Appointment made through Ricky who also gave me a quote after I submitted a photo. Technician Andre fixed the curb rash on my Tesla Black Rim. Unbelievable awesome job. I was worried that it would look like a "patch job". After he was done I couldn't even tell where the curb rash was on the rim. He only repaired and painted the affected area. This was a flat rate and despite the dent being less obtrusive over time he really did an excellent job. He showed up with his van, brought out an array of tools and got to work. He was training another person and I wish I could have understood what they were saying as they were speaking in Portuguese. My car door was slammed into while parked in a parking lot. They of course didn't leave a note, but there was a huge gouge and a small dent in the door. One word AMAZING! I curbed our rim on our sequoia and anyone who knows, it's a bummer feeling. I asked my friends if they knew anyone and none of them did. So I looked on Yelp and found Prodent. I did a request for a quote and Thiago, the owner answered in a timely manner. I got other quotes as well, but the amount of reviews on Yelp I had to go with them, as they seemed to have the most experience. Scheduling was a little difficult because of my work schedule, but eventually we were able to set a date. Today was the day, and Thiago texted me that his partner Giancarlo would be coming between 9a-12p. Giancarlo texted me around 945 that he was in his way. He got here around 10a, took a look and said it should take him between an hour to 2 hours. Giancarlo also informed me that black takes a little more time and can be harder. He just needed an accessible outlet and room to work with. I left him be and one hour and a half later he let me know he was done. When i went to take a look at the damaged rim, I couldn't believe my eyes. I literally couldn't tell there was any damage. I was blown away. It was beyond my expectations. Giancarlo was VERY friendly, Courteous, & Humble. He was also clean and organized, ensuring nothing was left dirty. He also informed me that they do a lot of referrals from MJ Motorsport. Not very good for customer service. Just trying to schedule an appt is ridiculous. What kind of customer service is that? You have to give us a 3 hour window, a technician will call you and tell you when you can come and meet him? Like they can't make an appt time especially since I asked for the first appt of the day? Then they said when we call you gotta come and pick it up. They need shade, but I don't have shade where I'm at, so I offer to bring it to them, but I can't just bring to them cuz no one at their shop. Like I'm their bekon call person. And then if they don't call you till the 3rd hour, then now you've been sitting doing nothing for 2 hours nearby where ever they are at, and now it will take even longer cuz they still gotta fix your vehicle. Sorry but I don't do business like that. I don't know many people who do, except perhaps the "cable guy" and we all know how that usually goes. read more

So the story goes.... After dealing with the Body Shop that the dealership recommended for Paintless dent repair and a scuff on my rim it was a total fail. I purchased extra insurance coverage for PDR and Rim repair when I bought my Audi new. I wasted two weeks calling the insurance company and the body shop to make sure they put the claim in. Finally after two weeks they put in the claim only to get rejected because their estimate was way too high. That's when I emailed Prodent with the pictures of the door ding area's and the rim scuff. Thiago called me back the same day and said it would be a problem because he deals with that insurance company. I sent him the rest of the information, Vin # and other information from the contract the next morning. Well to my surprise he called me several hours later to say the job was approved and when would I like to schedule the appointment. Prodent Hawaii is mobile so they can do the job just about anywhere, but you do need an electrical outlet for his equipment if your doing a rim. Thiago did an excellent job getting out the door dings with his assortment of rods, quick and efficient. I was very pleased with the work he did and also the other worker who did my rim. My recommendation would be use them for your PDR and Rim repair, especially if you purchased extra insurance from the dealership.
