We had an issue with our kitchen sink not draining so I gave Prodigy a call to see if they could come check it out. Luckily they had availability for Saturday (the next day) and I scheduled the appointment. Manny (great guy BTW - very friendly and professional) came to the house and ran the 25 foot snake. Unfortunately it didn't resolve the issue and he said he would have to schedule another appointment for Monday when he could bring a longer snake. This wasn't ideal because it was Super Bowl weekend so we were without a kitchen sink for the weekend. I accepted the fact that I would be washing dishes in the sink for a couple days, no big deal. Later on Saturday evening I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from Manny to let me know that he was able to get the longer snake from their shop and wanted to know if he could come back out that night to try to fix the issue. Amazing! Of course I told him yes and scheduled time for the evening. Unfortunately the issue still couldn't be fixed by the snake due to years of buildup in the drain. We discussed options for how the drain could be cleaned out and I figured we would schedule an appointment for Monday. Again, to my surprise, Manny let me know that he talked to his boss and asked if they could come out on Sunday morning to run the high pressure water flow to clean out the drain. As promised, Mark (the owner) and Manny came out on Sunday morning to talk about options. I was amazed at the customer service they were providing to me. I actually felt a little guilty they were there on Sunday but I really appreciated their service. They discussed the situation with me and they were able to resolve the issue within about an hour or two. This type of service is unheard of these days and it is very appreciated. I've had a hot water problem at one of my rentals for a while now. I paid another company thousands over three visits. I decided I needed to find a different company to solve my problem. Someone referred me to Prodigy Plumbing. I looked them up on Yelp and I was impressed. I've never seen so many positive reviews (at the time of this writing 883 5 out of 5 stars). I called to make an appointment and the lady told me they didn't service my area. I basically begged her. She said they were short staffed because of Covid-19 but she'd ask if they could service me. To my utter happiness they said they would! Ozzy came out to look at the problem and was very thorough. Since I wasn't there for the free inspection, he sent me pictures, estimates and called me to tell me what needed to be done. I called him six times that evening just to make sure I completely understood what he wanted to do, why and ask other questions. He was great. We got a clogged kitchen and bathroom, we have very old drain pipes in the Kitchen and bathroom. We've been dodging this problem for years, and now, I can't avoid it anymore, it's overwhelming. I enjoyed their responsiveness and professionalism that when this occurred they were my first and only one to reach out to. I have no regrets with that decision. Pedro came out to do an estimate, recommend us a restoration company, and stayed in communication with us to be able to make the repair. He gave us a quote of the repair and also pointed out other problem areas. He did not push for the additional work only what was necessary. I am not one to shy away from getting my hands dirty but I reviewed the pics and gave him the green light to do the addition repairs. Would I use Prodigy again and recommend their services? It's been a year since Prodigy did my plumbing and its still working perfectly. I had to call them in for other services (bathrooms were backing up, unrelated to the first job they did for me) and, as always, Matt and his team came to the rescue. The only "bump" I had was when I did not request for Matt. The tech that inspected and gave quote didnt give me options and my wife and I felt pressured to make a decision (I was at work, I couldn't make a decision right away, I asked if I can let him know no later than 2 days, tech became pushy). I watched the whole procedure on the monitor and what I was seeing was explained in detail. I called Prodigy to look at my hot water heater and have it replaced with a tankless water heater in April 2021. I was told by Alexis that it would be no problem. He recommended a great tankless unit that would work well. I also would be able to get a $1300.00 rebate when all was done. I was quoted a bit over $5000 to get this all done including piping in a 3/4 " gas supply line that would be needed. On the day of installation 2 plumbers showed up and 1 surveyed the job and he called in to the supply warehouse and had a different tankless heater changed to a smaller unit. They picked it up brought it to my house and they installed it. Due to the smaller unit the 3/4 inch gas line was not required. All of this took place without my permission. The heater installed was totally inadequate and some of my fixtures would not work due to low hot water flow. All of this bait and switch stuff did not reduce my $5000 quote at all. After this fiasco I made them get and install the original heater that was supposed to be installed and made them do the 3/4 inch gas line that was not done either. Well the $1500 rebate was rejected because Prodigy Plumbing did not have the model number of the water heater on their receipt. Please I would not ever recommend this outfit to anyone for anything. They put us through a terrible ordeal that created a lot of undue stress. This was so terrible for these people to come and do what they did to a couple of senior citizens a disabled veteran. read more

I had the worst experience a homeowner wants to have, my main backing up into my tub, gross! I asked some Friends for a referral and they referred me to Prodigy Plumbing. From the very beginning of calling in my problem they were courteous and helpful. I couldn't get an appointment until the next day, but when the technician Manny came out he went straight to work. He was kind and explained everything that he was going to do. He took his time to explain the pricing and all the work that was going to take place. As it turns out, my issue was much bigger than I anticipated, so Manny called to have my main jetted. Here comes in Jerry, the senior technician. He was extremely informative and explained step by step what was happening and what to expect. I was also able to witness him mentoring and teaching his crew. The outcome was not what I would have wanted (but who really wants to have to replace pipes) but I know that it will be done in a professional manner by experts. I had other major plumbing companies come to clean out of sink drain which always seems to clog around Thanksgiving. They could not clear the blockage and tried to upsell me with expensive suggestions. Someone told me to try Prodigy since they are a small local company with great customer service and they have proper equipment to handle almost anything. I decided to try Prodigy and was blown away. They are ALL ABOUT customer service. Joseph personally helped me after a day of calamitous plumbing issues occurred, one after the other (not a good day!). His techs Chris and Steven came over several times in one day to help. They got the drain cleared (temporarily for Thanksgiving) but told me about an issue with grease in the line that would return and advised about a permanent fix at a VERY reasonable price.
