Cool place but drinks were meh and very overpriced for the quality. Food was middle of the road with the "bites", especially the zucchini, being really good. Overall the menu is just a bit odd. I was perhaps expecting too much cocktail wise but overall the flavours and complexity weren't there for me given the price range. Biggest disappointment was how crowded the place was inside. They certainly aren't keeping to the COVID restrictions. All that said if they get the drinks refined a bit more or lower the prices to match the quality this place could be a great spot. The food & service was great until the bill came, my son had ordered a lemonade with his kids meal because the server told him it was included with his meal, when my husband paid the bill he had realized they charged him $4.00 for a kids drink, when we asked the server why we where charged for the drink she said she needed to speak with her manager, the server then came back to the table to inform us that it wasn't included that she'd have to absorb the return of the money! That left a bad taste in my mouth & the manager had hid behind the wall the entire time, we spent $120.00 it wasn't about the money it was about the principal, that they couldn't afford to give a free lemonade, this was my first & last time my family & I will visit this establishment, I will go back to my usual place PJ Finnagins where my business is always welcomed & appreciated! read more

I've been here twice now and have been generally pleased with my experience both times. The cocktails are INCREDIBLE and there really is something for everybody's taste. The food my friends and I got was also good, I'd recommend the spinach dip it was delicious. Our waitress, Jules, was absolutely awesome. I only didn't give 5 stars because it is definitely at a higher price point than other restaurants in the area and while my service was good, my mother had a less pleasing experience with the service just one day after I was there. read more

I dined here last night with my family. We have always passed this place and tonight we finally decided to give it a shot. Upon arriving we were promptly greeted and were asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. I requested inside and was given a very nice table in the corner. When we sat we were served water promptly. My server was a nice young man whom kindly explained our cocktail menu to us and offered us two of his favorite appetizers. We promptly ordered his suggestions of the pretzel and the prohibition bacon that is topped with jam. It was very delicious! For cocktails I ordered the speak easy and my husband got the bathtub gin. Both very good cocktails ! When it came for the dinner selection was consistent with a standard bar. Our two entrees the boot leg burger and the chicken burger were delicious ! They both were delicious and went above and beyond my expectations. The service was always friendly and with a smile. Our server was always prompt! After 25 minutes of sitting at our table, WE had to get up and ask a waiter to come give us water and take our drink order. The food was way overpriced for what seems like glorified bar food, and nothing tasted that great. Something as simple as rice was bad - It was complete mush, the consistency of oatmeal. When dessert came, we no utensils came with it. We tried to flag down a waiter and after 5 minutes once again WE had to get out of our seats to ask a waiter to bring us utensils. Went for a light dinner on a Thursday night about 7:00. Drinks took almost 30 min to get, but they were good. Poor waitress was only one there....and kept apologizing. We only ordered 2 salads that took 45 min to arrive. I had ordered grilled shrimp to add to my fennel/orange salad with avocado , which was very tasty...except that there were 3 small shrimp in it for the extra $9.00!! Ridiculous!! Also one piece of avocado. I said something to the waitress about the lonely 3 shrimp for $9.00 to see if that was a mistake and she let the owner know. No ONE came to our table to speak with us. I should have read reviews before going, maybe it would have saved some time and frustration. First, I went to Prohibition with some colleagues as an after school happy hour spot. We called ahead to just see that they were open and mentioned that we would be up to 20 people in and out. They automatically set up a table for 20, when all we wanted was drinks. When we explained the miscommunication, we got nothing but attitude from both a woman who I think was the bartender that day and from the waiter who was a young, tall male with dark hair. We asked if we could just go into the bar and bring drinks out and they said no. There was NOBODY else there. We then asked for separate checks because we were all coming and going at different times. They weren't happy about it and gave us attitude throughout, but agreed. It took an EXTREMELY long time to get our drinks...again we were the only ones there. When we wanted another round, we had to go inside to find our waiter, and he would reluctantly come back out. I understand that we weren't eating so maybe not a priority, but money is money and business is business. There was