So $600 later I went to pick up my truck, I immediately pushed the brake pedal to the floor. I went back in and told him, he said " THERE ISNT ANY CODES, SO WE WOULDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO" SERIOUSLY? $200/hr for parts changers. I had a heated mirror supposedly replaced. I have a $100 deductible, I was told the receipt wasn't ready and it would be mailed. I have never received anything and mirror still doesn't work, but nothing I can do

I test-drove the vehicle, which was great, but the price was not what I expected. I wanted to go home and review everything. The price they quoted me was $43,905--$5,900 more than the original estimate. When I called back and spoke with Cheslee, she claimed prices change overnight, and that was the new price. I added some protection to justify the increase, she said. After I left a review, the manager attempted to call me. I'm unsure if it was posted publicly. I returned his call, but he didn't answer his personal cell phone, so I left a message and haven't received any response from him. It's clear they pressure customers into accepting higher prices or leaving without proper transparency. I am disappointed. Have the email from Kelly saying the start price was 37,999.

8 HOURS ON THE ROAD FOR A $15,000 DISASTER…read more 1 STAR -- because Yelp won't let me give zero. If this dealership's idea of customer service is wasting an entire family's day, misrepresenting a vehicle, and then handing customers the keys and telling them to go find the damn thing themselves, then congratulations--they nailed it. We drove FOUR HOURS EACH WAY specifically to look at a Jeep Renegade we had discussed with "Katie." We were told the Jeep was WHITE. It wasn't white. Not even close. It was a blue-gray color and listed as SILVER. Apparently identifying the color of a vehicle you're trying to sell is too much to ask. But after already driving FOUR HOURS, we decided to at least look at the thing. You'd think knowing customers were traveling that far for a scheduled appointment would motivate somebody to pull the Jeep up front, wash it, inspect it, start it, or at least make sure it wasn't an embarrassment before we arrived. Nope. They handed us a plate and the keys and essentially told us to go find it ourselves. That's the level of customer service we're talking about. As I walked toward the Jeep, I hit the remote start. Immediately, I thought, What the hell is wrong with this engine? It sounded awful. I shut it back off until I could get to the vehicle and pop the hood. On the way there, I started noticing the rest of this $15,000 masterpiece: dings and dents across the rear hatch and along the driver's side. I had my wife start it again while I stood at the open hood. What I saw and heard was enough for me. There was significant visible corrosion/rust in the engine/exhaust area, including around the catalytic converter area, and the mechanical noise was bad enough that I wasn't willing to trust the vehicle enough to even TEST DRIVE IT. Let that sink in. We drove FOUR HOURS to potentially BUY this Jeep, and after seeing and hearing it in person, I wouldn't even take it around the block. They were asking around $15,000 PLUS FEES for it. Based on what I personally saw and heard, I'd have a hard time valuing this particular Renegade at more than about $3,000. And where was "Katie," the person we made the appointment with and expected to meet? Not there. We were looking for her when we arrived because nobody had clearly explained that "Katie" was an internet sales representative who apparently wasn't going to be there for our appointment. So let's add this disaster up: 8 HOURS of driving round trip. Gas burned. An entire day wasted. My wife took time away from a job where she earns approximately $70 an hour. And our 18-year-old daughter, who thought we were making this trip to potentially bring home her Jeep, got to ride four hours home disappointed. All of this could have been prevented by something incredibly complicated called HONESTY AND BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. Tell us the correct color. Tell us the actual cosmetic condition. Have somebody physically look at the vehicle before allowing a family to drive four hours to see it. Start the damn thing and listen to it. And if customers have an appointment after telling you they're traveling FOUR HOURS, maybe have the vehicle READY WHEN THEY ARRIVE instead of tossing them the keys and making them hunt through the lot for it. Used cars aren't perfect. We weren't expecting perfection. We were expecting honesty, preparation, and a basic level of respect for our time. We received none of the above. The condition of the Jeep was bad enough. What really pissed me off was the complete lack of consideration for customers who made an eight-hour round trip based on the information this dealership provided. Had they accurately represented the color, cosmetic condition, and overall condition of this Jeep before we left home, WE WOULD NEVER HAVE MADE THE TRIP. Our experience made us feel like our time, money, and family simply didn't matter to them. If you're considering traveling any significant distance to buy a vehicle here, my advice based on our experience is simple: GET EVERYTHING VERIFIED BEFORE YOU LEAVE YOUR DRIVEWAY. Ask for current photos. Ask for a cold-start video. Ask them to walk around the vehicle on video. And make damn sure the vehicle you're driving hours to see is actually what they told you it was. Because I wouldn't drive four minutes for the experience we got here again--much less four hours. Absolutely unacceptable.
