When the car was towed into the shop the customer service I received was excellent. The Shop worker called me to inquire about the car and also gave me a deadline of when i would be hearing from them. The Associate was spot on about when i would hear from them as they called at the exact time and day they said they would and it was only a day wait since my vehicle went in on a Saturday and was towed in so there was a wait ahead of me already. All Code Readouts and issues were reported to me in a timely manner What Didn't Sit Well With Me: Upon Calling me the Office worker informed me the repairs would take roughly $4,500 to fix stating my car is in dire need of: Mass Airflow Sensor Transmission Obviously this is a lot of money however IF THIS WERE TRUE I WOULD HAVE HAD NO ISSUE PAYING FOR IT as the price wouldn't bother me to have my vehicle running like it should. After deciding to get a second opinion, I was told that the Sensor WOULD GREATLY IMPACT MY TRANSMISSION and its ability to shift correctly. a slip in the transmission would and could be dependent on that sensor. So, I started with process of elimination based on the codes i was given by the shop. I replaced the Mass Airflow Sensor ( $30 Part off Amazon) The car immediately sounded like it was supposed to and wasn't panting for air to stay in idle. The acceleration was back o 100% and felt no slipping of transmission at all. My problem with this is I was told I DEFINITIVELY needed a transmission and that fixing the MAF Sensor wouldn't attribute to the transmission acting the way it does. I recommend getting another opinion if you take your car here as i saved $4470 by getting one myself.... Not that this place was wrong on what was going on but I felt I was being sold a transmission when it is not needed. In todays times and financial needs that's bad business in my mind.

I tried to call all of the well known tire places, and they were all closed and probably a good 30 minutes away. I found a tow company with a flat bed that could load us, and they suggested we go to Taylor Tire, which we did not even know was just 0.5 miles away!!! We abandoned our trailer in their parking lot with a note to call us in the morning and that we needed a new tire. I saw that they opened early, so I planned to arrive in the morning when they opened to see if they could even help us. When i arrived, the owner was putting the trailer back in the parking spot, he had completed the work himself before they even opened!!
