Hired them to fix a leak on the roof. Replaced some plywood and shingles around AC unit. The first rain caused the same leak (ceiling in my house getting wet). Sent a guy out to inspect. He walked around on the roof without really doing any work. Said water most likely coming in from the bottom of a vent pipe. Applied sealant. The very next rain caused the same leak which is about 10 feet from AC shingles. They are not interested in finding the real problem. They got their money and they are doing a dance around actually fixing the problem. I'm going to call another company and have to pay again. I do not recommend this company at all. Bought a house that they installed a roof on 7 years ago, and prior to solar install they did a courtesy check, so I had them take a look at another small storage structure that needed reroofing. An estimate was given, seemed reasonable (a little high, maybe) that went up when they discovered rot on the plywood underneath. Overall communication was good, the job adequate.... but at the end despite the 'pro' assessing the job, the workers pointed out that the beams in the structure were rotting and in clear need of additional support and work. That the company's 'expert' they sent out failed to point this out so it could be included in the job was disappointing to say the least. I'll be hiring someone else from now on, both to finish this job and future roofing work. read more

Believe the old 1-star reviews! My home has pitched, tile roofs and a large, flat, foam roof. I hired PRS to add a little foam to an area with ponding and to fully recoat my flat, foam roof in Jan of 2022. My roof was partially recoated by the seller just 2 years ago (I bought my home in 2020) and had no issues, but PRS showed me photos of issues that no other company I got bids from had mentioned. That should have been a red flag. However, PRS was priced in the middle and Phil Shaw seemed thorough and not salesman-like, so I decided to redo the roof through them for peace of mind. Phil told me it would be a 4-5 hour job and I got more details on what the 10-year warranty covers in writing via e-mail, so I felt confident about using PRS. Flash foward 10 months since the roof was done and I've had two leaks already. My previous roof never leaked once and I should have just hired the cheap company who could only do a recoat. To add insult to injury, PRS does not honor their warranty and only made repairs this month to what you see in the photos "as a courtesy." They also missed an area of elastomeric coating in January and won't come back to fix it (see photo). This is all a result of their crew, who rushed the job and were only on my roof from 12pm-2pm on a Saturday. Yes, they spent only 2 hours doing a roughly 1,400 sqft flat, foam roof, and when I let the office know the next business day, they said their guys couldn't do a roof in 2 hours. Correct, they couldn't, and that's why I have a cracked blister which leaked into my home, multiple cracks all over the roof that weren't there before I hired them, and a missing spot of elastomeric coating. I never even got after pics of the work as promised. That's not the end of it, though. The crew didn't prep anything, so while they were on my roof, they oversprayed foam all over my atrium's window frames, windows, screens, and overhead wooden beams. I spent 2 days hand-scraping hundreds of hard, foam dots off my windows, but the damage to my window frames is permanent and they're now covered with mustard-yellow spots. I was able to get some employees out a couple weeks later to redo my screens and paint my wood beams, but they still didn't get all the spots so I had to repaint everything myself. The crew also got the elastomeric coating all over my fascia boards around my home, and it was literally dripping onto my patio. I got them to repaint all that, as well, but had the crew prepped the roof and taken their time like professional roofers, that wouldn't have happened. After talking with the co-owner, Tammie, about all this and hearing lots of excuses, she finally said we'd just settle with the deposit paid (50%), but I told her I had no faith in the roof. Sure enough, with the first and second leaks, I was right. After the damage to my home and then seeing the blister and cracks from photos PRS and my insurance adjuster sent just 10 months out, I had to file a complaint with the Nevada Contractors Board this evening due to PRS's shoddy work, overall mess, lack of follow-up, and failure to honor their warranty. I don't think any of the foam roofers are any good in Vegas, but please stay away from PRS unless you want a new roof that looks like mine a few months later. read more

I had a wonderful experience with PRS roofing from start to finish requesting a quote to repair the noted needs in the inspection report through the sales process of the home. The initial email communications with the office were prompt and thorough with scheduling an onsite estimate promptly. Unlike other companies they actually came out to view the roof. When it was in good condition and only needed a couple of tiles adjusted Brandon did it while on the roof as a courtesy and promptly provided a full report, including photos. The entire experience was positive: they were responsive, thorough, and very fair in not charging for unnecessary work. What u guys did today was vandalized our properties and put people in harms way by pushing all the debris from the 2nd floor roof down to our patios down below where we were sitting with our pets. No apologies, no clean up afterwards and were left with an injured cat. I was left to clean up after the mess u guys made. I'm holding your company liable for damages to our property, neglect and bodily harm. And I was still left to clean up after your mess. I never needed a roof before, I called 3 roofing companies each quote was much different in price, I decided to ask our HOA who they use. My HOA said PRS, their quote; & explanation made sence. I decided to go with PRS the final price was exactly what they quoted, there was a backlog due to more rain than usual in Vegas, however