Dmirty was the very nice man who said I needed a new pump for my washing machine. He did not have one in his truck for my particular brand so he left for about 40 minutes and brought one back. He then took apart my entire washing machine, put in the new pump, cleaned it and got it ready to work all in one morning! I called this very good service. I would call them again because he also told us we needed a better plug and what type to buy. He also told us to buy a particular type of washing machine cleaner to keep the mold out of the washing machine. He did not have to do all of that so I feel he went above and beyond his duty. read more

Our 20 year old garage refrigerator stopped cooling. It was full of frozen food I had made for disabled relatives and I needed it fixed as soon as possible. I had a great experience with my washing machine repair and Denis. I sent a request through Yelp on a Saturday and heard back within minutes. Originally scheduled an appointment for early the next week. A couple of hours later I got a call from Dmitry saying there had been a cancellation and Denis could be there that afternoon. Denis quickly discovered the problem, gave me a quote and set up an appointment for early the next week when the part would be in. Denis was on time and texted 20 minutes before his arrival. He was professional, courteous and did a great job. Underneath my washer was filthy (so embarrassing) and Denis cleaned it thoroughly when he moved the machine, which seemed above and beyond to me. The machine had an issue after he left - a different problem related to the first issue that didn't show itself until after he left. Called Progress Appliance Repair because our fridge was not cooling. They came out same day to check our fridge. Technician said the compressor was not turning on due to a bad starter relay/module but also advised us the the condition of the compressor cannot be determined and may not last long. We went with the repair and it was about 400 dollars. Unfortunately the repair only lasted that night. Technician came back out the next day to recheck and said the compressor needed to be replaced. The repair was going to be 1200 dollars and we decided to buy a new fridge. The Technician removed the part he installed and only charged us the initial service charge fee of 69 dollars. Although we didn't do the repair I was very happy with the Technician being upfront about the repair and different possibilities and being honest. read more

Don't look for anyone else. Everything you read from the reviews is true. Dmitry is amazing. I had already read up on average pricing and the particulars of my washer repair. Dmitry was on-point, on-time and more. He showed up to replace the pump. I don't know what else he did but the front load washer works better. It's quieter, not just the pump, and it stays more evenly balanced. The cost of repair was on par with other places. Actually, four dollars less than the average. We had a very good experience with Progress Appliance Repair. They were the first one to respond (even though it was after-hours) when I was researching service vendors to help repair our dishwasher. They were also more reasonably priced than other vendors in our area. Ross was our technician, and he was polite, friendly, and very respectful - he wore shoe covers and also wore a mask when most contractors have given up on masking. These guys are fantastic. Reached out on a Saturday and they showed up in 3.5 hours. Which, on a Saturday is pretty darn good. Spent over 2.5 hours diagnosing, could not fix. Called me on Monday morning telling me how much the part would be and when it would be in. I made the mistake of cancelling the repair thinking I'd be buying a new fridge. Spun my wheels for a whole week and finally decided to go back to the repair idea. Contacted them again on Friday, and Monday morning they called, showed up in less than 2 hours and fixed it.
