Considering that I've seen women with nails so thick they have to dremmel them, fresh gloves between clients would be much appreciated (they use liners for the foot spa which is good). This is no affront to the business itself but a personal gripe here. Some of The clients that come here (and maybe it's not unique to this location) can be extremely off putting. Almost every time I come here, some matronly "let me speak to your manager" type middle age, middle class woman comes in and ruins the experience. These particular types come in, start barking at the staff here "the water is too hot! Now it's too cold, ouch my ingrown toenails, make this toe more round, massage my legs more, I don't like that color(the one they personally picked out) fetch me a different one" etc. I mean come on, it's a nail salon in a strip mall, if you have to come here to bark at people to feel powerful, time to re-evaluate your life choices. Plenty of times these women do nothing but cause tension and discomfort in the whole place by being exceptionally loud and rude to the poor women here bent over digging ingrown toenails out of their fat feet. If you make an appointment, beware they make great efforts to take walk-ins, so sometimes it does feel that your process is a bit rushed to accommodate more customers read more

The manicure started off ok but then the technician started to really pick on my cuticles. In doing this, she made my pinky bleed so I asked her to stop. I just went to Pro Nails for the first time and I was Very Pleased with the whole experience. I had the Signature Pedicure on a Pedicure Thrown which includes an exfoliating scrub, massage of the feet and lower legs, a mask, hot towels....nail care and polish of course.....really "the works" and I thought it was GREAT! The staff is friendly and skilled and I feel as though they thought of everything. The treatment was relaxing and well worth the price. No way, I got suckered in by the sweet talk!! I went in, told Jennifer I wanted thin nails and came out with uneven things that will 'wear' out eventually. Acrylic on my skin and ugly nails... She never paid attention to my original shape of my nails and tried to give me pointy ones! YUCK! On top of that, I JUST looked over my statements from last year (I went here in December) and they charged me $36 for something I DID NOT do! I only went in once and it wasn't that much. That's was a terrible experience!!! I went few times before and that's was good so that's why I come again today. But after today, no more!! First, I do my feet nail. It was hurt!! Ok, fine. Absolutely horrid service. Poor artistry. Completely filthy location. My nail techs hands were not washed, she pours the alcohol on the table and dips her brush in it. When she was doing my French tip I could have done better myself. Completely messy and not clean line. I had to keep asking her to re do it but it was clear that she could not do it. Finally I just had her completely remove all of it and I left. This nail salon is a lost cause and everyone is rude and dirty. I will NEVER go to this nail salon again. I may even call the health department to inspect their filthy location. I tried this place for the first time last week. My cousin lives it here so I thought I'd give it a try and I can sit with my cousin and chat. I always get gel manicures. I use to spend 12-15$ a week for a reg manicure and have it chip in a few days. So over a year ago I opted to spend the $30ish to get gel/schlac manicures. My gel usually last 3 weeks...sometimes longer! That wasn't the case at this salon. I got my gel done on a Monday and by Sunday two nails were chipped/peeling off. $30 for 7 days of a manicure is not for me. I was disappointed to say the least. I'm not sure if it was the nail polish or excessive acetone to get the previous gel polish off before that caused the manicure to be so short lived. This particular nail salon is genuinely a diamond in the rough! The staff was professional and friendly and I had the best Spa Pedicure. The hot stones were heaven and Cathy my pedicurist made me feel comfortable and oh so relaxed. My Gel French Manicure by Ann was perfect with finishing touches of glitz and glam. I went here because they offered the glitter acrylic tips. I haven't had acrylic nails for years and wanted to give them a try. My new nails came out just the way I wanted them and the woman was very gentle and attentive. She also did a very good job of filing them down and making sure they were the exact length I wanted. I also had a pedicure and thought that was good too. Nothing exceptional but I did love the "longer-than-usual" foot and leg massage. The only reason why I didn't give them all 5 stars: Jennifer did the eyebrow waxing in the main salon area! I saw 3 women getting their nails done and simultaneously leaning back in the chair while Jennifer did the waxing. It did not look right and I don't think I would be comfortable having that done that way. I am definitely coming back and will write an update. read more

