Phil and Art were awesome they did a great job they were able to change all the plumbing over and install the new vanity in the same day. prodigy even had someone come out and patch the wall after the work was done which is very rare. I've used Prodigy Plumbing a few times with great results so I didn't hesitate to call them when I needed to have old, corroded sink fixtures and valves replaced. Carlitos showed up on time with a professional appearance and a friendly smile. He was courteous, responsive to my questions and was always respectful of my home. He completed the work to my great satisfaction and he left my home looking better than he found it. Carlitos also alerted me that my home water pressure was borderline high and explained what that could mean in the future. He never tried to sell me anything and seemed completely genuine. My furnace went out during a cold spell. I called Prodigy cause they had done a great report job in the past. Dino came out and gave an estimate the very next day. He was very knowledgeable and honest. He recommended a new furnace at a fair price. Dino helped to provide a great install. The furnace had a manufacturing defect and did not work. Dino went on and beyond the call of duty to provide a brand new replacement furnace immediately, even though it was Saturday. He stayed till he made sure everything was satisfactory and working. I was extremely impressed on how hard he worked to make sure the heat was working. Especially caring since my 85 year mom lives here and gets cold easily. Had a pretty nasty toilet clog. Requested prodigy come out to clear the clog and reset the toilet. Prodigy was able to come out the next day and spent half the day trying to snake the line from everywhere but could not clear the clog. Ended up just setting the toilet, charged me $200, and gave me a work estimate of 2K to redirect the pipes. He worked hard and was a nice guy but he couldn't get the job done. Called a different plumber (Pete's Plumbing in signal hill). They had to remove the toilet so there went my $200 but they cleared the clog in an hour, then they reset the toilet. Total came out to $120. Wouldn't go with Prodigy again. read more

Needed a plumber to install a sink and safety shower in a new business. I got a few quotes from a few local plumbers with good ratings on Yelp. Prodigy responded fast, got a team out to take a look at job requirements, and got me a quote fast. A couple other companies also visited and summited quotes. Prodigy had the best cost quote, was well detailed, and even gave a second option in case they found something else after cutting the floor or wall. I chose them based on quoted cost, professionalism, and confidence I had after meeting a couple of the people. Eliza and Justin were excellent on the phone scheduling appointments and keeping me updated on arrival day/times and expected completion day/time. Detailed, professional, and friendly. Alexis, Juan, Edgar, and Josh did a fantastic job with all the plumbing work and were good people to spend a couple days in the office with. They kept me informed about what they were doing at all times and were always very courteous and professional. I'm not one to post reviews....but in this case I felt it was necessary.... we recently purchased a new home and we went through all of the typical protocols of the home inspection... the home was a "flip" ...which aesthetically the seller did a good job ... so while in the midst of the home inspection the home inspection team/contractor stated that the house was in over all good conditions ... the air conditioning and furnace units are new the plumbing (copper and abs) was in great shape... so we asked the team to run their plumbing camera , but they stated that their camera was not working... so as two soon to be owner's (my wife and myself) asked the team what they thought of the existing plumbing... they said that everything is brand new and looks to have been properly installed you shouldn't have any problems... with my wife being a nurse and myself an electrical worker for a local utility company... were both extremely busy !!! They mentioned that they can have the camera repaired later that week , but for my wife and myself to get time off throughout the day during the week is almost impossible...so needless to say we took the home inspectors word ... fast forward... we bought the house and on our 2nd day there ... one of the toilets backed up into the bathtub and of course this happened at night ... I had to work the next day but wife had the next day off .... she called our realtor and he said sorry it's your house now ... our home Insurance was still in the process of transferring from our old home to our new home , so in essence we didn't have home Insurance until the Insurance company recieved payment from escrow... we were in limbo.... so someone recommended a plumbing company which I will not mention their name... they came out and temporarily remedied the problem by hydro-jetting the clogged plumbing line.. they started by quoting us $900 to hydro-jet and dropped there price to $450 and yes we paid !!! They said that we need to trench to expose the corroded iron city coupler ... they offered to do it ... they also said you can have anyone do it ...its mainly digging to expose the corroded pipe.. they made it seem like they were not too interested in performing the work ... there assessment of the work that needed to be done was extremely vague with only solution... fast forward 3 more days.. now our downstairs bedroom had water coming in through the walls !!! Turned out that the other bathrooms abs waste plumbing was never properly installed by the previous owner!!! And all of the waste waste/dirty water was accumulating under the restroom and finally soaked through the downstairs bedroom walls (3 walls) completely ruining the walls and new wood flooring and furniture !!!! we asked our family and friends about which plumbing company to call... one of my friends recommended "Prodigy" so we got in contact with one of there plumbers.... he came over and he asked what the problems and issues were... and of course he was wearing all of his covid-19 ppe ... with covers over his boots ... he preceded to inspect our homes plumbing issues.... upon completion he gave us multiple solutions .. He even commented about how the previous plumbing company tried to seriously over charge us to hydro-jet ... he provided 4 solutions , all emailed with pictures to explain what he was making reference too ... so now that were somewhat settled and our home Insurance is squared away... I'm able to provide my new Insurance company with critical information about our existing plumbing issues which hopefully they will cover. .. the plumber's name is Luis .... he was ten times more professional and was able to diagnose the the plumbing issues and offer amazing resolutions... the mode of communication was impressive !!! He wasn't overbearing like most contractors trying to push a sale .... he was genuinely concerned with our frustrations and the lack of confidence that we had with the prior plumbing company's assessment... I want to say Luis did a fantastic job and give credit where credit is due !!!! If you're looking for an experienced plumber/company with a no nonsense and professional approach please give Luis and prodigy a chance ...... read more

He was unable to find a leak and advised us to monitor the area where we see remnants of a water leak outside by our drain. Was looking for a general plumbing inspection for a house in escrow after it was recommended by the home inspector. Prodigy was the first company I came across, and they didn't disappoint. I'll tell you this- Luis is the man! As a first time home buyer and with plumbing not quite being my area of expertise, Luis clearly explained all his findings and gave recommendations based on different options. I had them come out for an estimate for my storm drains backing up. they were the third plumbing company that i contacted. Alexis was the plumber who came out. just as i thought, the underground pipe would need to be fixed and concrete broken up. alexis was very professional and understanding. Our kitchen sink was backing up. I called prodigy plumbing and was able to get a same day inspection. They sent out Manny with in couple hours. Manny gave me a recommendation to start with a camera and jetting my pipes. He knows what's best and I trusted his recommendation so went with it. I have a busy work schedule and Manny took time to get more information to get me in the same day. They sent Jerry with Manny with in hours to scan my pipes and jet my pipes. Alexis came out, resolved the issue and did a complete inspection and assessment of the plumbing of this 60+ year old house. He itemized what was good, what needed attention, and what was critical.
