I have had Proflame on auto refills for a few years. We ran out of propane AGAIN over 2 months ago. We had a leak in our dryer so after getting a new dryer and contacting them 3 days in a row I was told don't call us we'll call you when we can SCHEDULE a day for the hookup (they had removed the regulator due to n the defective dryer but never filled the tank). I went with Tank Farm and had a full tank hooked up and all connections checked in three days. I called Proflame today and they said they would call Wednesday. Don't waste your. Go with anyone else. We've been a customer for about 20 yrs. However, since 2022 we have not rec'd propane twice when requested. Both within a few days of Holidays. I called in my request 8 days in advance. This past Easter 2024 they didn't even call to say they were not coming and when we called them, they would not make a delivery until the following WEEK. I couldn't use the fireplace which we use for supplemental heat in the dining room rather than heat the whole house. My son also used Proflame and never received a delivery or follow up call at all. It took them six months to pick up the tank. They only come to the North Shore once a week. Note: according to their web page they were bought by Ferrellgas in 2021. Just a coincidence? Although it may cost a little more per gallon, Ideal Bottle Gas (5 Star rated) will deliver NS twice a week. read more

Yes, I had to wait for service, but that's the way things are now I have always been treated with courtesy and professionalism. My tank needed to be replaced and when the technicians got here they took care of business. They were skilled craftsmen and very nice. read more

They constantly fail to deliver in a timely matter and I run out of gas at the most inopportune times. This time I called them over 2 weeks ago to tell them I was running low and I also wanted the rust on the tank to be inspected (which I've been complaining about for about a year) for any safety problems. Also, the information above is false. They have no Saturday hours and they do not return calls. Worse than having no gas on a holiday weekend is the smell from the additive that bleeds through when the gas levels are low. It stinks up the whole house and causes headaches. I have been using the company for years, but If they do not immediately correct all of these deficiencies I will be looking for another supplier. read more

I have been using this service for 16 years. I have always paid on time. In fact, last year I paid twice. I had to call them to let them know and request a refund. This year my payment was late. I either mislaid the bill or didn't get it. They charged a late fee. Most companies as a courtesy will waive the first one. Not this company==there is no good will from this company, so I will no longer use their services. Perhaps I should send them a service charge for the time they had my duplicate payment. read more

Please do not use this company. We are customers who use twice as much gas as we are contractually required to use. Someone delivered a small amount of gas ($27.83) to our home while we weren't there. We didn't ask for it. I called the office upon returning home and was told someone would get back to me. This has been going on since July, I call every month when I get the bill to be told someone will get back to me. Noone does. I'm an very disappointed in this company and we will be searching for a new company. The office is far from professional. Let me start from the beginning. My mother in law had an account with this gas company and requested an application to change the account over to me and my husband because she was moving out of state and we are taking over the house. The application never came.. We ran out of gas... The very nice driver came and brought an application, changed out the tank and filled it and I paid that day by debit card. We were happy... Fast forward to the following week... An unauthorized charge on my debit card so I called the office to see why. She was very nasty and told me it looks like because my mother in law had a balance before the switch??? nobody told me that and you can't just charge my card... I never get nasty with people especially on the phone because I was in customer service but I guess she could hear in my voice I was upset and told me to calm down and to give her my mother in laws phone number to ask her to take care of that balance. I was upset because I didn't really have the money for her to charge my account I had two bills that we're going to post and now she screwed up my account. She told me she would refund the amount but now the next day just as I expected my bills went through and now my account is overdrawn and obviously the refund takes time. Then... So unprofessional the lady called my mother in law and told her about her balance and told her that I said she should be responsible for the bill because it was in her name at the time. Regardless, if I said that or not you don't call your customers and say that. Horrible. I've been trying to get a new part for my water heater; the igniter broke. Had the repair guy come and light it with a lighter, he said he will check the price for a new part and call me... I went to take a shower, come to realize the flame he lit with the lighter had gone out again. Had to take an ice cold shower while 9 months pregnant. The repair man came about 4 days ago. Never got a call back from him. I have been calling the office for 4 days now, asking when I can get this new part and all the lady says is "I don't have the paperwork I will call you back." She's been saying this for 4 days! I need hot water!! Dishes are being done in ice cold water and I refuse to take another ice cold shower in the dead of winter! And to add that they've charged $108 to my account for the repair guy to light a flame with a lighter that lasted a whole 5 mins. I could of done that myself, but the instructions strictly says "do not light with a lighter." Seriously ridiculous service. read more

This is the most unprofessional office I have ever came across. I'll first start by saying I never got help from gov benefits before so I was shocked that I was approved from heap heat program because I guess I have a baby but I do work full time. They made me feel like crap but I usually pay cash and they were not that different last time but I gave Ben of doubt and used them for heap to pay. First they told me sat but I never noticed anyone come, we were home. Ok.i apologized (they could've knocked or called,but whatever) and they told me Mon. Mon night I called an hr before closing,I checked on the del time. She was condescending to and said no I have u on tues list. I stated that I was out and had a small baby in the house.she huffed and said I don't know who would tell you that. I have you on the list for tomorrow. I said yes how much am I getting charged (mind you I got propane last month cash and she became very annoyed that I asked her prices then were $0.35 over our area prices so they fixed it after putting me on long holds 5 times)to make every dime count.