Pro-Nails.... what can I say? I have been going to this nail place for about 6 or seven years now. I've tried to go to other nail salons that were more convenient for me because of where I have lived over that past couple years but it never fails, I end up right here in the heart of Pacifica in Jenny's hands and her fantastic team. Jenny always remembers me and my sister by name and what services we are getting when we walk in the door. My sister Shelly and I always bring a friend along to see what amazing-ness this place is. Jenny never fails to shine. She remembers their name and service also and treats them as if THEY were regulars. Even when me and shell were living in Hercules we would always make our way to relaxation here through rain, shine, and even fog. And the quality of their products are GREAT!!!! I get the pink and whites with gel... they NEVER break, lift, or chip.. when i go to get a fill my nails look the same as when I first initially got them done with the exception of the length. Their signature pedicures are SO AMAZING! I love the scrubs and massage. I've gotten my friends hooked on them! This is my only quiet time away from my 3 kids and I couldn't be spending it any better! My only issue with the salon is that they overbook. The last few times I came here I had to wait 30 minutes sitting with my feet soaking. By the time they got to me my feet were pruning and the water was cold! Not good. I have been going to Pro Nails for over two months for acrylic nails and a pedicure, but will no longer go there. The acrylics themselves looked good, but I would leave there with either the french tip not being removed (so you saw the white under a darker color) or I would leave with nicks on my skin from the tools they used. The final straw came when I called to have my acrylics removed. Jennifer was able to get me in right away, but once I got there the service was rushed. Knowing I was going to have the acrylics removed (a timely process), Jennifer rushed to get all the layers off and buff out my nails. They look horrible! You can see where some layers are still on the nail and the cuticles were not properly done. I was really disappointed as I thought I had found my go-to nail salon. read more

She said had had another appt booked in 15 min, but if I came after that appt, she would fit me in and stay late. They normally close at 7pm. She stayed past 7 to finish. SOO accommodating! Love this place my mom and I have been coming for years. They are like family! Jennifer and Ana are who usually do my nails and toes, although everyone there is great. I have never had a bad experience there and they always make sure you are happy with everything before you leave. I enjoy going and talking and catching up with the girls. Iv come here twice with my client. She loves this place but it's because she's never been to a real, certified and LICENSED nail salon. The first time I came, the owner did my nails but refused to cut my cuticles, or do any hand massage Etc. The set last well but the customer service Was crap. I came here today and received a full set.the owner charged me 3$ extra for coffin shape, and when I asked again about cuttiing my cuticles and hand massage she juSt ignored me. After putting the pretty gel on my nails she then filed on top of it! Taking off the gel!!!!!!! I asked her co worker to please fix where she had filed the paint off, and agreed to do so. She also then charged me 15$ MORE for the "manicure" ... which was to cut my cuticles and give me a 2 second oil massage. This place really is shitt!! They are taking advantage of clients whom are a older crowd and don't know what a good nail artist is!! Not too mention they are supposed to have there licenses from the board of cosmetology in VISIBLE SIGHT. All the licenses are behind the desk and all are expired from 2011!!!!!!! This place is the best in the Bay Area for gels/acrylics. Jenny is really nice and remembers all her customers' names. Jenny's mom also gives great pedicures and is talented with nail design. They have a great selection of gel powder that comes in pretty much every color one could want. I usually get the pink and white which always looks bomb :) The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is because it's a little on the small side and sometimes when they get really busy it gets cramped. I was welcomed for an appointment with a smile and a prompt appointment time. I arrived on time and was sat in the chair within a few minutes. I'm accustomed to Korean style mails, meticulous work, and lengthy salon time, which this place does not offer. I opted for UV gel extensions and was in and out at 1:03pm less than an hour from my appointment time. Super fast but mistakes on fingers, bumps under last gel topcoat and uneven oval nail shape. I love this place! My sister used to go here when she lived in Pacifica, and now that she's back in the Bay she decided we should go here to Pro Nails to get our mani/pedi. I have to say they were really nice, and the place was very clean. The pedi with the massage is TO DIE FOR. I had my nails done on a Saturday and that following Monday my nail broke off, I went back to have it fixed and the owner fixed it right away, for free! The women there are very nice, but one of my gel toe nail polishes fell off within 5 days and I spent nearly 70 dollars for a mani pedi. The friend that joined me had the same problem with one of her fingernails and had to redo all her nails herself. I was also disappointed by the foot massage I was given. Considering I was having my fingers done at the same time as my feet I understand that a lot of movement by my feet could've caused a mistake on my fingernails but I also had to wait about 20 minutes before my friends nails were done and we came at the same time. So I figured I could've been getting a better foot massage during that 20 minutes rather than getting both done at the same time. I could be over reacting right now but I thought I'd leave this review to share my experience. read more
