I asked the owner of Appliance Clinic LA whether it was less expensive to fix rather than buy a new one and he said it's easier to fix. They sent a technician who said that he couldn't find anything wrong with the washer--he said that the tenant didn't know how to use the washer. In addition, he was extremely rude and condescending to my tenant. The tenant has been living there for years and never had an issue with the washer until this past April. She knows how to use the washing machine. They said that the hose assembly on the washer needed to be fixed and the exhaust assembly needed to be repaired. They were giving me the "discount price" as it states on receipt. Receipt attached. Total cost was $459. I paid them in full. I had them make the necessary repairs and the washer was still not working. I asked the owner to have Mike, the technician, come back to look at it. Begrudgingly he sent Mike back. Mike still said it was the tenant. The owner agreed. At this point, I was spending hundreds of extra dollars over four months in water bills because my tenant had to run the washer multiple times to get her clothes washed. I called another company Vincent Appliances *888-503-5725. They were much more knowledgeable. They advised me to buy a new washer because it would be cheaper. They did not try to scam me. I went online and saw that a quality, inexpensive washer was around $700 PLUS $500 rebate from LADWP. This whole time I could have gotten a new washer for $200 and been done with this. Not to mention that Appliance Clinic charged me hundreds to dollars to change washer hose assembly and it was only $39 at Best Buy with FREE installation. Wow I really got taken by this appliance company. If you notice, their receipt doesn't even state their correct company name--huge red flag. They probably keep changing their company name to avoid litigation. IF YOU ARE HAVING ISSUES WITH YOUR WASHER, CHECK REBATES FROM YOUR WATER COMPANY. THEY MAY BE GIVING A LARGE REBATE. THIS COMPANY SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT AND NOT TOLD ME IT WOULD BE CHEAPER TO FIX. I asked for my money back and of course Appliance Clinic told me to stop calling them. Strangely they have two Yelp accounts. The other one has horrible reviews as well.

The technician, Mark, started making excuses almost immediately after entering our home. His attitude was rude, confrontational, and completely unprofessional. It honestly felt like he walked in already irritated about something unrelated to us and decided to take that frustration out on the customer instead of simply doing the job he was sent there to do. From the very beginning, he seemed more interested in finding reasons NOT to do the installation than actually getting it done. He kept bringing up supposed issues, making excuses, and asking for additional charges to complete the work. Instead of trying to find a solution, he made everything unnecessarily difficult and eventually left the installation unfinished over what turned out to be a completely unnecessary issue. What makes this even more ridiculous is that another installer later came and completed the exact same installation in about 15 minutes with absolutely no problem. That pretty much says everything. I genuinely don't understand why a reputable company like Best Buy would choose a contractor like this to represent them. Even more concerning is why this company would send someone with Mark's attitude and level of professionalism into customers' homes. I tried repeatedly to stay polite, friendly, and cooperative because I just wanted the installation completed, but it made absolutely no difference. I've rarely dealt with someone so unwilling to help while supposedly being there to provide a service. This was easily one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. The actual dishwasher installation turned out to be simple and took someone else only 15 minutes. The only difficult part of the entire process was dealing with Mark. Extremely disappointing, unnecessarily stressful, and completely unacceptable customer service. I would absolutely not recommend this company based on my experience.
