The only reason I'm giving a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because of the price. They started really high and even after they lowered it I still feel it was a bit high compare to an independent license plumber or another company if I would have shop around. Beside the price, the work performed and explanation that was given to me to let me know what was going to be done and what issues they ran into was amazing. Our water heater decided to crack and start leaking on Sunday morning. Steve was able to get out to our house Sunday afternoon and assessed the situation. He walked me through options, but in the end I needed a new water heater. Steve made sure I got an appointment for the next day to get it installed. Jerry and Steve arrived the next day to replace the water heater. It ended being a little more complicated than a normal replacement, but the two figured it out and even had a third guy come to deliver some extra material. My first call was back in February 2021. I was hesitant because of Covid. But Jerry and his partner came in with a mask and shoe covers ready to go which put me right at ease. He took care of slow drain I was having with the tub and removed the blockage. He also fixed additional work that wasn't scheduled which was a leak in my sink. All of this within 45 mins. The other tangibles I really liked are: -paperless transaction - images of before and after - receipts via email and I paid directly on their mobil device. So fast forward to September 22. The wifey mentions that our tub is slowly draining again. So without hesitation I searched the invoice via email. Called Prodigy and was able to Schedule a visit in two days So lucky me Jerry returns and we were able to reconnect from the past visit. He checked out the drain and determined that it was superficial and without hesitation he took care of the issue not one but both of our tubs was cleaned out without charge. We had our main sewage line from under the house to about the front of the house back up in us. We called Prodigy Plumbing and they were out within hours. Marvil shoes up and have us multiple options to remedy the problem. They fixed it that day. While they were there I asked Marvil for a quote on replumbing our house and to add a tankless. He sent a quote over the next day. For a great price we had a tankless installed, total replumb in pex and all patch work. We are super happy with our result and also got the added bonus of a membership with prodigy. 100% recommend calling them when you have an emergency or even general plumbing. The company manager and owner were extremely pleasant and great to work with when we called them on an emergency situation (pipe burst). It's the service men that were assigned to our home that I wish were a bit more consistent, honest, and accountable. They'd say one thing, but the notes weren't reflective of the actual work/service provided. None the less, I would and will use them again because I trust that the company stands by their brand. We've used Prodigy Plumbing for various projects and issues in the past and they've always done a great job. They not only know what they're doing, but they have GREAT customer service, which goes a long way with us. Their office staff and plumbers are all so friendly and personable. This was the second time I've called on Prodigy Plumbing for a job. This time I needed a kitchen sink drain unclogged and an installation of a new sink, garbage disposal and all new pumping under the sink. Shaun was sent out and did the work and was faced with a very stubborn sink removal. Seems the original installation was done with the intention of never removing the old sink. It was in there. However, Shaun finally got it removed, installed everything and unclogged the drain. I'll tell you it was not an easy job but Shaun did an excellent job and got it done. Our utility sink got clogged, so we called our usual plumbing company in order to snake the line, but, after 1 hr, they weren't able to get through. Thought we would have to proceed with construction on the utility sink, but Ozzy from Prodigy Plumbing was able to snake the line for us, which buys my partner and I more time to save up for the construction! Ozzy was very professional, very communicative, and very upfront about costs and the various options that we have avaiable to fixing the utility sink.
