Service is beyond horrible and attitude atrocious They are trying to be something they certainly are not The manager and staff are millennial combatants who can't take that they are not cut out for anything but fast food It took a half hour for the 1st round of drinks Steak sauce on a chicken sandwich?????? Please go anywhere else Try PJ Finnegans- at least you get more than you pay for and great service ! Or go to the Iron Horse Or go to the Cornerstone Just don't come here

Best fish and chips I have ever had. They have unique, delicious cocktails. Their prices are reasonable and the staff are wonderful.

I guess it's supposed to be a speakeasy. Feels more like a gastropub. The drinks are small and city prices. They have a ton of appetizer options that all sounded good. The pretzel was very very good, huge, and affordable. They had a special of spinach and artichoke dip which was a little watery. Our server was excellent. He's brand new and had just the right amount of checking in, was very accommodating, and had something polite or comical to say about everything.

(Disclaimer: This review is for drinks only) Quite a gem! Prohibition is a beautiful speakeasy/20's style bar-restaurant that backs itself up with quality cocktails. My partner ordered "customized" Manhattan where you can fine tune the sweetness, choose the spirit, and decide how alcohol-forward you want it. It came out AMAZING and spot on. What a great idea. For myself - I tried a few cocktails off the menu and they were all very thoughtfully crafted and delicious. Can't decide? Ask and they will help guide you. I've seen other reviews regarding service missing the mark but I did not experience that. Service was prompt, very friendly, and accommodating.

Try some aperol spritz with those ice cubes!

Stopped in here for happy hour because the place we wanted to go to, the newly opened tavern at the Iron Horse, was swamped, and still has a tiny bar, (although we still are excited to visit soon)! Despite my previous few experiences at prohibition being lackluster, my date and I decided to give it another try because it's got a really nice atmosphere inside and "could" potentially really be a great Gastro pub... But it is still not! The drinks we ordered took excessively long to arrive, and my Aperol spritz consisted mostly of ice cubes... so I paid $14 for what? I'm not sure... an orange slice? Can I please have a little cocktail with that water? A verbal altercation broke out between a patron who wasn't happy with their food/drink and bartender, which was so loud that it completely dominated the entire atmosphere, bringing the vibe down to very stressful rather than the chill happy hour experience we were hoping for. Bartender was extremely aggressive and rather than asking "how can I make it right?", she screamed loudly at him, even yelling, "I don't care how many bad reviews you got to give!" as he exited. She didn't hold back from swearing, even though he had little children with him. I guess the owners of this establishment don't really care about reviews and don't seem to read them or try to improve, as they don't look complementary over the last few years. It's a real shame. Big shout out though to our server, Dana, who kept her head down and kept moving on with a cheerful attitude, and did her very best to serve us and stay positive. She was truly wonderful, and I feel very sorry for all of the staff who have to put up with the BS, which, of course affects their tips. There was nothing she could do about the slow drink service, being that the loud, yappy bartender was too busy engaging in very loud conversation with the barstool people. Dana comped us for the shots we ordered because of the uproar. The negative tone that is unfortunately set by the very subpar forces here really hurt the better part of the staff just trying to do their job and help the patrons have a good time. A real buzzkill. Rated "O" for obnoxious.

My boyfriend and I just moved to Westwood and were exited to try Prohibition. We sat at the outdoor window on the bar stools and really enjoyed our Friday night. They have a big cocktail menu and the inside decor is nice! If you like bourbon definitely try the old fashion (see photo). We also tried the The Well Slapped witch and it was delicious. The Owner Maria was really nice and we look forward to going back!

Tiny $11 shot glass to make your drink actually taste like a cocktail.

It may sound crazy, but I have yet to find a really good pasta spot in NJ. NYC, no problem, but I…read moredon't always want to cross the river. I think I finally found a spot where I can confidently get good pasta AND dessert. My partner and I stopped in this week, and we were immediately met with cool, industrial-style decor and a BOMB playlist. The staff was super friendly and helped a lot with specials and recommendations, as it was our first time. For drinks, we started with a Fig & Melon cocktail and their Old Fashioned. Both were great, but I think the old-fashioned wins over the Fig & Melon. It's smoky and sweet, while the F&M was citrusy and refreshing. To start, we ordered the Mozzarella Sticks Di Bar Mutz with Mutz Hot Honey & Sour Milk. Personally, I am tired of hot honey on everything, haha, so this wasn't for me. If they served it on the side first vs drizzled on top, I probably would have enjoyed it more, as the mozz sticks alone were delicious. The breading was more like a garlic bread than the traditional coating. It also comes with extra hot honey on the side. For our mains, we shared the Spicy Rig and Trottole. Again, both are really good, but the Trottole was the CLEAR winner. The short rib was rich, and the overall dish was perfect for the savory lover like me. The Spicy Rig was lighter, and the bite of pasta with basil was excellent. For dessert, we ordered the mile high espresso martini, affogato martini, which had ice cream they make in-house, and the Samoas cheesecake. Every single thing was delicious! It's a good problem to have when you're dining somewhere, and you're battling it out for who has the best dish. Can't wait to come back and bring friends!