PRS came on time, & finshed the roof in the time they said. Recently moved into a mobile home that had a bare metal roof, no coating at all. With all the winds we have had I had to get something done since the rumbling through the house from the wind was unbelievable. So, I had a few roofers come out to give me an estimate, which included Phil from PRS. He fully explained what he thought was the best solution. The quote was not the lowest, but after receiving it I did some research online as well as looked at other homes in the complex. This raised some questions that Phil was able to answer to my satisfaction and I signed. About 2 weeks later the work was started and completed. The workers were very professional. The supervisor told me what was going to be done and very responsive to all my questions. We have seen 3 of our neighbor friends who live nearby utilize PRS Roofing over the years, and their roofs all look great. Jason Mercer came to our home in 2020 and the pandemic stopped plans. He returned 05/22, and soon provided us with a detailed breakdown of the labor, materials, etc. needed to remove 2 layers of shingles and replace with the new roof and two fascia replacements. An unused swamp cooler was also removed. Upon the required down payment to his assistant, Marie, several roof crews arrived one after the next, taking steps over the next days to get the job completed in an orderly manner with each cleaning up as they continued. Because the choices of shingle colors and shades need to be clearly shown, as it is better than looking at an online site, as the shades don't look the same as the actual shingle. Victor brought me shingle choices to view, and Gary Hunter helped to get my actual choice in time. It is important to know your shingle choice as it becomes part of the signed contract. Shout out to Richard Perez who was quick to assist me with questions, etc. during his first day here. There were some periods that the winds became so bad, crews had to stop their work, which was to be expected. read more

We used this company to do a foam flat roof on our patio where we had a leak from a very bad rainstorm that infiltrated into our kitchen. We had several estimates from a repair to "you need a whole new roof" to the tune of $36.000! Phil from PRS determined that the flat roof only was our problem and gave us several options of how to repair the roof. We opted for the foam roof material that basically gave us a new roof. The other companies we had out did not have this option, so we felt very fortunate to have been referred to PRS from a good neighbor. We have had great customer service from Phil and PRS. I wanted to write this review because getting a new roof is expensive and scary! You never know what you are going to get when you hire a company to do such a large job. I could not be more pleased with using PRS for my new roof. They were amazing, very professional every step of the way, and did an excellent job on my roof. My contact person was Tommy Reiner. He was the main reason I felt comfortable going with this company from the start. He came to my house to do a free inspection and quote. He took photos and videos of what was going on with my roof which confirmed what I predicted, that I needed a whole new roof. (My house is 33 years old). I liked that I was able to see the condition of my roof without having to physical climb up there and see if for myself. Once the quote was sent , I started the process with PRS. My situation was a bit complicated because I have solar so I had to work with both Tesla Solar and PRS to get the job coordinated. Both companies were great in accommodating this crazy schedule and we worked it out. Once the work started, of course this was the only week that we had crazy rain AND snow for an entire year! The roof installers worked as long as they could until the rain caused them to stop. They communicated with me that they would be back when the weather was safe to continue. I also received calls directly from PRS to let me know what was going on with the schedule. They kept in touch with me each day so the job could continue around the weather conditions. In the end, my roof was completed in 4 days from start to finish - even with a whole day of snow and rain. Tommy came back to review that the job was complete and done correctly which I was very pleased to see. He also came back after the solar was reinstalled to make sure that the solar people didn't break any of the roof tiles. All was good! PRS gets 5 stars from me and I would highly recommend this company to everyone. The staff was professional, they always did what they said they were going to do. We were told multiple times that they 10 minutes away, 15 minutes away. 4 hours later and no one has shown up. Will never ever use this company again. UPDATED REVIEW Professional Rooming Services was scheduled to come to my house for an estimate due rain damage. I was referred to them by my HOA. I was given an appointment window of 9a - 10a. I believe it was Tammy who gave this estimate. Unfortunately, I did not take down the name of who I spoke to. It could have been Angie. - I called at 1005a and the gentleman who answered the phone put me on hold and stated that they were on their way. - I called at 1035a and was told by the same gentleman that the roofers were at two other units in my complex. He also stated that whomever I spoke to yesterday should not have given me such a small appointment window. - I called at 1105 am, again, answered by the same gentleman, who told me that the roofers were both fixing issues and doing bids. I was not given an ETA. I had moved aside two other appointments this morning for this estimate appointment so I voiced my frustration and gave them until 1230p to arrive. However, I was then told that the roofers were supposed to be back at the office for a funeral that is happening today at 12p and that my call would have to be scheduled for another day. -1230p - I'm at my home and hear something on my roof. I walk out and to my surprise - there is a PRS truck with a ladder on my roof. I walk to the two