I don't like going to coffee shops where it's mostly young white folks blasting hip hop yet they have no black or brown employees -- it makes me feel uncomfortable as a person of color - also I don't like seeing nudity from the kitchen which I saw and the kitchen was kind of grimy ;( - I won't be going there and I wish that the people working there would have a Black Lives Matter sign and have black employees if they want to be cool and blast hip hop all day . Love the vibe of this place. Great location. Really good coffee. And I loooooove that they make their chai tea lattes with Dona chai. It's so good. But it is a vegan place so all of their food is fake eggs and fake meat. Their oatmeal bowl was delicious but I wish it had more of the sautéed bananas and the nuts crumbled instead of served as whole. We aren't vegan and vegan food is so overly processed so we won't be coming back for that. But it's a great place for a good coffee. read more

This place is amazing. I've been to a lot of coffee places but this one is very unique and it blew my mind! My brother told me to try it out so I went there for breakfast this morning. I ordered a latte and a biscuit with egg and cheese on it. The latte was exceptionally creamy - it really stood out. The biscuit was square and it was sprinkled with sea salt. It tasted like the cheese was in the egg somehow. All in all it was fantastic, a little different but oh so good. I am very picky about about good food! I finished my meal and glanced over at the menu on the wall. At the very bottom, I read "All Vegan". I turned to my neighbor, who was eating the same thing, and asked, "Did I just eat fake eggs and cheese?". She assured me that I did and the coffee doesn't have real milk in it either. I drank Oatly - milk from oats. I am not vegan and I thought I could always tell when I was eating vegan replacements for meat products. Well, they fooled me. This place only used oatly milk so keep that in mind! The coffee was good but nothing really special. The avocado toast was delicious and well prepared. We stopped at the Siesta location and it was my FAVORITE COFFEE ever! The Pumpkin latte was perfectly sweetened with natural flavor and the Coconut Majik smoothie was amazing and the prettiest color! Wanted to try every dessert in the case but will have to save it for the next visit. Everyone in the shop was friendly and it was a very simple and clean storefront. read more

Didn't know it was vegan- that's on me. Understaffed - that's clearly on them. Friendly but frantically working barista trying to take orders and prepare drinks. Minimalist decor if that's your thing. If vegan is important to you - it's probably a good choice. I did not care for the cappuccino (the espresso was very sour) and I'm not a fan of oat milk. My husband is a coffee roaster and said that the beans were under roasted, but he that thought the black drip coffee was very good. Frankly - I don't understand how you can put "eggs" on your menu and not mention they're some mung bean concoction. "Eggs" is not a term of art up to interpretation, it's a single ingredient item. We will not be back, but it was busy, so obviously there's a market for this type of place it's just not our thing. read more

We ate the best breakfast we've had in a long time here! There were four of us, here from a slightly more COVID-careful region, so we were very encouraged by the masks and hand sanitizer at the door. We were also able to take our takeout to sit outside away from much foot traffic, which was great. We got the avocado toast (x2), the chia/granola bowl, and the biscuit with jam, plus a drip coffee, a latte, and a hot chocolate. Every thing we ate was the best version of we'd had anywhere. -1 star for the overall experience ....before 12 PM they were out of biscuits, but the real thing that rubbed us wrong was that we were then told that we have to get there earlier to get biscuits. Which suggests that they regularly run out of biscuits. Well then plan to order or make more, no? And they also refused to simply make the sandwich with toast instead of the biscuit. -1 star because my husband and I will never go back. I can totally see how all of the other low reviews were possible (I should have read them before we gave this place a try). BUT, every time I go in, they are BLASTING the most crass, cuss word filled, debased music. N word, P word, F word nothing is censored. I get that it is going for a "cool vibe" but you can do that with less misogynistic and offensive music. Some black customers don't want to hear the N word blasted while they are trying to enjoy an iced tea. Play some reggae or something. Others have complained about the music and they don't care but it is genuinely offensive and if someone was saying those words to me not in a song, it would be considered hate speech. read more

Don't ever go here! Worst coffee and customer service! My husband ordered an iced coffee and it was really weak. He told the guy it didn't taste good. The guy then tasted the coffee from the pot and said it's fine. All my husband said is well everyone's taste is different. The guy said fuck you and get out. All I can say is WOW. I then said don't ever speak to my husband like that and he said fuck you get out. I said give me my money back. He then proceeded to follow us outside to continue to start in with us. I love this place, and so does my wife and brother-in-law. The coffee is consistently excellent. My brother-in-law, who is a bit of a coffee aficionado, takes his kids there in order to teach then to properly "cup", smell, and taste coffees. Me, I just go there to chat. A coffee and an bowl of oatmeal is my vibe. My wife loves the vegan cakes, especially the carrot cake, and drives about 20 miles, each way, to have a slice. The place is small, but never feels crowded. There are occasionally people camped out with their laptops, but I've never been in need of a table. read more

A beautifully designed space with an immaculate vibe. The employees greet you with a nice smile which automatically makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. I came to this place with my family and we ordered an all day burrito, avocado toast, chia pudding, eggs, iced chai, turmeric latte, and an iced coffee. Everything here was excuted deliciously and served properly. Not only was the food appetizing to my tastebuds but also very visually appealing. The only thing is that I wish there was more seating for more people to enjoy this place. In the end I totally recommend you to come! read more

I am a coffee lover and went to Project Coffee in the morning after reading the hours of operation online. Even though it was within the hours of operation, as defined online, the door was locked. There were 2 employees inside. I knocked and they looked at me but did not even come to the door. There was not a sign stating the hours of operation. This experience occurred before Covid-19. I do not understand why anyone who practices good customer service would not open the door and tell me why the shop was not open. I will never bother stopping there again. read more