Vibes? Good. Drinks? Ok…read more Food? I mean...I guess? It's different which IS great. Everything is expensive so I get it but it just didn't blow my bra onto the bathroom ceiling. 260 a couple and one wasn't drinking is reasonable If anything was wow...the best bite of the night was the 10.00 fresh table side bite of mozzarella...it's the one thing we've circled back to talking about over the evening. 26 of those bites would have been way cooler and delicious...which is a good idea for next time. Clams, tasty breadcrumbs. Couldn't find a clam...with both hands, it tasted good if not a little dry just didn't really get "clam" Mozzarella sticks....tasty breadcrumbs and hot honey. But no pull. Focaccia? Over well?? Dark on All sides and only ordered bc our entree was "saucy"...plot twist...it was not. Inventive with the sausage chicken cutlet but scarpiello is supposed to be spicy, sharp...this was roasted peppers on a sausage chicken cutlet with not a drop of sauce. (We shared this, decent serving but for the price you couldn't even garnish the plate?) Chicken scarpimellow maybe ? Cocktails? Tiny and just ok, nothing to write home about and a lot of "just bc you can doesn't mean you should" I want a cocktail with alcohol not molecular gastronomy in a shot glass. The espresso martini was very good, I will give them a 9 on that. The staff was the star, friendly attentive but I can't say knowledgeable because the focaccias sole purpose was for sauce that didn't exist and she didn't come back to ask so here we are with focaccia that came out before apps for an entree that didn't need it. The worst element was that at various points the restaurant was filled with an acrid smell of burning plastic or food or something and it was very off putting but it wasn't a delicious scent. Also, for the vibes and the cost the influencer in gym shorts really throws that whole mood yes society is more casual now but gym shorts aren't really appropriate at any restaurant with the same price point. I'd give it another shot in the future maybe just for cocktails and hand fed cheese.

We were greeted right away by the one employee on staff, who was very attentive and pleasant. He was both the waiter and bartender. We ordered the smash burger as an appetizer since it's something I've never seen on a menu as an appetizer before. The smash burger itself was basically a standard double cheeseburger. The patties had a strange texture and didn't have much of a crust. There were also no pickles or house sauce, as the description said there would be. That being said the hand-cut fries that came with it were freshly fried and delicious. For dinner we got the gnocchi in spicy ragu and the pork chop Milanese. The gnocchi was delicious with the sauce but could have been hotter it unfortunately came out lukewarm. The pork chop Milanese was presented beautifully and had good flavor, but it felt like it was missing something (maybe a little more spice or citrus to complement the Asian slaw on top). Overall the service was great, but food was only good and extremly pricey for the portion sizes. I'm hoping the restaurant succeeds, and I'd like to go back and try some different dishes.

There were some people sitting outside for dinner and maybe three other tables inside full so it was not busy if you wanted to walk in for dinner it is possible but we had reservations. The decor aims for high end dining, they have an elegant bar area with some tables if you prefer to eat on that side. The hostess and servers were very attentive. The menu is very limited. They have a bunch of different special martini drinks, and plenty of wine selections, but the food menu is very limited. They have dinner specials to offer. My husband went with the burger, which was a very thick patty served with a brioche bun, cooked perfectly. The fries were just OK. They looked as if they were frozen fries just put in the oven. I went with the cod special over Seasonal corn. The corn was tasteless. The cod was cooked perfectly although it did lack a little bit of flavor and we shared the iceberg salad for an appetizer, which was good, but nothing special. The prices were reasonable we decided to pass up on the dessert and take a walk down the main Avenue in Westwood and find some ice cream . I believe it was the male owner that did stop by after we finish dinner to check on us. He was very pleasant.
