He explained the process to me. He brought extra foam to seal the skylight. The install only took about 30 mins, and then he walked me around my roof afterward to show me other areas that might be problematic and told me how I could fix it all myself without trying to upsell or seek any additional business.

One of the first things I asked about was the underlayment they planned to use. A lot of roofers will go with basic felt or cut corners, but these guys installed a double layer of Titanium UDL 50 synthetic underlayment, which was exactly the level of protection I was hoping for. The owner (Leo) has 35 years of roofing experience, and you can tell immediately when you talk to him. He recently started this new company, but the professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding. A few things that really stood out: * They coordinated everything directly with my tenant so I didn't have to manage the logistics. * Once we signed the contract, the repair was scheduled and completed within just a few days, which was impressive. * Communication throughout the day was excellent -- both the owner and the project manager kept me updated on progress and sent photos of the work. * They handled everything included in the quoted price -- tile repairs, replacing damaged plywood, installing the new underlayment, and even cleaning out all the gutters before they finished. They also included some preventive maintenance, sealing all weak points of the roof; vents, chimney, to try to prolong the life of the roof as much as possible, which I originally thought was bull, but they actually did that, repairing a couple extra locations (see photos) which were not leaking yet but needed some love. The crew clearly knew what they were doing, and the final result looks fantastic. The job site was clean, the roof looks great, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. I saw that he read my text message but he did not reply back. The next day I texted him again that I will be informing his office of my interaction with him. He texted back right away that he is out of town for training and he apologized for the late response.