gentleman and ask what was going on. As I'm part of an HOA, it appeared that they were about to pop by my roof and submit an estimate as they were STILL in the neighborhood without my knowledge as obvi - they had been working/submitting for other bids to the association management company. Luis was polite, professional and apologized that he had not been told that my estimate call was cancelled. He came, took pics of the water damage in my home and went on the roof. - 1p - I left an voicemail message on the answering line requesting a follow up service call. I also wanted the name of that gentleman who was answering the phone and giving me attitude at my third call so I could add to this review. Had I been given a service window of 9a to 12p, I would not have been calling every 30 minutes to see what was going on. I was not given realistic expectations and thus, would not have moved two prior appointments around for this roofing bid appointment where I waited 3.5 hours for a service appointment that took all of 5 minutes! 1/22/2018 - I received a call from Tamara from PRS and direct message via Yelp to address my service call issue. I was surprised with this customer service recovery effort as I honestly didn't expect a response. As all customers want when aggravated - acknowledgement of the issue, an apology for the experience, and a solution for future customers. It was personal (I spoke to the owner) and felt authentic - not just some PR person on Yelp who manages/responds to feedback. As an aside - my association company ended up selecting their bid for all the work in my neighborhood. Supposedly, the work on my unit will be pushed ahead in the schedule of work. Good job PRS! I called PRS three weeks ago to have a problem corrected with my tiles being out of alignment. The following day, the company sent over one of their estimators named Gary to give me a free estimate. I thought Gary was going on the roof to look at the problem to give me an estimate. When he came off the roof after 5 -10 minutes of moving some tiles around, he told me I owed him $150 for a service call. About a week later the owner of the company called me and told me she wanted to reimburse me. True to her word, she had one of her very friendly receptionists, Genet, take care of the refund. Our house is some what in the middle of Las Vegas and Bullhead City. It is a problem trying to get someone to go to our place and get work done. We needed to fix our steel utility structure where we store our boat and the roof needed some work. After a few calls PRS not only was willing to come to our place but also gave us a fair price. Gary who does the estimates gave us an estimate in a timely manner and Valerie scheduled us accommodating every request I made. On the day of the work the crew came but it was too windy to spray the polyurethane so they immediately rescheduled us checking when weather can permit to do the work and also our own schedule. Professional my A**!!! Lazy, rude, no followup - they simply don't care! I have an investment condo by the strip and after some heavy rains, my tenant said there was a giant wet spot on the ceiling. I contacted my HOA and unfortunately this is the company they use. I originally called on Thursday, June 30th. They could not get someone out there until Wednesday, July 6th. A whole week??? Bull! Then when I made the appointment, the girl said the tech would call me 30 minutes before arrival. I was given a window of 8am to 11am. Morning of the 6th, I called the company and made sure someone would call me 30 minutes before arriving. I explained that it was tenant occupied but I wanted to be present when the technician arrived so I could personally receive the diagnosis. The girl assured me he would call. She confirmed the arrival window of 8am to 12pm. I said you originally told me 11am, she tells me "nope, 8am to noon." Whatever. So I drive 40 minutes from my house up in Centennial all the way down near the strip, battling morning rush traffic. I hang out in the area, running errands and grabbing lunch, just waiting.... I get a text from my tenant at 9:30am saying the tech just left. He just took some pics then said he had to talk to his manager and left. WHAT HAPPENED TO MY CALL??? I even called to confirm he'd call. Nope! Didn't even bother. So I call the company back and complain, the girl says she'll have the tech call me when he gets in the office. Guess what? No one ever called! Surprise surprise. So I call again this morning and complain again. They simply give me the cell number of the tech who went to the condo. Basically 'here, you call him and deal with it'. So I call the technician, DJ, and it goes straight to voicemail. I am so frustrated!! Who wants to bet DJ won't call me back either? Not that impressed so far. Estimator came out on 12-19-12 and gave me a work description. Told me to call to set up an appointment to have the work done, but that they wouldnt get to it til after the holidays. And I would need to put half down before they did any work and pay the balance when the job was done. That works. About 2 days later I get a call saying that someone will be at my house to do the work the next day. Um, what about the whole after-the-holidays-half-down-first business? I called and talked to someone who said they wanted to get it done before the 40% chance of rain on Monday. Um, OK. I said I still needed to get another quote or 2 and would call back if I needed them to actually do the work. Today, 1-3-12, my daughter texts me to say that the roofers were there but they didnt know what I wanted them to do. HUH? Dont call me, I will call you. DO NOT use this company in my opinion. Owner thinks he is god and doesnt appreciate costumers. There are other appreciate companies out there, that would very much appreciate costumers. I was trying to get a quote for my residence from this company. I was definitely not happy with the costumer service at all to say the least. Literally unbelievable how rude they were. The pricing i believe is overpriced and i think there def 100% may be more reputable roofing guys out there.