nobody there and I'm assuming they would have made $0 if we weren't there, so why not give us service with a smile? I was willing to overlook this visit because, it was a cool looking place with a fun outdoor area and a fun menu. When my Jr. Women's club needed a place to go for dinner, I suggested it. Everybody was very excited to try something new. There were 10 or 12 of us and we had a reservation for 7:30. We sat right down and there were maybe 1-2 other tables filled. After a few minutes they took drink orders for most of the table (same tall waiter with dark hair). The drinks came at a fairly normal pace (we mostly drank pourable drinks, nothing fancy). A young waitress came over to take our appetizer order, she was very friendly and personable. She put in the order and then the tall waiter came back and asked if we were ready to put in food. There was no communication between them. Throughout our stay we had a few requests such as getting a wedge for the wobbly table, bringing sauce to the table or whatever else, most of which we had to ask several times for before they came. We were at the end of our meal and we had to get the attention of the waiter to come back over to do another round of drinks. He was busy socializing to the side of the restaurant. At this point there was only one other table filled so it was not that he was busy. We had to get their attention on several occasions just to order things or ask for things, they did not proactively come over at all. The food took a while and one meal didn't come out until the rest of us were almost finished. The food was not good. The chicken sandwich had a piece of chicken the size of a nugget. The panini was so fat, people couldn't bite it. It was bad. When it was time to pay the check, there was confusion from the waiter who wanted to do it his way (cash before cards) and it took 3 requests for him to just do the cards first. After he ran it all through, he then told us we owed an additional $9 because of credit card fees. This should have been reflected on the original bill or we should have been notified of this before transactions were made. At this point we just wanted to get out of there. So here is the thing that really was unbelievable. At one point when the waiter was bringing us appetizers, he dropped the sauce off of one of the plates. He was behind me so I didn't see but I heard him that he would bring another. I did look down to see where it went and didn't see anything. Later, my friend across from me told me that she watched him bend down and pick it up before he walked away. Fast forward to us leaving in a downpour, I put on my raincoat and flip the hood up and was surprised with goop all over my head. He had dropped the sauce into my hood, picked up the container out of my hood and didn't say a word. I went over to the bartender who was very sweet and helped me clean up my jacket and gave me napkins for my hair. I complained and she apologized. I will be calling a manager today. The kicker is that since we were a party of more than 6 people, the gratuity was automatically applied. This waiter got a pretty decent chunk of money for NOTHING. I was very angry so I left with a plan of calling today. Bottom line, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. It's a shame because the restaurants before them were awesome and now they are a waste of space. read more

This place is horrible! It's such a shame honestly because it's a cool looking spot. They charged us $25 per drink!!!! I was surprised to see that the chicken dish was $31 but I didn't say anything about that because I understand the cost of everything is a bit higher now. However, it definitely wasn't worth that. When we saw the check and noticed the cocktails were $25 each, we were insulted honestly. When we asked to speak to the owner about it she wouldn't come out of the kitchen. Similarly to the other reviews posted below, the common denominator aka the common problem with all of the other reviews which in tend on speaking the truth based on my lack of experience is the poor experience with service. I completely understand there is a shortage on staffing overall across America however, communication is also key. None of which exists here. It should not take 20+ minutes to pour a glass of Prosecco nor 30+ minute to check in on your table with not all tables outdoors are not filled and the entire indoor restaurant is empty, I can confirm as I checked. Please do not hire individuals to be bodies vs attentive individuals as your reviews will continue to reflect poorly on your establishment which I do not believe should be accurate. Our first experience here, We ordered the loaded nachos, which were not loaded at all, more so an afterthought honestly. We are a party of two whom ordered two salads with add ons, and I can promise you the shrimp was under cooked, which is an easy health violation. The service was so bad my waitress didn't even bring me my water after 30 minutes being there, AND IT WAS NOT BUSY. Me and my two friends were the only minorities in the restaurant and it felt as if there was some type of prejudice against us and that's unacceptable, especially in this day and age I was disgusted. This was by far the WORST restaurant I have ever been to. The food looked and tasted like it came right out of a bag. The nachos could've been made better by a four year old. The bacon was a strip of fat. Our meals came out and the cheese steak was cold, the cheese was hard, and there was a questionable sauce on it. The chicken panini was dry and also cold. The drinks were very underwhelming. I am embarrassed for the owner and the chefs that she/he hired. The servers were very nice and understanding but that is the only good thing about this place. I was trying to have a nice dinner at 6:30pm and "Shots by LMFAO" was blasting in my ears. We couldn't even eat our meals, they were so bad. I came in a couple days ago (Wednesday 11/18) with my friend to grab some lunch. The service was great, our waitress was very sweet, charming and efficient. The food came out quickly, I got the cubano and my friend got the chicken panini, and both were delicious! Disappointed in this restaurant. We went on a Friday night and the restaurant was empty. The food was just ok. I ordered the chicken tacos. The chicken was extremely dry and tough. Completely unacceptable. How do you mess up tacos? And they weren't cheap. That's another thing. Their drinks are super expensive, small and watered down. I ordered a Manhattan and it was see through so you know they are watering down the drink. The waitress Samantha was pleasant enough but bordered on annoying. Ok where to start. Called for a reservation and arrived on time. Stood at the desk waiting to be acknowledged for 5 minutes. How do I know? I thought it was strange they had an analog clock on their desk phone display. We sat at a rocking table and we waited 10 minutes for a drink order. We ordered 2 drinks and waited. And waited. In fact someone else came over and asked if we were being helped. 15 minutes later the drinks showed up and when they did the table rocked so bad the waiter had someone else come to the table and put a wedge under one of the legs. Waiter took out order for 2 salads and 2 ribeye steaks. The drinks went down pretty quick. That was the last time we saw ANY liquid at the table. I have no idea why they have water glasses on the table because they were never filled once. After waiting a half hour for a waitress to bring salads she took another drink order. We finished our salads without any drinks. At one point after I turned around and held my glass up to a waiter and practically yelled "can I have a glass of water please". Completely ignored When they waiter came back to clear the plates I had my AMEX card in my hand and told him I wanted the check. He said your steaks are coming. Told him I didn't want them. He didn't ask what was wrong. I paid the bill after waiting another 10 minutes. So Colin A. got no tip from table 5 under check 72 on 03-20-21. Total bill for 2 drinks and 2 salads after tax 60.78. It's really difficult to get a one star review. If you look at the reviews I have taken the time to write on Yelp, you'll see this is the first negative review I have given, yet I'm writing it because this place was THAT bad. Yes, it's COVID times and we are all feeling our way through it and this place is new, etc etc but this was intolerably bad service. Food was just "okay". Truth is, we went there for their cocktails and to see what it was all about as we used to frequent Center Tavern quite often. Service was so slow we had to complain Staff was so incredibly lax and no one wearing a mask or attempting to honor social distancing. Cocktails took 30-40 minutes to appear Manager and wait staff were rude and in the end, they blamed the service on staff calling in sick. Wonderful to hear. We won't be back. One more thing - it's okay if service is slow when you are a new place and are getting your feet under you. We would understand that and have experienced it many times. But this "consultant to the owner" who was walking about with her mask off could truly care less about our dissatisfaction and that rubbed me the wrong way when we had been there over 2 hours for 2 cocktails and some entrees. I've never had an argument with someone about their service in front of other customers but this crew didn't seem to care and it's that "take it or leave it" attitude that inspired this review. Great service! Very special thank you to Joe and X. We are four moms who had our first night out together in so long but obviously did not check the weather! It started raining not long after we got there. Two of us have brand new babies at home and were nervous to go indoors without a mask so when we said we wanted to try to stay outside they said absolutely and ran around in the rain getting us umbrellas and bringing us drinks...all will a big helpful smile even though they were soaked. We ended up having our drinks and heading out to a dry home but we appreciated that they never once gave the impression of being annoyed with us and they ran around getting soaked. As an employer, you should be so proud to know your employees are working so hard to make and keep customers happy. We will be back on a nicer night when it's not raining! read more
